[Later on, while Sinbad’s catching his breath from taking in everything he’s seen so far, he’ll take to fiddling around with the walkie-talkie-- or was it videophone? Ah heck, he’ll figure out which one was correct later on.

It only lasts for a few minutes, but there’s some jumbled letters that appear while he tests out the texting, some static and button-pressing sounds when he shifts to audio, and then finally-]

Woah, is it working? Can anyone really see this?? [He waves his hand wildly at the screen and gives a bright smile.] If you can, hello there!!

[Karla cries out as someone very roughly bumps into her, causing her to stumble back against a wall. She looks at him, noting the apology. He was running rather recklessly, so it's easy to see it was an accident.]
