OPEN ACTION | GENESSIA CITY LIBRARY
[Ending up in Genessia isn't exactly a Cool Funtime Experience™, but it's not like there aren't resources—the pamphlet, the money, the informative hologram... While disorienting, with a little coping time it's not too hard to get on your feet.
Or you could stubbornly decide to not wear the necklace, leave the videophone untouched, and ignore the advice about the Home for Children. That's also definitely a thing you could do, if you wanted to make things hard for yourself. You know, hypothetically!
In related news, there's someone in a huge suit of armor settled at a far table on the top floor of the library with a large stack of books. After skimming through each one (still wearing his helmet and both gauntlets, the weirdo), he sets it to the side, finally getting up and switching them out for a fresh stack once he's finished. Rinse, repeat! It seems like he's methodically working his way through the section on physical sciences with no signs of slowing down. Or bathroom breaks. Talk about dedication.]

1/3? prepare for ridick
It's with this in mind he heads up the library stairs with a stack of books he can't see over. Watching the floor for furniture, he just casually saunters over to Al's table, plants the books down, and huffs out a breath. Whew. He looks up]

"So, is there some danger you're expecting? I've never seen a reader so ready for an impending battle. I'd like to know of it too, and armor myself likewise."
no subject
Ummm. It's a hobby of mine.

"I see. Not to pry your suit of armor wide open like a clam shell, but are you something other than a human?"

Ah! I'm sorry, I can put them back! I kept them in order.

[She was pretty on top of things and had even started to sort something out to make it easier for other workers.]
It's nice to see people who are really into books.

...It's probably a good thing how used to she is of them just suddenly showing up out of nowhere. Not that she's any less overjoyed to see them anytime, this time is not an exception, and she's rushing to him as soon as her feet work again.]
Al? [yes, it's really him. Looking like he might be new or been here, in this weird new world, for a long while] How long have you been here?

Action
The steaming cup is held lightly between her fingers as she softly curses the cardboard piece around its center. It’s supposed to help protect your fingers from the heat? Yeah, no; it doesn’t. She looks at the cup with incredible focus, almost enough to miss the suit of armor sitting at one of the tables.
She stops and looks over at, what she assumes is a man.] I did not do that. [She whispers to herself which has kind of become a horrible inside joke... with herself. It takes a few seconds for Airy to realize she’s staring at which she starts stammering and stumbling over words.]
Ah… excuse me. I didn’t mean to… stare. [Oh, crap she’s staring again.] I mean… what cha up too?
[Smooth.]
no subject
It's alright. I'm used to it.
no subject
I'm sorry... I was rude. Are you looking for something in particular?
[Her thumb moves along the rim of her coffee cup as she spoke trying not to feel awkward.]

Who wears a suit of armor to a library??]
Do you...need more light? [Isn't it hard to read with that thing on?]

Hellooooo
Luke is returning the library book he'd been bringing when he'd run into Edward the other day, and was now trying to figure out the probability of the book he wants being on the shelf far above his head.
Considering how alphabetical order works, the odds are pretty high.]
...um. Excuse me.
[Look giant su its of armor are tall, okay? Sheepish, Luke approaches the edge of the table.] May--um, may I ask your help, sir?
