7th Book | Text/Action

To anyone who wanted to explore the sub archways with me,

I am planning on going to the Paris one in Attleton today if you still want to come. It can be just the two of us or if you want to go in a group then we can. Just let me know the time you will arrive and I will plan what we do.

[Belle could be found sitting on a near by bench, hands wrapped around a book that she was currently reading. ell if one was going to wait one might as well read, right?]

I kind of want to see the Louvre. If that is okay?

[She smiled slightly, she had wanted to make sure he would have fun as well. She didn't want to be the only one after all.]

[Toby doesn't know what that is so he nods and gestures for her to lead onward.]

[He's memorizing where they are going so they can find their way back but he doesn't know the way there.]

[Belle wasn't fully sure about where they were heading, but she had a map she was sure they could use to figure it out. Taking a look at it she continued to walk, dodging people quite easily without looking up.]

I believe we are close. Just find a giant glass pyramid.

[Toby nods his head and begins looking around. He doesn’t dodge people but walk through them. Glass pyramid gives him something to look for and lucky for Belle he knows what both glass and a pyramid shape look like. He follows behind her, his hands pushed into the pockets of his leather jacket as he looks out.

Eventually he sees a large cement like park and near the far end is what looks like a glass pyramid.]

That it?

[He asks, nodding his head towards the large obstruction so she’d look up from her map.]

[She glanced up for a moment before nodding and moving to put the map away into her bag for the time being. It was needed for now anyway.]

That is it. Though I will warn you this is where we can look at art so if it isn't you think you can always do something else.

[Toby rolls his shoulders in a shrug.]

I don't care.

[Which is true, he came to see things but also to keep Belle company. The guard dog in him won't let himself just leave her alone.]

[She nodded slightly. He said he didn't care, but she couldn't say for sure. But she heads on in regardless. She didn't know which way to go, but she looks around, taking a long ponder on some of the paintings.]

The painting are interesting, aren't they?

[He follows behind her like a large shadow. His hands remain in his pockets and his expression doesn't change. He doesn't hate art, he just doesn't understand how people can spend so much time on it. His life doesn't really give him a good perspective on normal everyday things.]

How so?

[Toby's tone is soft, as if feeling the need to whisper in the museum. He looks at the paintings and see's people and faces and life. It's not the sort of life he's familiar with. He knows storms and blood and death.]

I guess since you aren't the artsy type, I won't really go into detail but most paintings always come from some type of source of impression and you can tell a bit about the person from it.

[At least that was how she saw it as she went to the next painting.]

What can you tell about this one.

[He nods at the painting that Belle is currently looking at.]

Well, I can tell you that the strokes to the painting were light and gentle, which means they are probably not someone to anger easily.

[She laughed slightly.]

Okay, I can't say I am an expert when it comes to paintings, but you feel like you know something about them.

The person or the painting?

[He is trying to make sense of what she's saying but he never really got art.]

The person who painted it.

[She started to walk onto the next one, taking a look.]

At least what's what I think. Makes me want to paint something at least once.

[Toby follows, not completely unlike a puppy.]

Why don't you?

I don't know. For all I know I could be bad at painting. But it is meant to be relaxing.

You won't know unless you try.

[His tone is surprisingly soft, as if speaking to a family member.]

I'd like to see it.

[He runs his hand through his hair before glancing at the next painting.]

[She smiled slightly before she started to walk to take a look at the next painting.]

Then I'll let you know when I do paint.

[She moved onto the next her, her hands lightly in front of her. She was enjoying herself as soon she could hear her stomach.]

Ah, I guess I'm starting to get hungry.

[Toby really is looking forward to see anything that Belle paints though he'll drop the subject in favor for food.]

What do you want to eat?

[He's always hungry so he can always eat.]

I don't know, I'm curious to know what they have in the Paris subarchway.

[She had started to make her way out so that they could find a place to eat. She just didn't know where the closest place was.]

[Toby nods and silently hopes he doesn't have to speak french to get food.]

What is French food?

[His father owned a dinner so he doesn't know.]

Well hopefully we find out.

[As they walked and left, she looked around, soon spotting a resturant as she walked to it.]

We'll try this place.

[The whole way Toby is seriously trying to remember what counts as French food. He knows bread, right? But pasta is Italian and his father owned a dinner! They had a little bit of everything so why can't he figure this out.

He follows her into the restaurant getting a few stare's due to his height and size.]

Sounds good.

[He waves at a table and then waits for Belle to take her seat first.]

[They had been shown to the table as Belle pulled out her chair taking a seat and looking at the menu.]

Well.. I know one thing I might not try. Snails. Not quite sure why that is a thing.

[Toby has eaten a lot of weird things so he just shrugs.]

Try it.

I'll get. [He looks at the menu and realizes that he doesn't know French.]

... whatever you get.

Can you not read the menu?

[She peeked up from behind hers to try and figure it out by looking at the others face.]
