[Action at the Bay]
[He's alone. Haru wakes up to the sound of gently lulling water. It should put him at ease, but it's nothing like the water he has known before. It sounds different, smells different, and when he scrambles out of the pod, feeling trapped, it even feels different against his skin. He flops in the water and just lies there for a moment, soaking it in. Lifting his head up, he scans around for anyone he knows.]

Makoto?

[No answer. He calls out the names of his friends, sounding increasingly panicked each time. He doesn't know what to do. His eyes catch the box and he opens it, hoping there will be answers or mackerel or something he can use. His fingers brush over the videophone and he turns it on, before shoving everything to the side. He gives up. He removes his outfit until all that's left is his jammers and lets himself fall back into the water, unwilling to move or see what's outside.]

[Video]
[There is a view of the cavern ceiling, along with the sound of breathing before there's a glimpse of panicked blue eyes and Haru's face. He quickly turns away, ignoring the video, and the splash of water can be heard. The video continues to play for a few minutes before timing out.]

[Just from the video it's easy to figure out where Nanase was and what he was doing. So instead of even trying to reply there, Sousuke excused himself from work for an hour and went straight to the Bay.]

[It's all he has to say about this situation once he comes to the Bay and sees Nanase swimming like he thought he would. Oh boy.]

[The water shields him from the harsh world, but he has to look up and breathe eventually. When his eyes catch Sousuke, he does pause, even if his expression doesn't shift. He floats on his back, eyes on the ceiling and finally asks.]

What are you doing here?

I'm watching an idiot floating in strange water.

[Obviously.]

So, are you going to get up from there?

...It feels different.

[But if this is a dream, it's just dream water. Just like dream Sousuke is here. He'll just accept it until it's over. At least it wasn't a nightmare. Even if it puts him on edge a little.]

No.

[What kind of an answer is 'no'? Sousuke sighs before walking to the water himself and trying to catch ~~a dolphin~~ Haru to pick him up on his (healthier) shoulder.]

[Like the tide, Haru doesn't struggle. He lets Sousuke take him to whatever he's meant to see now, outwardly calm as his heart beats rapidly against his chest in his attempts to stick to his belief that none of this is real.]

What is it you're supposed to show me?

[If this was a dream, he might quote Rin by saying 'A sight you've never seen before', but this is definitely not one so you get silence. It's not very far that they walk to and enter a building (the sign says Sametobi SC).

Ignoring the various gazes of the customers, Sousuke walks to one of the pools that isn't currently used by anyone and drops his delivery there.]

[Dream Sousuke is quiet, so at least he's not doing anything bizarre.

The smell of chlorine hits him, along with the familiar sounds of swimmers doing laps or stretching. But it's still surreal, until he finds himself without anything to hold onto in the air, and suddenly he's surrounded by water.

This isn't a dream. But he can't contain his joy or desire to swim freely in the water, feeling less displaced than before.]

[Nagisa was currently covered head to foot in various sticky substances that were mostly to do with candy when he picked up the device, looking a little bit hopeful. He was sure it was him.]

Haru-chan! Is that you?

[he paused for a moment.]

Don't think you can swim in the Bay though if you are there.

[Haru's response is probably later. Much later. He probably had to be coaxed into using his phone because he didn't see the point in it, it's not like he expected anyone to be here. But when he does, his eyes seem to calm, even if he doesn't fully comprehend it.]

Nagisa. [What is that substance on you.] You're here, too.

There aren't any boats.

I am. Been here for a while.

[He laughed slightly for a moment.]

No there aren't boats in the water here, but there are pools. One at the club and one where Sou-chan, Gou-chan, Rin-chan and myself live.

[He didn't notice at first, but Nagisa does look a little different. The question rests on the tip of his tongue, and he looks to the side, unsure of what to say.

There's a flash of surprise, but with him averting his gaze it's hard to notice.]

You live at a pool?

[He could have asked a normal question like how that was possible since it hadn't been long since he saw them. But the pool is much more important.]

I don't live at a pool. We live in a house where there is a pool though. My room is right next to it, so I open the door and I'm there.

[Well the main door facing onto it anyway. It wasn't his only door.]

Are you okay?

[Levy doesn't know who it is but she knows the cavern of the bay.]

[It's hours later when Haru answers. His expression may not change much, but there's a hint of unease when he answers.]

I don't know.

This isn't a dream.

It isn't... I'm sorry.

[She wishes she had better news.]

[No use in dwelling on it. Even if it deeply bothers him and he can't make sense of it.]

Are there any pools?

[Levy's lips form into a warm smile.]

Yup! I know Nagisa swims.

[Mostly because she fell into the pool when he was swimming.]

I think there are beaches and pools in other places besides Genessia too. I guess you like water?

You know Nagisa?

[He's glad he's still swimming. Something in his expression softens. There's a fond glow in his eyes.]

I do. [It almost sounds like he's proposing to the water.

A beat.]

I'm Haruka Nanase.

[Levy laughs.]

I do. We're good friends. It's nice to meet you Haruka.

[She can tell he likes swimming.]

Are you as good of a swimmer as Nagisa?

[Gou was actually just heading off to work when she happen to pass by. She didn't hear the other names right away but stopped a little past the Bay hearing her name.]

Huh? Did someone call for me?

[Deciding to look inside, there was Haru...]

Haruka-senpai...? Did you just get here?
