[But the one thing that will always make him panic flustered is the separation anxiety of losing all his family or even just one even if he's had to time to brace himself.]

[It wouldn't have been difficult to find Marco, not with him screeching like that! It almost knocked her out of the tree she was hiding in!

Why was she hiding?

Well, she wanted to see if he could spot her from her perch. Also to make sure he was really there. This wasn't some weird trick, right?

She can't wait to show him what she bought for him during the six days he wasn't around.]

[AN ADORABLE REINDEER BOY MINK!?]

[Marco switches back to human, rummages through the inside of his shirts and pockets to look for something, and procures a folder with sketches. Most of the pages he flips through seem to be things like bizarre animals Pokemon and a few of the phoenix he changes into, but indeed he holds up one of the chameleon looking silly, a shark fishman with an 8 tattoo and Crimin brand clothes, and a pompadoured idiot. There might also be an elongated pause on one of Whitebeard, before he decides the odds of his Pops being there weren't worth mentioning.]

I don't have a drawing of Ace, but he's always shirtless, has a bunch of freckles, an orange cowboy hat, and tends to fall asleep everywhere. Thatch is the guy with the big hair, he uses swords and wears a neckerchief even in the bath sometimes [Don't ask why he knows this], Namur is a shark fishman about eight feet tall, and with an 8 tattoo on his neck, and Espio is the chameleon.

[Snaps his fingers.] And Grell is... [Digs through his pictures again.]

Ah, sorry for the worry. [Bows.] I'm Marco.

[He'll recognize a few pokemon of course but the rest don't ring any bells until...]

[The yell starts on Whitebeard and suddenly stops on the mention of Ace, on which he'll suddenly clamp his hooves over his mouth with humongous eyes. After a bit of inner panic he'll unclamp his mouth and nod reluctantly. And of course his eyes hold a tinge of sympathy.]

I didn't get to meet Whitebeard before, but we met Ace a few years ago. I'm Chopper with the Strawhat Pirates! I also recognize a few of those pokemon but there aren't many around right now. I haven't seen any of the other people around but there's always a chance they might have arrived and not made themselves known, or they might come some day.

[But as if realizing something important, Chopper will brighten again.]

Oh, right! The navy and world government aren't here.

Not that I've seen so far. I'm the only other person here and the only other 'fruit user. No fishpeople, pirates, navy, nobles... Nothing. Nobody else has even heard of devilfruits.
