Why Hello, all of you lovely people~!

[ As usual, Yato is cheerful as hell with absolutely no restraints with a big, wide grin on his face when he appears on screen again. There'd been so much drama and other stuff going on around here so he figured something good oughta happen here and perk everyone up.

Plus he was a bit bored. So... yeah. ]

I know. You all missed hearing from me, but here I am once again to fulfill a great purpose!!

[ Yeah he's a bit of an over-dramatic idiot sometimes but the look he's wearing says that doesn't even remotely bother him in the least, two fingers twirling what looks to be a singular yen coin between them absently. ]

With all the heavy stuff goin' around I thought I should be the one to lighten the mood around here and ask you guys one thing. [ His expression seems to lose a bit of that overzealous happy grin somewhat and he stops with the coin briefly, as to focus his attention solely on the ones he's addressing. ]

Whether you be human, inhuman or whatever... I'd like to know if any of you have a dream that you wish to achieve. If so, what is it??

I don't... I mean I had a dream. I wanted to go to college but I can't really do that anymore.

[She pauses awkwardly.]

I'm thinking of trying to be a writer...

[ For a moment he's quiet before a thoughtful noise sounds and even if not visible, he's smiling again. ]

A writer, huh? I say go for it. If ya can't go to college then pursue being a writer 'cause what's stopping you?

I'm not sure what to write first. I have a friend who's an actor. I could try and write a play...

[She sounds unsure.]

You really think I can do it?

That's quite the noble dream you have, there.

[ That's certainly an interesting dream there, Mikoto. So that ends up with him giving the other a curious look, raising an eyebrow. ]

How do you plan to go about achieving this exactly?

I've already narrowed down the prime locations where confessions are most likely to happen in all of the cities. I can't try to make someone interested in case something bad happens...and I don't want to have it happen to someone I'm attached to because then I'd have to deal with it and depressing endings shouldn't be dragged out too long. So I can only hope to run into it at this point...because if I asked someone they would think it was too dangerous.

[Anubis looks unsure, but when he answers, Yato might notice something...different about his speech, and yet he might be able to understand him despite that.]

There's someone I want to stay with forever. My dream is to make them happy.

[ It's easy to pick up on what the other said, despite he'd noticed the change easily. You don't manage to live a good couple centuries without picking up on a few things. The second thing is that the other's dream is very similar to his own, the more he thinks about it. ]

Yeah? That's definitely a good dream to be having.

[ A pause follows that, a smile on his face now. ]

My greatest dream is to outdo Weiss in terms of income.

Is that even possible? The girl runs her own company and is the Guardian of Nova City so you'd have to try and top that.

Aw [There's a hint of sarcasm. Just a hint. He doesn't want to ruin her dreams.] I didn't know you were that ambitious. Guess I should have figured after you dragged us all over to find a few pink items.

[ Good god she's cute. It's kind of distracting but he still manages to blink a couple times before remembering he should probably answer that. ]

Yeah? What does being a professional Pinkist entail?

[ Really. He was genuinely curious about this. ]

I have a dream that a friend of mine will be the best swimmer the world has ever known.

[ One of the sports guys huh? He'd never had the will or build to become a successful swimmer, but full time god and killer of phantoms in his world kind of took a lot of that time up either way. ]

You really have that much faith in 'em? They gotta be pretty skilled for ya to say that.

There's a lot of things I want to achieve. In a way being here has a been a blessing because I can start over. [Ryou looks earnest.]

I guess the only thing I want is to be sure that I'm really safe. That a dark entity won't return one day and try to take all of that from me. I think he's gone for good. I'm probably just paranoid. But I wish I could be sure is all.

That kinda thing sounds like it's given ya a lot of trouble in the past. However, I'm sure if you think he's gone, he likely is.

If you're still worried about that, the best you can do is build yourself up so that if for some miraculous reason, he DOES come back, you have the strength to stop him yourself.

I'd turn back time and stop my partner from becoming a monster. I wouldn't run away. I'd stay and I'd try to fix things and I'd try harder to reach out to those in my group that might feel how I feel but are too scared to speak up.

[Blake's smile is sad.] But, time doesn't go in reverse. I'd settle for the power to be able to protect the people I care about. So that I don't have to watch them get hurt again. It won't be easy, but I think I can still achieve at least that.

[ From experience, Yato knows exactly how hard it is to admit these kinds of things and possess the will to want to fix your past mistakes. In turn with that, it sounds as if she's had a lot of troubles in her past if that sad smile she wore after was any indication of this.

When she's done, his own expression is a bit pensive but he nods without even missing a beat. ]

With that kind of resolve, i'm inclined to believe that you can. Work toward it and you'll be able to achieve that dream of yours.

[ It's only fair to put in something from his side after what she's told him with that. ]

I don't say that just cause it's the right thing to say, but something I believe in wholeheartedly. I've been there, and seen someone I care for get severely hurt because of me and I regret that I wasn't strong enough then to stop it from happening.

Digimon, you say?

[ Now that's new. BUT he does appreciate that she wants to actually bring about peace and harmony between two different types of beings. There's more to it than it probably seems but he won't ask about that yet. ]

I've never really heard of those before, but that's still actually a pretty great dream so I say go for it!
