I can't believe I have to say this, but since there's nothing stopping people who have committed murder here from running for City Guardian, apparently I do. You shouldn't vote for actual murderers like Reiner Braun and Roman Torchwick unless you like the idea of trusting an entire city to someone who either admits they murdered someone and does a bad job of even showing any regret or someone who's questionably claiming they're redeemed after...a few weeks? Even if he does claim he's trying to make up for his mistakes, you don't just suddenly lose all of your bad habits like criminal acts in a short amount of time and try to take on that kind of position without an ulterior motive.

This whole thing is stupid. It's stupid. I'm done talking about it. Just...if you want to know more about the crimes they committed while they were here, I can answer your questions. I doubt I'll convince other murderers unless they want the position for themselves.

[Probably. He starts off okay, but when he lunges in a stabbing motion, the weight of his sword, pulled by the gravity, messes up his balance and he flies into the glyph, screaming a really shitty battle cry as he lands with his butt in the air and his face only just missing his sword.]

What just happened?

[ Weiss cringes slightly, at least this time going and offering a hand to help him up. ]

I told you to compensate for your sword's weight. The gravity glyph is going to increase it substantially. Are you okay?

[ She can't check his aura, he's not on her team. ~~If that's even how that works.~~ ]

I'm fine. [He takes her hand, wincing as he gets up. The fall hurt, and his aura's been diminished, but he's been practicing at trying to use it more, so it's not as low as it could be.

That, and he's used to getting hurt thanks to being...himself.]

I tried to stab too fast and that messed me up. I'll get it right this time.

Don't forget that it's going to feel different again when you have an actual target to run your sword through. Practicing the different balances will still help you compensate for terrain, though, in case we have to fight somewhere that isn't a flat park.

[ let's go again, Jaune.. She's already getting into position. ]

So should I...pretend it's different terrains too? Maybe jump when I get closer to the last glyph as if we're fighting on a hill?

Sure. [He won't. And he's in position.]

Don't worry about different terrains yet! I only said that to let you know why it's important to practice balance. Once we get it on flat ground we can worry about terrain adaptation.

[ Seriously if he starts messing around she's gonna gravity glyph him to the ground.

[He tries not to look concerned, it isn't like they've failed yet.] Then let's practice until it's perfect.

I wish we could figure out how to link our Aura to our Genessia devices.

[ It'd be so much easier to keep track of that way. Alas, Weiss is not a tech wizard. Her family deals in dust, not programming.
