[The video feed starts with Caelica's big bluish-green eye looking into the camera, blinking once until she adjusts communicator's zoom. In the background were dead monsters, with cauterized wounds caused by Caelica's sword that still glows. Caelica gives a polite nod at the camera]

Good afternoon, to whom may be watching. I'll keep this brief.

[Caelica paused, clearing her throat before going on a rant of sorts]

Since my arrival, I noticed many people with different powers and skills in weaponry, or combat in it's entirety. With us being from different realms, this makes sense. But my point is, I would like to learn about other ways of combat. I myself am proficient with the use of a longsword, and I wouldn't object to an exchange in combat knowledge through a duel, or fighting side-by-side against these beasts. [Caelica points to the dead monsters with the tip of her sword, creating a low hum]

I'm at the plains of Fayren if anyone would be interested in meeting. I'll be here until the evening!

[Seeing an opportunity, and capitalizing on it, Kazuya lunges forward, body low to the ground as he closes the gap between them as best he could in a few steps before leaping into the air, aiming a kick at Caelica's bowed head.]

Rule number one of combat, never take your eyes off your opponent!

[Caelica's senses and superhuman reaction time kicked in, but her surprise failed to make her dodge the attack. Kazuya's kick hit the side of her head. It launched her a few meters to the side, crashing against a boulder. Kneeling down on one knee with her sword planted on the ground, Caelica shakes off the attack. She feels her heart pound stronger, faster, as her fingers clench on the handle of her sword and the grassy earth below]

Attacking me when we haven't even arranged our bout? You have no honor, Mishima.

[Caelica's brows furrowed, standing up as the dust cleared and swinging her lightblade to create a hum. The attack awakened something in her- a lust for violence and an aggressive rage. Still, her knightly spirit remained dominant over her consciousness]

I never take my eyes off my opponent. You weren't one before you struck me. But now, you have my attention!

[Caelica dashes forward, creating a upward swing of her long lightblade. She may not have the strength equal to Kazuya without amping her body up with runic magic, but she has a weapon and range advantage for now...]

Honor has no place in battle. You think one of those beasts would have waited for you to introduce yourself? Did you give it the same courtesy?

[Still, he could practically feel the bloodlust well up in the air as she attacked. He spun to the side, barely able to avoid the wave of energy as he launched into another Shadowstep, trying to close the distance once more, though this time aiming a left hook for her torso.]

You'll have to do better than simply attending to provide me a challenge.

[On some level, Caelica knows that honor in battle is foolishness as Kazuya and Sofia in her world has tried to drill in her brain. But she needs that belief. It is the only thing stopping her from actively seeking to battle others for the sake of the rush of combat. Being as violent and callous as the monsters she just killed.

Caelica would respond to Kazuya and argue about their beliefs, but things are moving fast and her opponent is very strong. Seeing that hook coming, Caelica uses her power, creating a gauntlet made of light to act as armor and a cushion as she catches Kazuya's fist with her palm. The contact created a shockwave and cracked the ground below them from the force. Her mind is in conflict, making her unable to react just yet]

[Kazuya pushed against the gauntlet, testing it's defensive capacity. Once satisfied that it was not going to budge, he reared his head back, taking advantage of that lack of retaliation to send his head crashing forward against Caelica's.]

Hesitation is death. Power is everything.

[Caelica exclaimed once she felt that headbutt, breaking that construct once she got pushed two feet back. Is this man even human? Dalanyo physiology is superior to a human's but, this man isn't bothered by it. Before she completely lose her balance, something in her awakened. She stopped and recovered her footing. Her eyebrows furrowed as she felt her body heat up. She's beginning to let her rage take control of her, and without thinking she created a contruct of a hammer that she drives up towards Kazuya's jaw, moving surprisingly fast]

Be quiet!

[Kazuya manages to get his arms braced in front of him before the attack hit, but it was enough to lift him off his feet and stagger him a bit.]

So you can fight back. I was starting to wonder.

[Even as he taunted her, he quickly stepped forward, bringing his foot shooting up, ready for a second blow on the way down, regardless of whether the first blow landed.]

[The construct remained intact and undamaged, but Caelica changed it's form as she steps out of range of Kazuya's leg. She doesn't have unarmed combat skills even close to Kazuya's level, so if she doesn't want to get crushed, she's gonna have to abandon chivalry and use her powers to her advantage.

With a thought, the hammer changed into a flail, which Caelica swung at Kazuya. She didn't have the time to aim for any vital areas, and her upbringing is still preventing her from being fully violent. Caelica still has her sword on her other hand, but instead of attacking in tandem with the flail construct she waits for an opening before using it]

[That hits hard enough to send him flying to the side, though he doesn't stay down for long. In fact, when he gets up, he looks even more manic than before. He charges once more, paying little attention to the weapon or the construct, just aiming a fist at Caelica's face, what appears to be lightning crackling around his arm.]

[The lightning enveloping Kazuya's fist looks awfully similar to what she encountered before in her world. It only helped her focus more. Caelica backflipped meters away to create distance. She deactivates her construct, and then her sword. The lightblade and the runes vanished instantaneously, making the sword handle look like an elegant stick that she puts away on her belt]

You are strong, I would give you that.

[Caelica knows she could lose or even die here, but she hardly cares about that. She's more concerned about fighting her violent urges that this guy is just helping bring out to the surface. She glared intensely at him]

If you fight without weapons, I will fight you without weapons.

[Caelica summoned an aura shield that conformed to her shape, making her glow white. Gauntlets formed around her fists as she changed her stance...]
