Briefing 2 | [Action/Private Video]
[Private to Troy]
I never had a chance to properly thank you for your aid a few weeks ago. I'm sorry that you and Akihiko were put through the trouble.
[He was a little awkward about speaking to him so late after all of that. He'd been meaning to thank Troy for a while, because he couldn't exactly go and drop off the radar after being dropped off at the hospital. He did feel that he owed Troy and Akihiko both somehow... and honestly, after seeing Troy dispatch shadows so easily, Blaze couldn't help but feel a little drawn and intrigued by it.]
[Private to Mewtwo]
[With the new details about the Hands of Decay having surfaced, and Blaze back to feeling healthy, he had to get in contact with the Fayren deputy again. Between the interview that was in the newspaper, as well as the new Doll Corps, he wanted to get updated incase plans had been changed.]
I'm sorry I dropped off the radar. I ran into some unexpected trouble recently. What's the sitrep on the Hands of Decay?
[Action]
[With those messages out of the way, Blaze could get back to what he was concentrating on before. He had decided to go out to the park in Genessia City, and being this late at night, he was the only person there. After the incident in the TV World and spending so long in the hospital as result, Blaze found himself a little behind on everything, given his job at the library and personal training. Normally he'd only go to the Sand Gym once a day, but lately he's been pushing himself to go both times it was open, for both training classes and his personal fitness. Tonight, he'd figured go to the park and maybe get a little extra practice in, and some much needed fresh air. He was probably overworking himself honestly, and he knew that Nagase would scold him for that if she were here, but he needed to keep himself occupied.
Blaze had headphones on, listening to a song that could likely be faintly heard if someone approached him. He was far more alert about his surroundings with headphones on now, though. He wasn't going to let a repeat of what happened with Adachi. Blaze was doing anything from a range of simple stretches and exercise, to practicing movements and stances according to the lessons he was getting at the gym. A wooden sword was resting on the bench nearby, and beside it was a tiny munchkin cat, who was staring and watching Blaze. His cat had gotten a little clingy after he was gone for so long, so Sisko was content on being outside with Blaze, and surprisingly not getting into trouble.
Approach him? Throw something at him? Ask why someone's out in the park so late?]

Action
She steps over to the kitten and lightly places her book on the bench.]
Are you keeping him safe?
[She smiles and then reaches towards the kitten.]
Action
Blaze, meanwhile, notices her from the corner of his eye. He stops what he was doing and moves his headphones down around his neck, looking over towards Levy.]
He's been kind of insistent on going out with me lately.
Action
Ah, is he? Why is that?
[She turns to look up at Blaze with a warm smile.]
Action
I- [How does he explain this?] -ran into a bit of trouble recently and wasn't able to be home for a little while. He's been glued to me since I got back.
[Sisko would just sit there and purr. A munchkin cat doesn't really make for a fierce protector. Blaze has had to sneak out of the apartment a few times so the cat wouldn't follow him.]
Action
Sounds like a very good friend to have.
[Her fingers lightly pet the kitten.]
He's a very good watch kitten.
[She has a bunny who's similar in its affection.]
Action
[Especially since he feels a little lonely here in Genessia, not that he'd be one to show it though. He smiles a bit, approaching Levy and Sisko, the cat purring at the attention. He looks at her then.]
Levy, right?
Action
Yeah. [She’s surprised that he remembers her name.] And Your Blaze. We spoke when you first arrived. I guess for the second time.
[She keeps petting the small cat not wanting to pull her attention away from the cute little ball of fluff.]
Action
Yes, I remember. It's nice to meet you in person. [It's still weird acknowledging that it's his second time here.]
What has you out this late?
Action
[She smiles holding up the books she had stowed beneath one arm.]
I really like reading.

He felt Blaze, of course, but it was only one guy so he didn't really care. He stopped at the bench, though, determined to take a rest whether the bench was occupied or not. He looked over to the admittedly adorable cat and gave it a nod of greeting before taking a seat. His eyes were drawn to Blaze as he was going through motions, pretty much oblivious to the tall, muscular blond's presence, which was all the same to Clay. He was pretty sure he was at least marginally familiar with the techniques Blaze was using and he found himself wondering where the man had picked them up. They seemed new to the guy.]
action;
Sorry, I didn't realize anyone would be out this late.
[Even though he was there first and the park was empty before but hey, he's polite like that.]
action;
Don't worry about it. You've got a good point. [He glances at the cat, then back to Blaze.] Cute cat.
action;
Thank you. He isn't really... one to let me go out alone right now.
[Okay, maybe he sounded a little embarrassed on that one.]
action;
Yeah. He's a pretty damned ferocious guard-cat. You should count yourself lucky.
[But enough being a dick...for now.] You been around here a while?
[He's not talking about the park.]
action;
Yes, he's quite the guard. He'll send a lot of people running when they look at him.
[You know, with all that floof and the big eyes and the tiny tiny legs. Can't ask for a cat more ferocious, especially as he curls up on the bench. He looks back to Clay.]
Kind of. This is my second time here, actually.
action;
I gotta be honest. I'm glad I'm sitting down, otherwise, I might just run.
[But he raised an eyebrow at the man.] You're the second person who's told me that. I wonder what keeps bringing people back.
action;
[He can't help but appreciate the light hearted banter, especially after what had been going on lately. He looks briefly perplexed, but it fades quickly. He shouldn't be surprised that there are others like him that arrived a second time.]
I don't know. No one knows what brings us in the first place, let alone what drags us here for a second time.

[Private Video]
Hello? Oh yeah, you're the pilot guy Blaze.
[He nods while taking a quick glance to the side to check some noise, but it was apparently nothing so he looks to the camera again, smiling]
And well, like I always say, no worries man. We're just glad you're alright. How are you feeling now?
[Private Video]
[He takes notice right away that Troy's in that armor again, and being aware that he was also one of the Deputy Guardians, he should probably make sure he's available to talk.]
I'm not interrupting your duties, am I?
[Private Video]
[He shrugs]
...So, I get the feeling you've got other things in mind besides thanking me. Am I right?
[Private Video]
I understand if it's classified, but I have to ask. You dispatched those 'shadows' so easily. How did you do it?
[Private Video]
"How did you do it" is a vague question, don't ya think?
[Troy pauses, rolling his shoulder and putting his rifle away on his back, then he starts walking]
I could tell you that it's a ton of training, experience dealing with that sort of shit back home, or packing weapons advanced enough to do the job. All would be true but none of 'em more important than the other.
[Private Video]
Yes, you're right. [He does sound a little embarrassed there.]
But that suit- what is it? I've never seen anything like it. I don't think even Belka with its vast technology has anything even close to it.
[Nordennavic, maybe, but Nordennavic is also kind of crazy.]

A couple of hours of silence and then sarcasm? It's like we're married... Don't mind her. That's my AI.
[Troy knocks on the side of his helmet to shut Silke up]
It seems to be a rarity even in here. It's a independently powered combat suit. It's tech from my world and enhances the wearer's battle capabilities and all that. Gives a regular man a boost to fight against things we're not meant to deal with.

Would I be right in assuming that it's military issued where you come from? I could only imagine the training necessary to use it.
