[Ryo starts up the video feed. There are a bunch of boxes behind him. Deliveries that they’ve been getting today. He opens his mouth to say something, but he hears a knock at the door. He pauses and gets up to answer it.]

Ah..excuse me. [Ryo comes back over and grabs his bandanna from near the device. He disappears off screen again.]

Why do you assholes keep bringing packages here?! If you want to send something to my Miss, then you need to send them all at once!

[Seriously. Answering the door so often is obnoxious.]

Don’t make deliveries one after another! And don’t send so many damn packages in the first place!

[A few moments later the door closes and Ryo comes back over to the device and sits in front of it. He’s removed his headband so he is back to normal.]

Miss. You have some new packages. And mail. [He cant even remember what he started up this thing to say. So the video goes dead after he starts to open up said mail. It’s Alice’s but he’d be made to open it up anyway.]

[ Alice heard the yelling from the other room, but she didn't really care too much to stop them. The poor delivery guys could just hold them and they could come pick up their mail at the post office and it'd probably be easier on everyone, but you know. Convenience!! ]

It is from Aster Technologies. They want to do a line of appliances with you as the Spokesperson. They want a meeting to discuss it with you.

[ That's like the third one this week. She has to consider carefully!! ]

I think that's what they want to discuss. They might let you choose, if they want you badly enough.

It's because if they're arguing over me, they're going to offer me more and better equipment if they know exactly what their competition is trying to do.

How about we invite them for dinner at the end of the dinner service next week? I don't think we have a table, but maybe we could set up a performance-style dinner that would rearrange the seating in the restaurant just for the week to fit a couple more people? We could do it shokugeki-style or try synchronized cooking.

[ If they see what Ryo can do he's more likely to get a spot, too, after all.. And honestly she wants Ryo to get to do all the stuff she gets to, even if he doesn't ask. Forcing Ryo to show off that they're on equal terms would get him a reputation that could get him in the same boat as her. ]

[Oh yeah, if they eat Ryo's cooking, it will blow their mind. He doesn't really care if he's famous or not, though. But he also doesn't mind synchronized cooking or a shokugeki-style event.]

That could work. We will need to work out a plan for how to arrange things ahead of time so it will all go smoothly. [That way there will be no fumbling or things taking too long.]

Which ever you believe they would enjoy more is fine by me. [~~He is so going to end up getting labeled as her sidekick or something.]~~

If we do it synchronized, we'll both have to decide on a dish and make sure we both know all of each others' techniques for it.

[ She thinks that would put them in a better light than if one of them lost. She doesn't want to lose her spotlight if Ryo does better that night, but she also doesn't want Ryo not to get seen as super awesome and cool. ]

Oh! Let's do the main dish synchronized, then a shokugeki service for dessert!

[ THAT WAY THEY GET BOTH. And the shokugeki is the only way to top awesome synchronized cooking. ]

[She sounds like she is getting more and more excited about this. Ryo has faith that they can manage a synchronized dish. They've spent more than enough time with each other that it shouldn't be too hard of a task.]

I'm certain they would all enjoy a show like that. [His dessert is going to be better than hers, though. But he's sure yours will be good too, Alice.]

[ She definitely is. Besides, the commercials will be so much cooler with Ryo standing in the background they need to earn this. ]

I believe the combination seafood dish that we have been working on might suffice. Unless you think they might enjoy something else.

[ Alice moves over and picks up the nearest kitchen tool as a show of enthusiasm. LET'S GO DO IT FORGET THE MAIL, RYO. ]

Why not set up like a spot where they can just drop off the packages that don't need to be signed. A chute to put them into your apartment or something?

I will suggest that to Miss. She's only just recently started receiving packages this closely together.
