[OOC: If you would like your character to run for a city guardian position, make sure you read the FAQ information. After that, your character needs to reply to this post to indicate their intent of running. Characters may nominate another person to be a guardian, but unless the nomination is accepted with an official acceptance comment, they will not be included in the vote. If you have any questions, contact a mod ASAP! Characters who win the election will hold the position from July 1st to December 31st. Campaign period lasts from the 7th to the 20th. Polls will be open from June 20th-26th. Nominations close on Tuesday, June 7th. 11:59PM EST.]
City Guardian nominations are now open.
Current Guardians and newcomers are welcome to run. Current Guardians will continue their positions until the election process is complete. In the case of more than one guardian seeking nomination, a vote will be held. Anyone else seeking candidacy must reply to this message by Tuesday, June 7th. If only one candidate's name is submitted, no vote will be necessary and duties may be assumed immediately at the end of the election period.
Current Guardians and their deputy teams who are not re-elected will be given a severance package that will last 1 month from the day they leave office to assist in the transition to a new job position.
