Who: The Iron Bull & Open
Where: Various
When: April 6th-8th
What: Meet with the Iron Bull after his arrival in Genessia
Warnings: Language, possibly sexual language will update as it comes. Debauchery of all kinds.

[What's a guy like Bull to do when he get torn from his world and dropped right in the middle of the of a strange new one? Drink. Clearly the answer was drink. Of course, not without exploring what he could first. He was Ben - Hassrath after all.]

The Arch Ways
[A low grunt erupted from the pit of Bull's chest as he stood among the archways. They had to be Eluvians, There was no other explanation for it, and he'd at least somewhat understood what Eluvians were.

Bull was far more comfortable with the known than the unknown. So, naturally he was trying to rationalize this new world in every manner that he could. Wasn't quite working out as he planned.

The Drunken Monkey

[Truth be told, Bull could drink anywhere there was alcohol. However, even for him this expansive new place was a bit over whelming, especially the cities that were more modern than places. It was enough he was whisked away but somme unknown magic shit that he didn't understand, but the spy in him was curious enough to want to know every little corner of this world.

Which was easier said than done of course. This "Genessia" was too big for it's own damn good. He needed something to numb his mind - luckily gold was something that nobody was going to turn down, no matter what world - so here he was in a more familiar looking place, numbing himself with the strongest drinks he could, and scanning the tavern for anything -well anyone- interesting. Maybe he'd get lucky and spot a cute red head.]

[As always Levy has a pile of books in her arms and a lot on her mind. Lately her thoughts have been spilling and colliding as if unable to remain in place for long. It just takes her dizzy and work is the only distraction she has. However it doesn't distract her enough, she notices that it's dark and feels herself collide with something large and unmoving.

Except it isn't a something but a someone. Her books go toppling to the ground and her usual smile falters.]

I'm sorry.

[She looks up and up and she doesn't even come to this guys waist.]

Did you just take up at the bay?

[Levy definitely thinks she'd remember him. He reminds her of Lucy's celestial spirit.]

[Bull looked down at the girl, as she toppled down.] No, it's fine. [How could she have missed him? He hadn't even known dwarves with that problem. Her eyes sight didn't seem impaired.

He stooped down to her level, beginning to pick up her books.] If you're ask had I just arrived, yeah. Are you the welcoming committee?

[She is not a dwarf! Thank you very much.]

Oh, not really but I can be.

[Levy reaches down and collects her books, taking the ones from him with a smile. Most of the covers look like horror novels.]

I'm Levy McGarden. I've been here for awhile. At least over 8 Months. If you have questions I can try and answer them.

[She's heading to her bookshop in Fayren but she isn't on a timetable.]

[A low grunt came out as she stood up the final book in hand as he flipped through it for a moment. He caught a few things here and there...this, very itty bitty person was into this? Interesting.]

A tour wouldn't hurt. Anything the paper work doesn't tell you when you get here.

[Levy laughs and then shakes her head as she arranges her books in a way that's easy to carry.]

A lot actually. I don't know if it mentions the boundaries or the current trouble in Fayren and Everglade.

[Her eyes scan over his muscly arms.]

I don't think trouble stands a chance against you.

[Bull gives a low, pleased chuckle in response.] I usually enjoy a bit of trouble. The bigger, the badder, the better. Of course, I'm not stupid enough to forget that small packages can be pretty dense themselves. Just not as fun to hit.

[This is the sort of humor Levy is used too and she can't help but chuckle.]

Okay, let's start with the Barriers. You can only go so far away from the main towns before you hit them and then you'll pass out and wake up feeling awful in the Hospital. [Not that she's tried personally.] Fayren currently has the Hands of Decay. We don't know a lot about them except they are hunting mages and they aren't afraid of hurting people. [Her brow furrows at that but she continues.] Everglade has a curfew, anyone out after dark more or less forfeits their life to the things that live there. They don't value life.

[That's the short short version.]

How unfortunate, usually the best of the worst things happen after the sun goes down. [This Hands of Decay however sounded interesting.] Why do these mages need to be hunted? Blood Magic? Or these "Rotting Hands" just being cocks about it?

[Levy raises an eyebrow at Bull but says nothing. She reads when the sun goes down having little to no excitement unless things were exploding.]

The second one. They hurt innocent people, target anyone with appears to have magic just because they want to be in control. [She lets out a frustrated sigh, clearly this has been on her mind.]

Fayren thrives on magic and it seems like they want to destroy all of it. It's stupid but we don't know a lot about them. They aren't making it easy to charge in and fight. They're probably hiding among those helping too. [Another annoyed breath of air leaves her lips.]

My bookshop is in Fayren, so I know a fair amount about it.

That's certainly no good. It's one thing to have a beef with someone who fucked you over, or even someone you paid for. Killing people, no matter what they are that are innocent, doesn't sit right.

[He thought on it for a moment.] If your book shop is there, does that put you in any danger?

[Levy agrees though she wouldn't phrase it like that. She signs softly hearing Bull's concern. It isn't his fault, she's in one explosion and her friends get in a tizzy about it, well, a few friends in particular but its the same concern she's heard since that incident.]

Technically yes but there is a shield placed around the shop. I have to protect those who work there too.

[As it's owner she considers this her job as well.]

It isn't perfect but it's strong and they might catch anyone breaking in of guard.

A shield? So, you're a mage yourself then? [It would make sense at the very least.] What's stopping these people from following you out and whacking you off when you're not protected by your shield?

[Levy's mouth opens and then snaps shut.]

Nothing is really stopping them... I'm not completely defenseless.

[She isn't that strong either.]

Oh no, I'm sure you're aren't. You're a mage after all. [At least in his world, mages were capable of some incredible ...and terrible feats.] You don't sound all to confinement in your ability to protect yourself, however.

[Levy's always had confidence issues, she doesn't even know why she was selected for the S test. She isn't as strong as Natsu or Gray or the others.]

I get by.

[She hasn't always been able to protect herself.]

If you say so.

[A beat.] You know, if you need extra protection. I do run a mercenary company back home. They're obviously not with me, but at least available. For a price.

[Levy blinks looking up at the large man before her. She instantly thinks about the guild and the families that are calling it home. She doesn't think of her own protection sadly.]

Really?

[Money isn't an issue.]

Could you help those who we are trying to protect? I would have to ask Lucy but I'd be able to pay you.

The key woe is "pay." As long as we settle on something fair, I'm game. As long as you're not using blood magic. Then on principle alone I'd have to smash you're head in before you can do something stupid, like summon a demon.

[Levy nods with a smile.]

I don't know who does anything like that. You don't have to worry and I'll be able to pay you fairly.

Sounds like we've got a deal, Boss. By the way, call me Iron Bull, or Bull. Hell if you got something better, I'd go by that too.

[Though he highly doubted it. He was really good at picking his name.] Why don't you show me to work?

I think Bull suits you.

[She laughs, rising thin fingers to her lips as she does.]

Sure! It's just through the Fayren Archway. [She nods her head behind him which is where she'd be heading anyway.]

Have you been to Fayren yet?

Not yet. Remember, you're tour guide. Been waitin' on you. [He smirked again. he reminded her a bit of a dwarf, just less hairy. Not that he minded.]

[Duh.

Levy smiles and then nods leading the way towards the archway to Fayren. It isn't far and she pauses outside of the portal before stepping through. He doesn't seem to be the type to get disoriented but she wants to make sure she doesn't lose him.]

This is Fayren.

[She says finally, heading towards the small town nestled among the vast forest.]

This certainly feels familiar. [It woods had quite the "Emerald Graves" feel about them.] Hopefully, it's not all woodys though. I need a good tavern to waste time at.

Ah, the Dancing Donner.

[She points off in the distance.]

I go there from time to time. Let me show you my book shop and I can end the tour there?

[Levy smiles before walking off towards her shop.]
