[ The feed clicks on to show what initially looks like a pair of twins wearing the same battered and torn clothing. The boys are both staring at the camera, frowning as if they’re not sure if they’ve gotten it to work. ]

Do you think that light means it’s on? It wasn’t there earlier and you clicked something.

Damn, you’ve gotten quite the mouth on you now. Wonder where that came from, Ling. [ The one who just spoke is rubbing his head while staring at the other, albeit with a bit of a smirk on his face. ]

Spending all that time with someone like you might have changed me permanently. [Like he wasn’t kind of a brat before Greed happened.] Anyway, what should we even ask from this phone?

Well, seein’ if there’s anyone else from Amestris here is a start. Better hope we don’t run into the wrong people though, I’ve had enough of my ‘family’ for one lifetime let alone the many I’ve gone through.

Sure, keep tellin’ yourself that. [ He finally turns to the camera again. ] Anyway, if any of you out there can hear us then maybe you can tell us what the hell’s going on here. And if any of you are from Amestris, better speak up because we wanna know if we’re the first ones here or not.

[ Well, that's weird. The fact that he's regaining consciousness again means there's either an afterlife or some nut was able to bond his soul to some kind of body.

A soft groan leaves him as the 'teen' sits up, but that's when he feels something off. This feels like--

That's when he sees his reflection in the water, and he's still in Ling's body!? It's a shock to say the least, but the bigger shock is seeing the other little boat with the familiar sleeping prince nearby.

There are a few conclusions he can make about all of this, and all of them piss him off.

Without even bothering with the package in his own container Greed gets up, a scowl pulling his expression into something nasty when he storms over and makes to try and shake Ling awake. ]

Hey, brat! Get up! The hell're you doing dead, you were supposed to make it out and get back to Xing with Ran Fan!

[Ling is very happily sleeping away, not really aware of the scenery changing ... or the fact he wasn't sleeping just a while ago. So when Greed comes to wake him up, he just mumbles.]

I'm not dead, I'm sleeping can't you see. Go away Greed.

[That's right, Greed's supposed to be dead. Dead and not shaking him physically, to be quite honest. Because of that, he opens his eyes and turns to look at Greed who, most certainly, is there. Looking like Ling.

He's pretty sure he didn't die though. They were just about to leave Amestris, but there was nothing there that could have really killed him - especially with Ed and others making sure they could leave.
