How do you even work this thing... is it even on??

[ The sound of a rather young, cheerful voice can be heard long before the video feed starts up, though when it does, it shows the face of a rather happy looking young woman with eyes bright and a smile on her face. ]

Oh... I guess it really IS working, isn't it.

[ She raises a hand to wave to anyone who happens to see this. ]

Hello there! I gotta say, that whole nifty hologram thing was very informative and I kinda dig it. [ Her smile falters a touch after as a thought crosses her mind and her shoulders slump for a moment afterward. ] I mean, no... i'm not really happy to be trapped somewhere again when I thought I actually got out... but there's a definite silver lining to this, you know!

[ If anything, Hina was known for being quite the optimist and now that she was out of that dreadful school, her mood was quite considerably improved. ]

If I understand everything that girl said before, there's five cities then, right? One of them's gotta have like... a gym... or even better, a pool! Please tell me there's something like that around here! [ She sounds awfully desperate there, eyes bright and eager as she addressed that and seemed to remain so until a distant grumble nearby got her attention and her tanned cheeks filled with a pink hue, even as her expression shifted to one of semi-sheepishness. ] Oh... and one more thing...

Can anyone direct me to the nearest place where they might sell donuts? I'd really appreciate it.

If it's a pool you want, my good friend runs a swimming club in Genessia called Sametobi.

Oh and the Cat's Eye cafe has very good bakers. Try there for the donuts.

[ Two of the things she'd been curious about, answered in one go? Dude, you are her favorite person right now. Her entire expression just brightens up then with an incredibly happy, stoked look on her face. ]

A swimming club?! That sounds AMAZING! I'm definitely gonna check that out right away!

[ But then there was the matter of eating and freshly baked donuts sounded even more fantastic. ]

Really~?! Okay so... I'll head there first before anything. I'm... really, really craving some of those right now. [ She was forgetting something wasn't she? ] Thank you, by the way! I really appreciate your help!

[Airy isn't much of a sports person. She knows a lot about sports and with a younger brother has been forced to play all who range of things but that doesn't mean its something she'd go out of her way to do. Which meant that she didn't know any of the gyms in Genessia. She knows they exist but that's about it.

Donuts however, those were her jam. She smiles back at the screen, it's nice to see someone so happy.]

Ah, yeah! I know this really great donut place. Nothing like old school Donut World but they have Dunkin Donuts beat. I can send you the address if you want.

You could?! That would be amazing!!

[ Asahina is legitimately thrilled about this, eyes bright with happiness and excitement. ]

I'm totally up for it so send away!

[Airy laughs and then quickly texts the address.]

It's in Genessia. It isn't to hard to find. Mind if I ask why donuts?

[ After receiving the text, she nods and looks absolutely determined now. She was a girl on a mission... and would probably run to that location on foot because a good run never hurt anyone! ]

Of course! Donuts are absolutely the best thing anyone could ask for! Sweet, warm goodness that was baked to perfection and are SOOOOO good that you can never have just one!

[ It's clear just how much she takes them seriously. Just as she does with sports. ]

[Airy laughs.]

I think so too. Do you make donuts or just love eating them?

[From her love it's clear that she should make donuts and then sell them. They would probably taste amazing.]

[Seeing such a familiar face over the feed, hearing such a familiar voice certainly caught her off guard. Especially if it was from a person you never expected to see again. Not that there was anyone she actually had expected to see again. Tnat it was the person she considered her best friend on top of that...]

[She really had no idea where to start or what to say. There was guilt for leaving her behind, but it had seemed like the only possible option back then.

Perhaps it was best to voice what she was genuinely feeling after she hadn't always been honest with her.]

Asahina, I... I'm happy to see you. You can relax, there even is a swimming club in this place.

[ Of all the people in that school, Sakura really had been her closest - and best - friend of them all and her death almost killed her inside. It hurt more than any physical wound and she'd accepted eventually, and that she'd never see her again. So naturally it takes a second for her to freeze up with eyes wide when she hears that familiar voice and sees that equally familiar face.

It was really her. Sakura was here and she was speaking to her.

For a second she wanted to say this was someone's idea of a cruel prank on her but... no imposter could replicate someone as amazing as Sakura in her eyes. This was the real one. ]

...It's... really you, Sakura.

[ Her blue eyes soon well up with tears that immediately fall down her cheeks, voice trembling and lined with hurt. She was happy, so it was easy to say that these were tears of happiness instead of the ones she'd borne during that particular trial, which had been out of pain and sadness. ]

You're really here... I'm... I'm so happy to see you, too. [ Hina then furiously tries to wipe away her tears but it's not that easy to do. ] I... would you meet up with me, then? Please tell me we can go there together!

[Seeing Asahina cry made Sakura feel even more guilty. Of course her suicide hadn't been comitted to hurt Asahina, it was more the opposite, considering how Asahina got in more and more fights over her with her classmates and made herself a potential victim. It had been her duty to right this wrong, but...

Seeing her friend so obviously hurt gave her the small moment of doubt. And yet, there was a part of her that was happy. Asahina was as genuine as always, and she showed her happiness over seeing each other again in a way Sakura wasn't used to from others. Giving Asahina an apologetic look, Sakura nodded.]

Yes, that is correct. I am sorry I had to leave you in that fashion.

[It certainly hadn't been the most elegant of ways, but at that time, she really hadn't seen any other way out of the situation.]

It would be my pleasure to go there with you. Perhaps you will even find a place to work there.

[ After Sakura's death, she'd been a woman possessed of anger and vengeance who just wanted to make everyone pay for what they'd done. Then the truth had come to light about her own involvement in that entire incident, as well as the real will of Sakura's that she'd left behind. She never once judged her friend and understood where she was coming from in the end, which made it all hurt the more.

Maybe that was why she was having trouble containing her tears as easily as she might have wanted. All her thoughts were coming back along with the happiness she was feeling at having her best friend back once again. They really did have so much to talk about. ]

N-No... Y-You don't have to apologize. I... understand why you did it... I really do.

[ She really needed a good perk-up and this would be the way to go about it, focusing on those words and the idea that she could actually work somewhere around a pool for real again. ]

Yeah! That'd be great!! It feels like forever since i've been in a pool and done something productive, and now we can do that together! [ If anything, Hina's at least starting to bounce back and focusing on all the good things coming of this whole situation. ] I can tell you everything that's happened there before I got here, too. Things kind of... got a little crazy at the end, so... yeah.

[Sakura was glad, glad that her actions were met with understanding. Asahina would have any right to be at least a little angry with her to leave her behind like she did, but... fortunately it didn't seem to be the case.]

Thank you. That means a lot to me.

[A part of her wanted to ask if Asahina found her will, or if the mastermind got their hands on it before she had a chance to read it, but she also wanted her friend to cheer up some more. And focusing on the topic of swimming was more likely to accomplish that than the one of her death.]

That is true. We can do a round of swimming together. A girl named Kou seems to be in charge of the club. It might be best to contact her for a position there.

[The last thing catches her attention, though.] At the end? Does that mean you managed to survive? [It had been a burning wish of hers, to have Asahina survive the killing school life. If she managed to do that, then there was really not much more she could ask for.]

[ Hearing the other woman say that was akin to lifting a heavy weight off of her shoulders in a way she couldn't explain. She'd been upset, vengeful and angry toward the others, but never once had she been angry at Sakura for what she'd done. Nothing in her could have mustered up that emotion toward her friend for any reason whatsoever, and hearing Sakura say that brought a sense of full-on happiness and relief. ]

You're welcome. [ She gives a nod after that, and while her happiness isn't dampened any, there's a moment of slight hesitation. ] What else could I do but understand your reasonings for what you did? You were always looking out for me, more than anyone else did, Sakura. I was always on your side til the end, you know? Still am.

[ Such was the honest truth, never resenting her friend for a single thing at all. With Sakura here - and very much alive and well - Hina was too content to bounce back better than she ever had before. ]

Great!! That's definitely a good start to go off of. I can see if I can contact her on the way to meet up with you or something... which reminds me. Just where about are you, anyway?

[ Without even blinking, she then nodded her assent to her friend's question with her smile still in place though cast her gaze elsewhere off-screen while exhaling a sigh. ] I sure did. We all ended up figuring out who the mastermind was... and would you believe it was actually Junko? [ Hina's brows drew together in a small frown, then. ] When it comes to all of us that made it to the end? It was me, Kyoko, Naegi, Toko, that jerk Togami and Hagakure.

[Sakura doesn't really understand what she did that she deserved Asahina's dedication like that, especially because she felt that Asahina was the one who had given her so much, who really made her experience friendship for the first time in her life. All she could do was trying to return the things Asahina gave to her. And looking out for her was really the least thing he could do for her.]

It is the same for me. No matter what comes, I will always be on your side.

[As long as time allows them this, at least.]

Currently, I'm at the Sand Gym. It is a rather good place for training.

[Needless to say, this was also the place she chose to work at.]

Junko? [Now that came really as a surprise. Not only she had believed her to be dead - after all, hadn't she been stabbed by Monokuma, right in front of their eyes? - but she had been one of their classmates.] But how? How is that possible? [Though the list of survivors gave her a sense of relief. That meant she really had been the last one to die.] I see. That is good to know. Then all of you managed to survive.

Someone already said Cat's Eye, but Dog's Paw in Attleton are good as well for donuts.

[He hesitates a moment, before asking.]

Trapped 'again'? You haven't been here before, have you?

[He assumes not from the way she was talking, but it's not like people making a return trip here is surprising.]

Ooh! Got it! I like that there's more than one option to choose from!

[ Her mood seems temporarily uplifted for the moment, eyes bright with the prospect of donuts but stops short afterward before shaking her head. ]

Nope! Sure haven't been here before.

[ Hina's expression then fell a bit and she looked downward briefly. ]

I know you might think it stupid but... me and my good friends... we got trapped inside this school... and, well... [ Clear hesitation and she takes a deep inhale before slowly exhaling and nodding her head. ] Let's just say that the friends that I had there with me? Half of them aren't around anymore because of the time we had to spend there.

[If there was anything he didn't want to do, it was upset her, especially a new arrival. He wasn't about to judge her previous situation either- that wasn't his place or his business, and he's looking real guilty now.]

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked. It wasn't my place.

[He has a feeling he knows what she was implying with what she said about some of them 'not being around', and if that's the case, then he sure as hell knows what that feels like. The last thing he wants is for her to dwell on it either, and switching back topics is a little awkward, but hopefully it might help?]

Oh. There's a bakery at Pan's Grocery, which is a couple of blocks south from the Bay.

[ All things considered, she knew she needed to get better at talking about that kind of thing. Even if it wasn't really easy and the thought of some of her lost friends kind of hurt, she could no longer shy away from it and a part of why she shook her head and tried to put on a smile. ]

What? Oh, no, you don't have to apologize! It's alright, I promise.

[ That and she didn't want to think about it because a part of her knew she'd end up crying again if she thought about it too long. So the change of subject is actually a very welcome thing and gives her something better to focus on. ]

Really? Then that's super close to here, then. I can totally get some donuts and then try to find that pool as soon as possible!

[Well, it's not alright that he may have brought up painful memories, but it does help to hear that anyway. He puts on a smile of his own.]

If it's the place I'm thinking of, I believe you'll want to head north of the Bay. The grocer and the pool aren't very far from each other. It won't be difficult to find.

[He's passed the swim club a few times just on walks around the city. He might have to consider stopping by there one of these days as well... when he's not overworking himself on everything else.]

I know you're trying to talk about other things but-.... what do you mean again? Has this happened to you before? [that is extremely unsettling to her.]

There must be a pool, there's some guys who have a club for it or something around here. If you're going, maybe I will too. Didn't want to go if it was gonna be all guys- you know?

[ Oh Kirino. If only you had even a remote idea of how unsettling things had been in that school. Hina's expression fell a little at that, but she still nodded in assent to the other girl's question. ]

Y-Yeah, quite recently, actually. As in... me and what's left of my friends were heading out of the school at last and then I woke up here.

[ A pool and the promise of a club?! Sign her up for that at once! Her mood perks up with her eyes bright and looking overall quite delighted now. ]

I totally know what you mean! I'd love to have another girl come with me when I go there, so that would be awesome!

Oh. Sounds like you were almost out of all this... weird stuff. [she wants to ask about the 'rest of my friends' part... but she also feels like she shouldn't. that just sounded rather ominous.]

I-I'm just not a big swimmer or anything alright? I'm on the track team, so running is my main sport, but I guess I can be a little more active in other ways besides just running.

Pretty much, yeah. I mean, hey, I'm bummed about being trapped somewhere again but this place is something I can totally get used to!

[ As always, she's being an optimist here about everything, and doesn't even remotely look put off by the girl's mention of being on the track team. If anything, she looks even more excited by the news which meant that there'd be no stopping her now. ]

That's totally okay! I'm flexible in most sports, being that I was in about six of them when I was back in school. [ Spoken without any shame or hesitation. ] So that means if you wanna join me for swimming, I can take a run with you sometime. How about that?

Nice to meet you, Kirino! I'm Aoi Asahina, but if you want, feel free to just call me Hina if that's easier.

At least you can get excited about it- I'm still not sure about this place at all.

[wait- kirino suddenly is extremely surprised.] Hahh?! Six- really?! How can you even keep up with that many?! I mean, on top of school and my job, I just had enough time for one club!

[is asahina some sort of sports addict?!] ....Alright, why not, I'll call you Hina then.

[Sena stares at the video in surprise. This girl had just come, and she was already this okay? Sena hadn't been idle, despite her first appearance suggesting she would be just that, but she still thought about getting home. Gym? Donuts? None of that was on her mind.

How? How was she this okay already?

But again?]

Huh? You make it sound like you get kidnapped all the time.

[ That sort of comment is enough to make her blink a couple of times before shaking her head. She just happened to be able to bounce back quickly from most situations, and this was no different, but it didn't mean that she didn't want to go home by any means. ]

Sorry about that. This is actually the second time, but I gotta say, it's WAY better than where I was before.

[Sena really is the opposite.]

Then it was some weird place then? Was it a dungeon? You don't really look like somebody from a dungeon. Something else weird, then?

There is a pool I help out at and as for donuts I could show you ll of the pretty cool places I go to.
