Video

[Terra's lips curl into a warm smile as she turns on the video. Her hair is pulled back and lose green curls fall on either side of her face, framing the delicate curve of her cheek. Her smile reaches up towards her eyes and it's clear that whatever she has to say; she's very proud.]

Hello everyone, for those of you who I haven't met my name is Terra. I own a flower shop in Attleton.

[The camera shifts slightly as Terra reaches for something at her side.]

I have two announcements, first is that I want to open a second shop, however I'd need more help to do so. [She wants to spread her love of flowers and opening a second shop is best to do as spring hits it's speak.] If you want to help please let me know.

[Her smile widens slight as if arriving at her main reason for sending out this message.]

The second is that I was able to grow a very special rose. My intent at first was to make it gold but it came out a little bit different than that.

[Terra holds up a rose bud that's delicately held between two fingers. There are thorns along it's stem, tipped with a dark sea blue hue. The rose itself appears to be an off white with small tints of blue. As she spins it in her fingers small glimmers of golden light appear to emanate from it, as if by magic.]

[ooc: Feel free to run into Terra at her flower shop or carrying a basket of flowers around any of the cities or forests. It's spring so she's collecting what she can.]

Even though it isn't gold- I think it's amazing looking! That's such a great job, Terra!

[Terra feels her cheeks warm at his compliment.]

Thank you. They didn't come out as I expected but they are beautiful.

That doesn't matter- because I agree, it really is beautiful and amazing! And it's even more special because you made it, Terra.

[Terra’s lips appear to be fixed in a bright smile.]

Would you like to come see it?

[It smells like a regular rose except to those who have very sensitive noses. They will smell the same scent of magic that radiates from Terra.]

This is one stem but there is a small bush growing in the green house. [It’s in a pot because she hadn’t wanted it planted with the other roses.]

Oh yeah, I definitely want a closer look! I'll be right over, okay?

[and he stops the video here, because he is on his way to the green house!]

[Terra turns off the video as well. When Battler arrives she is sitting behind the counter, the curious flower held lightly between her fingers. Her eyes are inspecting the petals and watching as the glittery magic reflects the lighting of the store.

When the door opens a bell chimes and Terra looks up.]

[he walked into the store and he then saw her holding that flower. terra was such an interesting woman, he really did enjoy talking to her whenever he could. if only he could be his true self with her....

oh, that will all come in due time. for now, he just smiled at her.]

Terra! It's always so lovely to see you. And that's the flower....? Wow it looks so great!

I wish I could have made a golden one.

[Terra smiles at him before stepping closer to hand him the flower.]

I don't know when it will bloom or how long it will live but it is beautiful.

[Magic winks at him from within the petals, the torn's look poisonous; tipped with a dark enchanting blue.]

What do you think?

No no, it's fine, golden or not!

[with the flower in his hand he looked it over, noticing the way the magic fell from it. if he were to be honest with her, he definitely would have remarked on the sort of magic this was. until then, he would pretend to remain oblivious to the magic.]

Yeah... it's really stunning.

[battler looked from the flower to her, and then he stepped forward. he placed the flower in her hair, gently brushing his fingers against her cheek as he pulled away.] Seriously beautiful.

[...he was supposed to only be wooing weiss, but now he was definitely curious about terra. she was also someone that he wanted to mark up, to rip apart and cover in blood. it will all happen in due time.]

[Terra's cheeks warm as his fingers brush against her pale skin. She can't see the rose in place but it suits her, complimenting the mint green color of her hair. The specks of gold appear to glow brighter as the flower comes in contact with her as if they were part of the same whole.]

T-thank you.

[She replies in a soft voice, her light blue gaze glancing around for another topic. Preferably one she's more familiar with.]

Would you like some tea?

[hmm... it did compliment her very well. perhaps once his plans succeeded he will come back to terra, and have even more fun with her.

...ah, he mustn't get distracted, not now.]

Oh? ..Yeah, sure! I've love some tea. Sorry, I was staring a little.

That's alright.

[The dust of pink remains on Terra's cheeks as she turns away and begins to prepare tea. If Battler pays attention he'll notice Terra gliding her hand beneath the pot and then white wisps of steam exiting the tip of the pot. She places it on the counter and the follows it with two small cups.]

Here, this is a green tea.

[She has a few different teas.]

[he definitely notices that little bit of magic being used- but he won't say anything about it. she is trying her best to hide certain abilities of hers, it seems, he wishes he could ask about it.]

Oh, thanks so much! [he takes the tea from her now blowing on it in order to cool it down.]

[It isn't that Terra avoids talking about it but the topic never comes up. If Battler had asked, she would have told him. At least a little about her magic.]

[Her smile softens.]

I'm growing it for a friend but I want to make sure it's perfect before they try it.

[he slowly takes a sip, smiling after pulling away from the cup.]

Oh wow, yeah I really like this kind of green tea! I think you did a terrific job, Terra~! Ihihi!

[Terra's smile widens slightly. She's been growing green tea leaves for a few months now, she's happy to know she's prepared them correctly.]

I'm glad you think so.

[She pauses.]

Oh, did you want to see the rose bush?

[That her new rose came from.]

Yup! After my tea we can head over there and check it out.

[it really was good tea, even if he honestly didn't need to drink anything ever. it tasted warm, like terra had really put her all into it... and it intrigued him that he could taste terra within the tea.

what a wonderful thought.]

[Terra nods and begins to sip at her own drink.]

Okay.

[She smiles at the cup steaming in her hand, thin wisps swirling from the surface of the liquid as her breath brushes over the cup. Silence lingers between them but it isn't bad or uncomfortable. It's an easy understanding as if everything is perfectly in place. It's only as Terra finishes her tea that she speaks again.]

Do you have any plans this evening? If not you're welcome to stay for dinner.

[the longer he could stay with terra the better, honestly. he grinned at her invite.]

Absolutely! Are you making dinner~? Ihihi! Cook for me!!

I am.

[She makes dinner most nights.]

I don't know if my roommate will be home or not but it's nicer to cook for more than myself.

[he hopes the roommate will not be home.]

Whoa... then I'll definitely eat your food, I don't want to leave you alone! Since that's.... kind of sad. I'll feel really bad if I leave now.

I don't want you to feel bad.

[Terra places her empty tea cup on the counter, her lips forming into a warm smile.]

I'm never really alone.

[She has her cat and her pokemon.]

[yes.... her pets indeed.]

Hm... true, true. But what about human contact, that's what I'm talking about here....! I'm definitely eating with you tonight and that's that!

Yes.

[She honestly doesn't know what she'd do without a roommate.]

Is there something you'd like to eat?

I'm not picky at all! I'm a pretty big guy you know- I need to eat a lot, that's my only warning here!
