First Rose Fragment: Little Doll on a Suitcase [Video]

[A little face frowns at the screen.] Jun? ...Did a version of you make the wrong choice again?

[She sighs, the feed shows a slender girl with long light grey hair wearing an old fashioned frilly black dress. She's sitting on what looks like a gigantic brown suitcase. Or at least it seems gigantic compared to the girl's size, since she could clearly fit completely inside of it. Also she's currently sitting on it and her feet aren't touching the ground.]

Pretty sure our lovely Shinku messed up again. [Honestly her bet is on Kirakishou, their crazy younger sister. But she won't say that out loud. She's too used to blaming Shinku anyway.] Seriously I have better things to do than being sent to some weird place I know nothing about.

[She has to find Megu. She has to. She made a promise.]

Is anyone even hearing this?

You're used to be sent into worlds that aren't yours? How is that?

The first time, it was due to some form of technology that pulled me across dimensional boundaries. The second time, I don't know.

Did that technology pull you there after you were asked to make a choice?

Where are you from in the first place?

No. I woke up there without being given any sort of a choice at all.

A place called 'Earth Land.'

That is a very long story. One that spans four hundred years.

Four hundred years? [A pause.] No med... human being can live that long.

This world is made up of cities protected by 'guardians.' Beyond that, it appears to be a nexus between several different worlds, connected by 'gateways.' Beyond that... I don't know.

[ Zeref pauses, and takes in a deep breath through his nose. ]

I can still feel Eternano in this world, or at least something that feels very similar to it.

Whoaaaa! No way, you're so tiny!

[ Don't mind Keiichi, he's just amazed at seeing a tiny person using the communicator. That was a first. ]

I'm not tiny. I'm the perfect size for a doll. [Especially the doll who's going to become the next Alice. Or so Suigintou thinks, at least.]

Considering a lot of people here seem to be from the future... and my world is stuck in the past, that seems kinda right I suppose.
