[Action/Accidental Audio] - Dreaming Memory

[Elize was taking a nice, restful nap at the apartment she lives with her Rieze Maxian friends...and Ludger. She was soundly dreaming until she began to stir. Rolling over in her bed to turn on a lamp, she accidentally hits her communication device, turning it onto a public feed, but audio only. When she sits up in her bed, Teepo boings up awake too.]

[Action, voice picked up and on public broadcast]

"Teepo? I think I remember something. When we were in Kanbalar."

[With an exaggerated gasp, Teepo smiles.]

"I remember, too! Let's try it on three! One, two..."

[Elize inhaled, then posed in her bed like she was performing a opera on a stage for thousands of adoring fans. She began singing off-key, unaware that everything she was saying or singing was public thanks to the communication device that she accidentally turned on.]

"I snowed last night~♪ It snowed last night~♪ Milla and the Four had a pil-low fight~♪"

"Sylph tore up all the clouds in sight~♪ Rained down all the feathers white~♪"

[It seems that's all they have as they stopped singing.]

"...Maybe we should put on a show, Teepo."

"Totally!"

[She'd liked it.]

[Hearing a voice when they were alone sent a terrifying chill down her spine, and Teepo reacted the most strongly for Elize. He sprung up into the air, flailing his little potato-shaped body around as he screamed.]

"AAAAAHH!!! A ghost! It's a ghost! Somebody call the Spectre Sweepers!!"

[As soon as Teepo quieted down a bit, Elize was still searching for where the voice came from, so she tried to get it to happen again.]

"I-Is there someone who can hear me?"

It isn't a ghost! It's just me...

[Airy feels bad now.]

Your phone is on.

"What...?"

[There sounds of the sheets ruffling and the device being picked up.]

"O-Oh... So it is..."

"Is that really you, Airy? I haven't heard from you in awhile."

Ah, yeah. Sorry about that. I guess you hadn't known that you recorded that. It did sound very nice though!

[She doesn't want her to get embarrassed, not that Airy's words will really help.]

I've been doing well, a lot better. At least I'm all healed up now. I've started writing though I'm not being paid for it or anything. It's been fun, I didn't realize I liked it until I started.

What have you been up too?

[Elize thinks she wrote a good song, but she is not sure about her singing voice.]

"You're writing now? Is it okay if I read some of your writing some time?"

[She was almost tempted to give Airy a pop quiz, but she isn't Rieze Maxian, so she won't know the answer. That would be unfair. Instead, she just moved on.]

"I'm helping my friends decorate our apartment. I think it's really starting to come together nicely."

Ah... you can if you want. I wrote some cute short stories that I've named the Bunny chronicles. [They are as silly as they sound.]

Other than that it's been stage plays and a really bad story...

[Airy smiles.]

That sounds awesome! I recently painted my room purple.

"Bunnies are cute. I'd love to read it when I get the chance.

And purple is a nice color." [Elize wears a lot of purple.] "If I had my own room, I'd paint it pink. I have to live like a professional pinkist, after all."

[Not necessarily wear mostly pink all the time, though.]

I can show you! It's all just written up right now. I need to draw pictures of bunnies before I try and publish it...

[Purple is one of Airy's favorite colors.]

You don't have your own room? Where do you live? Maybe we can find some pink posters.

"I live in the Oak Gardens apartments in Fayren with my friends. And yes, let's go shopping for home decorations some time."

Isn't Fayren sort of creepy with those dolls everywhere?

[Airy stays to Genessia mostly.]

[Elize was aware of the dolls, but to her, there were not that different from Teepo in terms of how they move. The only difference is Teepo is Teepo.]

"Ya gotta problem with dolls, Airy?"

No Teepo. I have a problem with dolls that are controlled by one person and more or less act as camera's.

[It isn't like they are like Teepo. They don't have his soul.]

Don't you find it weird? Like they don't talk to you but they watch you. [She doesn't want Teepo to think she dislikes him.]

"I really don't know what to think if them... Wouldn't living guards usually do the same, though?"

Well yeah but that's a bunch of people.

[Airy doesn't know if she can explain.]

One person is like... I don't know a stalker?

"No, what I meant was.... The guards who stand outside of inns and on street corners? They watch people and don't talk unless they have to..."

Oh, you don't talk to them?

[Airy sounds surprised.]

It's true they can't talk for long but they are very nice.

[It doesn't help that Airy is talkative and personable as all get out.]

"Talk? To the dolls?

...No, Teepo is special. He's the only doll that talks back."

[She wont mention the time she was kidnapped, along with Milla and Driselle, by soldiers once.]

No not the dolls, the guards.

[The dolls don't talk back.]

"Oh... I don't talk to guards because I don't want to distract them."

That's... very true.

[Well now she feels like jerk.]

[ludger had been polishing up his pistols in his room, his door slightly open so he would be able to hear the others. that's when he heard the faint sound of elize singing... and he was reminded of when she sang her song in hamil as well. of course, she wouldn't remember any of that.

ludger stood and walked out into the living room, spotting elize and teepo.]

That was a great song. One of your hobbies?

[Elize had only gotten out of bed, so she was still in her pajamas.]

"Um, yeah. I'll sing sometimes."

"And pop quizzes~"

Oh?

[now he was interested for sure.] Can I hear one of your pop quizzes?

"Oh, um... okay."

[Unprepared princess-type is unprepared.]

"Got one! Um... In what town was Jude born in?"

[She's testing how well you know your amigos, Ludger!!]

[HAH! this one is easy.]

Leronde.

"That's right! Ready for round two?"

Lay it on me!

"Let's see now..."

[Elize peered around for inspiration of a quiz.]

"Here. Who do I think is the nicest person ever?"

Huh...!?

[THAT'S SUCH A HARD AND PERSONAL QUESTION.... but he'll say the first thing that popped into his head.]

Uh... Milla?

"That was a trick question~"

[Elize smiles and winks at Ludger.]

"I think all of you are the nicest people."

[So you are not wrong, Ludger.]

Ah.... so mean.

[ludger groaned a little, lowering his head.] Trick questions always get me.
