Cinder VS The World
WHO: Weiss Schnee, Cinder Fall, Roman Torchwick, Neo, Flynt Coal, Troy Dantes, Ruby Rose, Jaune Arc, Satsuki Kiryuin, Sun Wukong, Athrun Zala, Artanis, Levy McGarden, Levi Ackerman, OTA for "Visitation" portion
WHAT: Catching Cinder aka this plan is goin' down.
WHEN: May 16th (Cinder goes down), May 17th (Hospital and prison scenes)
WHERE: Nova City (Beacon Academy subarchway + electric company) > Everglade (Hospital) > Genessia City (David's prison)
WARNINGS: Violence, sedation, prison time, crime, justice.
Nova City seemed armed to the teeth when it came to one subarchway in particular. The gateway to Beacon Academy almost looked like it was facing a robotic military invasion with how many of the robot police were stationed there. Despite that her “public announcement” had been filtered away from Cinder’s party, it wasn’t hard to discover that ever since Emerald’s alleged revealing of truths, whatever Ozpin had told the City Guardian and others from Remnant had resulted in her making what appeared to be a strong show of force to keep enemies out of the Beacon subarchway, which seemed to still be in the pristine state it had been before its Fall in their world.
What most seemed to think were desperate attempts to hold the criminals from her world on a short leash by granting clemency to Mercury Black, Roman Torchwick, and Neopolitan, Weiss had essentially convinced the world except for those in her inner circle that these criminals were walking away without any price to pay beyond not committing future crimes. One of those names were what she had really prized in this gamble, though, and he would be the one to finally make sure that Cinder got the idea in her head that that power she sought back on Remnant was here, was available and she could have even more of it. If Ozpin didn’t believe it was possible, after all, there would be no need for such precautions at the archway.
It was finally time for the moment of truth- whether Weiss was going to win this game of chess or if they would fall at Cinder’s heels yet again.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Who does she think she is? No one tells Cinder Fall to get their permission for anything, especially if it's about power and (more) power that belongs to the Fall. Maybe she thinks she's some important person here what with having made a name for herself but clearly someone should return her back to the damn ground.
Cinder remembers Ozpin telling her, that she will be overpowered here but... Honestly, Cinder either doesn't care or she doesn't believe it -- probably both and this can be a test. She doesn't take Mercury and Emerald with her, calling it a plan B in case anything goes wrong. Not that she's expecting that to happen but there's also a plan C.
Roman and Neo on the other hand get orders to make a distraction somewhere else while Cinder arrives here alone. If they get in trouble or worse, caught, it's not Cinder's problem and she'll be too busy here to help them.
She smirks at the sight of the robots, sending some explosive fire at two of them as soon as they see the witch before she starts walking toward the subarchway. She's looking confident as ever as she sees no reason not to stay that way.
Well, looks like they might take this a little seriously after all but overpowering Cinder Fall? Please, as if they even have any idea of what they're dealing with.
SUB-THREADS
Distraction Team - Roman, Neo, long-distance communication cameos with Cinder and Weiss
Teamspeak - After Cinder goes down, Weiss will make an "open chat" of sorts for everyone to get in their positions. This is a voice-thread.
Prisoner Transportation Team - Jaune Arc, Satsuki Kiryuin. Cinder will end up with these two, so congrats on your thread and dealing with Cinder face-to-face while she's unconscious! If you have a partner you want to thread waiting around until someone reports they have Cinder, you're welcome to make your own thread here too!
Visiting the Prisoner - Open. Weiss will want to talk with Cinder when she wakes up, but beyond that anyone is welcome to "visit" via hologram. (Prison info.)

He could be so much more straightforward about his intentions, too. If he were trying to blow up the power plant before, he would really have to work to smuggle in explosives. Now he can fill a hovercar with assorted flares, fireworks, and smoke bombs, and just drive right in.
"Stop at the security checkpoint," he instructed Neo from the passenger's seat. "They're expecting us, but let's make sure they really understand that they can't disrupt our work."
Teamspeak
I closed Beacon Academy. I need everyone at their hospitals right away. This is finally happening, everyone, and I'd prefer it if we got this under wraps without any living collateral damage.

Literally this. ]
On the way as we speak. Let's get this done.

Levy - Teamspeak
[She sounds very chipper for someone who's positioned outside of a hospital.]
no subject
On it. I'll be in position within the hour.
[Fortunately, the good thing about a sandwich is that it's easy to just pick up and go. He dives into the fridge to grab a can of soda first, then leaves. Next stop: the hospital in Fayren.]
Prisoner Transportation Team
Before Cinder's Arrival
Best to be prepared, and standing around one spot for a lengthy amount of time isn't anything new for her. So here she is, but rather than standing still Satsuki paces in the lobby, muttering to herself as she waits.]
no subject
It's difficult with the hospital walls and the harsh lighting. He hasn't put his weapon down since he arrived, and he keeps casting paranoid glances over his shoulder, finding it increasingly hard not to kick something.]
no subject
The bad news is, she isn't exactly an expert at small talk. But, she figures if she gets the ball rolling, he can carry it from there.]
Did you know that two terms ago Cinder ran for Guardian of Nova City? [She asks while looking off to the side.] I was her opponent at the time. I had no intention of losing, but I was interested in her and wanted her as a Deputy.
You could imagine my surprise once Weiss released the information she did.
no subject
I'm glad you beat her. You seem like a good person. You kind of remind me of Weiss.
no subject
[She then glances to the side. It's obvious to her why she could be compared to Weiss, but would rather not comment on that part. At least for now.]
Thank you, I suppose. One of your associates, Wukong, does not share your opinion. For fair reason, I suppose, but I am a little surprised he has yet to tell you about it.
no subject
Why not? You seem pretty okay to me. [And Sun's never struck him as someone easy to anger, so whatever happened must have either been serious or hit too close to home.]
no subject
[Sensing it may be a wiser idea not to continue on the subject of Cinder, at least for now, she moves on to the next question.]
I did not view him as an equal and treated him as such.
However after I met you, I have come to the conclusion I should at least make an attempt to salvage things. Perhaps this is not the best time to be bringing this up, but I could use your assistance.
no subject
[There's a hint of admiration, or respect, in his voice before the subject is dropped. There's a flash of understanding. He never saw it himself, but he can think of why that might bother him. Worrying his lip, he goes quiet before asking.]
Have you tried talking to him yet?
no subject
I have not. The problem lies in that, while I have come to accept I have made an error, I also do not want to appear any more foolish.
[If he couldn't already tell, Satsuki cares a bit too much about her pride.]
no subject
[students at Beacon have more of a tendency to be blunt. he continues on.] And even if you're sincere, he still might not accept it. I don't know because I'm not Sun. But if you really mean it, do you think it's worth it? Just...say what you said to me, maybe with an 'I'm sorry'. You're not used to apologizing to anyone, are you?
no subject
There is not the slightest bit of doubt that he will not accept it because he does not trust me. [She glances off to the side, and starts to look annoyed.]
I suppose I should start from the beginning. When I first arrived in Genessia, I attempted to conquer the education system here- The idea was not well received, and Wukong was one of the particulars that voiced them and I said some particularly unpleasant things. I have made decisions after that he hadn't agreed with either.
During my third campaign as Guardian he unveiled information to the public that.. Did not help my campaign and I attempted to humiliate him in return. It was Lady Schnee that put a stop to it and suggested that we both apologize, but he has yet to approach me since.
[She shakes her head.]
I have decided I want to put this behind me. I know it is irrational, but the mere idea of him not accepting my apology is absolutely infuriating. So, no, I do not particularly see this scenario as 'worth it'.
What would you do in my situation?
no subject
I'd probably just try to move on. You can't be friends with everyone, and there are some battles you can't win. There are some people I wouldn't forgive, even if they apologized...
And if Sun doesn't want to accept your apology, you can't force him to. Just try to recognize you both did something wrong, but also try not to make those same mistakes with someone else. I don't know.
no subject
Probably the last thing she wanted to hear really and Satsuki's frown only increases.]
I.. [Beat.] Suppose I cannot. Still, I appreciate your assistance and if you find yourself in want of my own one day, you need only ask, Arc.
If we could keep this conversation between us, that would also be appreciated.
Meanwhile, in Nova City...
And at the moment, he's simply waiting with Weiss, meditating on and off. After emerging from a brief trance, he opens his eyes and looks over at his employer.]
Do you know how long it should take for our quarry to appear?
Re: Meanwhile, in Nova City...
[ Weiss was well aware that there tended to be a greatly.. varied wait time for death recovery. It was typically around 1-5 days, but she's seen it go as long as a month in very few special exceptions. She was hoping it would be quick. She had faith that Cinder was the type of person who wouldn't be indecisive about what price she wanted to pay to come back. No one indecisive or hesitant could've done what she did.
Weiss seems to be texting on her phone while Artanis meditates, occasionally having conversations with someone, but mostly just serving to make Artanis look even taller with how she only breaks 5 feet because of her heels. ]
Visitation
no subject
...And given the height of the average Protoss, it's probably a comical scene to see a woman as short as Cinder before one. Artanis is seven feet tall, and displays a commanding posture -- further cemented by the ornate armor he wears. Cinder may also find his lack of facial features barring a pair of glowing blue eyes off-putting. He's very clearly not even remotely human, though if she had been paying attention to politics, she'd know that he is a member of an alien race of powerful psionic warriors.]
And now I finally get to speak to the person who has brought so much cause for concern.
[He can't help but wonder -- even hope -- that Cinder will display some of her power here. Ever since Weiss's warning, he's been curious to see how strong she really is. Like any Protoss warrior, he can't help but relish the opportunity to test his strength, or at least estimate how he'd measure up.]
