[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Fayren Unearthed: Sea Voyage
A group of fishermen in Fayren were out looking for yesterday’s catch when they came across a glowing spot in the sea. A fisherman ventured into the water to find out what it was, only to discover underwater ruins! The fact that they are underwater doesn’t seem to be a hindrance, since when the fisherman swam closer to the ruins, he found himself able to stand and breathe as if he was above water. He sighted seeing some robed figures there as well, but later recanted saying they are just shadows.
Some magic seems to permeates through the underwater ruins that forms an almost bubble like sphere around it. It has an odd effect on non-aquatic life forms. When you step into its confines, you are able to walk and move through the area as if you were on land. However, sea creatures seem unaffected by it, meaning that they have high maneuverability within the ruins. So be careful should you venture to the place. Elemental abilities related to fire also seem to not work within the ruins. While water abilities are two times as powerful.
Historians are speculating that the ruins may have belonged to an ancient race of mages that made that place their home. To reach the place, a ship is needed, as transportation magic and other means of travel seem ineffectual in reaching the place. A trip to the ruins will take at least two hours back and forth. A captain has volunteered his ship to transport people to and from the ruins for a price, but privately owned ships are expected to be seen making the trip as well.
Ongoings In Fayren
A lot has progressed in Fayren as of late. A security force of dolls have been dispatched to protect Fayren under the authority of the Gurdian. The puppeteer of the dolls seem to be a woman by the name of Alice Margatroid. While not all of the residents in Fayren are pleased by this new development, the dolls have decreased the number of small crimes. Purse snatches have been apprehended before they could make away with stolen goods and brawls have been stopped before they can escalate to physical violence.
The implementation of the force seems to be in response to the threat that the Hands of Decay pose to Fayren and its Mages. How they will be able to handle their threat is anyone’s guess. Speaking of them, papers have begun appearing in Fayren baring the name of the group. It’s unknown if the group themselves are posting them up or if some supporters in Fayren have taken it upon themselves to mock up and paste up the image.
We have also taken the liberty of conduction several interviews with people that have had run ins or are currently combating the group. The Deputy Guardian Mewtwo, Lucy Heartfilia, Levy McGarden, Sun Wukong, Natsu Dragneel, Azalea, Mavis Vermillion and Zeref. We are unsure what Zeref’s last name is, as he declined to give one. If anyone is aware of what it may be, please contact the paper with it so he may be credited properly in future papers.

Crescent Crusader Cracks Down on Crime
Since the night of the 11th, sightings have been reported of a black and silver phantom swooping down on local miscreants. From muggers on Yew to gangbangers along Aspen, no wrongdoer appears to be safe from what seems to be a one-man crusade on crime. While eyewitnesses have given him names ranging from "The Shroud" to "Baghead", one in particular has stood out for the Tribune. According to would-be kidnap victim Harriet Mitra, 34:
"They never pushed me into that van. 'Cuz he came down from the sky like a white knight in the moonlight and beat the living [redacted] out of them." The cowled cavalier then left a crescent-shaped throwing blade at the scene, which was found by responding police.
It is currently unknown if the mysterious Moon Knight is acting on his own initiative or is on the force's payroll. We'll keep you posted for further updates on Genessia's newest hero - or menace.
Starland Incident
On April 22nd, the Starland Apartment building was the sight of a bombing. Investigations are still underway to find out who is behind the bombings and why. People speculate that the Red Claw could be behind this incident, as they have been at odds with the Aster Tech CEO for some time. It was him that helped fund Starland apartments.
Red Claw hasn’t spoke on the incident and the Aster Tech CEO hasn’t said much either, other than he is sorry for the loss of life that occurred. It’s expected that Aster Tech will investigate this incident to find out if this was done by the terrorist group or someone else with a grudge. While not every resident was killed in the bombing, some were still out, over 40 lost their lives as a result. But the tally has not been finalized yet.

Night Prowler: A man has been spotted around Nova City at night dressed in all black. He has been unjustly killing criminals for the smallest crimes, even littering. He’s doing more harm than good, so a level 3 payment is being offered for anyone that can bring him in.

Baptism by Fire: A mage capable of using fire has been burning people alive in their homes at all times of the day. A level 2 payment is being offered for anyone that can bring him in.
Fayren
Chambers & Wyverns Pt 3 (Sea Voyage): A new ruin has been discovered in the sea Fayren. They have been named the Trawle rRuins. Like the last ruin, this one is filled with monsters (though no one knows what kinds) and also messes with travel magic. There are a number of treasures inside and possibly yet unknown dangers. Archaeologist and Merchants are offering up money for items recovered from the ruins. Unlike the last ones, this one is only reachable exclusively by boat. Any other attempts to reach It will end up with the person returning right back to the Fayren docks.
Special Bounty Note: There is no limit to how many people can accept this bounty. Everyone is welcomed to go alone or form a party. There is no level payment for this, instead those that post here accepting it will be given a randomized item that will be found during their exploration (For parties, each member will receive an item). The item can be sold to a peddler or archaeologist for a payment level between 1 – 5 or be kept instead of sold. An open log can be found here, but people are welcomed to make their own logs for it.

Overdose: Someone with access to medical grade sedatives has been using it to kill people via overdose. Where they are getting access to the medicine is unknown and what their motives are isn’t clear either. But a level 3 payment is being offered to anyone that can bring them in.
