[File 4] The Monster Mash
WHO: Sans and Dracula
WHERE: Castlevania
WHY: Sans
[Sans had been paying attention to the tenuous drama between the humans from Remnant that he almost missed a lot. With Flowey's arrival, he was now keeping his eye in him and those he interacts with. One he saw... Dracula...
Sans wanted to speak with him. So after a few days, he found the sub-archway to Castlevania and helped himself in. It was quite nice how the resident minions stayed out of his way, but finding the man himself was taking too long... so he found a shortcut.
Now he found the throne room. Probably. Now to decide if he should let himself in or knock. He decided to let himself in.]

I do not often have visitors of your kind, so I hope you will forgive the lack of an escort. However, I do find myself curious as to why you have chosen to grace Castlevania's halls.

"...'yer LV. It's pretty high...isn't it?"
no subject
I don't know what you are talking about.
no subject
"...LV... It means, Level of Violence. Someone like ya... A LV that high can't be an accident."
no subject
When one is charged with the defense of a small nation from a much larger invading force, violence is unavoidable. In order to maintain my homeland, some examples had to be made.
Does this line of conversation have a point to it, or did you traverse all this way to comment on my abilities in battle?
[...Though come to think of it... how DID the skeleton know about his propensity for violence? Though the shift in his throne was minuscule to the untrained eye, he assumed a more defensive stance, ready to explode into a cloud of bats at a moment's notice.]

"...heh... No... I meant all the lives ya took not in battle..."
no subject
Those? Those were willingly given to me. The only times I have killed, I have either done so in battle, or taken a life in payment for something else. Never have I simply murdered in cold blood.
[Massacre innocent civilians as his armies ran over the surrounding areas? Definitely. But those were battle casualties in his head.]
If a man comes to me seeking the darkness I hold, and pledges their soul to me in payment, who am I to deny them their dreams?
no subject
"...really? ...heh... Yer a dirty rotten liar, aren't ya?"
[Sans blinked, and the white points in his sockets were gone, leaving behind nothingness.]
"I saw what you did at the Bay."

[That gets a rather amused chuckle as his posture relaxes.]
They did not die. They are still very much alive. You actually passed the fountain that is connected to the waterways they call home on your way here. Like most in this place, they care very little about their physical form because they are not bound to it. Should their bodies die, another will be formed for their souls to inhabit.

[Sans widens his stance a bit.]
"...it tells me all I need to know 'bout ya."
no subject
However, if that is truly all you care about, then you are no better than the pitiful humans that scurry about, seeking only to act on their own ignorant preconceptions of the world.

[He pauses, taking a blood-filled goblet from the table next to his throne, and drinking it down before standing.]
Or perhaps you could join my legion, put those powers of yours to the use they were meant for.
no subject
"...A life with power...where I am at the lonely top?"
[Then, quiet again to think about it. Sure, he knows he would be more a slave than Dracula's equal, but he would be the only one who can do what he can do. To be feared for his power and using that power to make sure he and Dracula were feared.]
"...why the hell would I wanna do that?"
no subject
Oh, so simply asking nicely, offering what you think the other wants doesn't actually work? Shocking. Truly shocking.
[He sits back in his throne, snapping his fingers.]
Perhaps you should leave then, skeleton. Before I have the head maid escort you off the premises.

[Sans doesn't move from his spot as he shifts his weight to one leg.]
"...though, keep in mind...I'll be watchin' ya. Don't do anything I wouldn't do... ya don't wanna have a bad time..."
[Sans turned on his heels and walked out of the room. He knows he'll have to prepare himself for he doesn't trust Dracula.]
no subject
My eyes will be on you as well. I would advise staying out of my way, lest you be crushed underfoot.
[Once he's said his piece, the doors open once more.]
no subject
"heh heh heh..."
[The skeleton then proceeds. But once he was safely out of the doorway, he suddenly vanishes from sight. A little demonstration of Sans' ability to find "shortcuts."]
