[The video feed opens up to a slender, feminine face set in a scowl, clear blue eyes staring right at the camera. Setting the device further away reveals that she's a slender girl, short and dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt and long blue skirt, with a ribbon on her hair and a ribbon tied around her neck.]

To the fair lady who has informed me about the nature of this world, I thank you for utilizing such fantastic technology to inform me and others who have been brought here.

Judging by the information and that someone had to have set up the time to make such a technological marvel, I can assume that our kidnappers have been so impudent as to refuse to release us or have any kind of ransom at all. To these kidnappers who have this audacity, I demand an explanation for this ignoble behavior.

Else you will be subject to the full might of the one who is of the class of Saber.

[At this moment there's a flash of light that emanates from her as she's suddenly clad in armor, a full breastplate, metal gauntlets, and an armored skirt as she holds something invisible in her hands, wind swirling around in front of her.]

[ To greet the woman is another young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes with ornate earrings and a full necklace on with a bit of a smile on her face. ]

Unfortunately, there is no way for us to go home yet, miss. [ Believe me, she tried all of the options. ] However, we are working on ways to go back home, make no mistake about that.

[Another one to greet her is a dragon with light brown scales and green frills, wearing a green jewel that dips between her eyes.]

No one's ever really heard from our...kidnappers...so trying to contact them won't work.

[Karla watches the announcement, and seems intrigued by the flash of light at the end more than anything.]

A Saber? Is that a sort of knight?

[Ah, another of the kidnapped people here apparently.]

That is a shame. Hopefully there can be a way to find our path home, unless this is another Grail War.

[ Grail War...? ]

Pardon me, but what do you mean by another Grail War?

[Oh, a noble dragon. There's an affinity with that that Saber feels. Or at least it's why she gives the dragon a more pleased expression.]

I see. Thank you noble dragon for your information. It's a pity our kidnappers are so without honor though. How do we bide our time here in this world then?

Indeed. I am of the class of Saber, a knight who excels in combat with the sword. Might I have the honor of knowing your name as well?

Is this...not the Grail War being done here?

[She thought it might have been another false Grail summoning. Though she didn't get any information of this time period beyond that hologram. Even then it was something given externally, not fed to her mind upon summoning.

Though it was strange she was called here with no Master nearby.]

I suppose it isn't another one. Do not worry yourself over it, there should be no issues amongst Magi to be had. [Over the grail at least.]

I'm Karla. I, too, have my skills with the sword. It's refreshing to meet another woman with such skill.

[...Another person who sees dragons as "noble"? Certainly strange, but at least it's better than being seen as some evil monster.]

Ah...my name is Azalea. For humans...I believe they seek a job in one of the five cities here.

We dragons have no need for such a thing, though, as we can hunt for our own food.

[Well considering Saber has the essence of a red dragon in her, it's no surprise she'd consider them noble, if fierce creatures. Though her duty is to her people, so any dragon that would have threatened them she had her knights and herself to fight them.]

It is a pleasure to meet you, Azalea. My name....You can call me Saber for now. It is a name I am used to and in this land I am not a King.

[She does listen about the need for a job, that was talked about earlier with the hologram too.]

I see. Perhaps there may be some use for my skills then.

Ah, nice to meet another master of the sword then. Maybe we could clash blades one day.

You may call me Saber. Though it is just the class under which I am summoned, it shall suffice for a name. [Until she's absolutely sure there isn't another Grail War and people here aren't going to look for any kind of weakness when it comes to fighting her.]

A knight! [He practically swoons]

Still, are you very certain that you were kidnapped?

[A curious name. It almost sounds like a dragon's name.]

And your skills...you're a warrior, aren't you?

Perhaps we should. I would expect a greater challenge from a woman than a man.

[Bakura is gaping. It's rude to stare and normally he wouldn't, but...] That's amazing. How did you do that?

Indeed, I was trained and raised to be a knight and King of Britain.

Beyond combat alone, I have experience and talent within the aspects of governing.

[She does sigh though at the latter part of the statement.]

Do not presume gender has any standing within the strengths and weaknesses of a person. After all I am a King amongst many male knights.

As certain as I am that someone like you is most likely not the kidnapper.

One does not close their eyes then immediately find themselves whisked away to a foreign world unless magic and kidnapping was involved.

It is merely my own abilities.

[It might be rude of herself to not say more either, but she's not survived two Grail Wars by being callous and carefree with information.]

I do recommend you cease your staring. It is quite uncouth.

[She frowns.]

Pardon me, as I was raised in a very...gender-divided culture. Where I grew up, I was not even allowed to touch a sword because I am a woman. Women in my house were told to do whatever men say.

All the men I have faced in the arenas relied on brute strength, while women fight more with quickness and wit.

The pattern is there, whether gender is a part of it or not.

Hm...Indeed that is a thing from my own time too. Though from experience I've found that has become less so in later centuries than what I grew up in.

[She speaks as though it were merely fact that she's experienced another time. Perhaps as a time-traveler or the like?]

Men do like to rely on brute strength yes, but for where strength fails, skill and wit win out. Those of my knights are known for both strength and wit, to embarrass neither themselves or their king.

I admit to not knowing how much women fight like, as I was raised to fight like a man. [Which is probably surprising with so slender a build as hers, looking more like a frail prince or dainty princess than any warrior of might.]

That sounds...noble. I can't really say we are as noble as that. You sort of sound like my clan leader...but he merely shows us the ways of survival.

Since I've been in this world, I've seen some people who seem to revere dragons, and others who view us as evil. It's...rather fascinating, in a certain way.

[Though she's not too happy about being viewed as evil without just cause.]

Mmm. There is much to be said for the chivalry of knights and the honor they bring themselves should say much.

Men are fickle creatures though. You can be both revered and seen as evil. As an unnecessary creature upon this world simply because how you act is different from theirs.

There is not to be gained by associating with such individuals if you are not among them.

'Most likely'? That doesn't sound certain at all. Still, you're probably right. What gave it away?
