NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Guardian Elections
Voting time for Guardians is rapidly approaching. This Monday, the polls for voting will officially open up, and everyone is encouraged to vote for who they feel is best suited for the role of Guardian. It’s unknown who the favorites are to win, some elections have come down to a single vote, so it could be anyone’s election.
To reiterate, this year’s candidates are as followed:
Everglade - Fai D. Flourite, Sans the Skeleton and Maria Selwyn
Attleton - John Smith, Reiner Braun, Dante Sparda, Roman Torchwick and Blaze.
Fayren - Satori Komeiji, Blaine DeBeers, Azalea and Mavis Vermillion.

Starland Revisit
After a thorough investigation into the Starland incident, Aster Tech has finally spoken at length about it. The explosive devices used to cause so much devastation were some of their own making. There was a breach at one of their storage facility that allowed the perpetrators to get in and make off with several prototype devices, which the explosives were among.
The scientist that were kidnapped all have access to the facility, and restricting or outright denying their access to the facility hadn’t been something they thought was necessary, but now it is becoming a mandatory thing for whenever one of their workers suddenly go missing.
Footage of the break in was compromised as the drives storing the footage appear to have been corrupted by an outside source. Maybe of the people we were allowed to interview about this seem to believe that the group known as Red Claw was behind the break in and attack and Aster Tech seems to be doubling their effort to combat them.

Silly Criminal – A criminal has been breaking into people’s houses and tying them up with duct tape so he can steal all of their footwear. Why they are doing this is unknown, a level 1 payment is being offered for their capture.
Nova City
Affectionate Melodies – A criminal scientist has developed a device that emits a melody that places a person in a relaxed and suggestive state. Using it, they have committed numerous crimes and have gotten others to commit some as well. A level 3 payment is being offered to anyone that can capture this person and bring them in.
Everglade
Refined Whispers – People staying in homes on a certain city block have all claimed to hear whispers in the middle of the night urging them to kill and commit crimes. None have given into the whispering, but many say that they are finding it hard to resist them, even though they’ve never committed a crime in their lives. A magical component is expected to be behind it and a level 3 payment is being offered to anyone that can put a stop to it.
Fayren
Reanimated – A mage has been enchanting suits of armor to come alive and kill their owners in the middle of the night. How the killer selects their targets is unknown, but a level 3 payment is being offered for them.
Attleton
Snatched - A cat burglar has been sneaking into people’s homes and stealing their priceless jewelry. This takes place both during the day and in the middle of the night. A level 3 payment is being offered for the burglar’s capture.

Title: Binford in the Bin
Info: After years of serving the population in the absolute least capacity possible, the unthinkable has finally happened. Binford Garden Apartments has officially gone bankrupt. The apartment complex is scheduled to be demolished July 1st and is expected to be replaced with something the mayor calls "welcomer housing."
The term Welcomer Housing may not be familiar to many Genessian residents, but Genessian Mayor Bobbi Robertson says that it's a concept to keep newcomers arriving in the Bay off of the streets and with a place to stay while they haven't had a chance to find income yet. This new initiative is expected to be a welcomed change to help reduce the temporarily homeless population of Genessia and its neighboring cities. By buying out the land from Binford Garden, which had finally started losing more money than it was making even with minimal spending, the previous owner was able to break even and the land was able to be gained by Genessia City for this project.

Title: Tragedy of the Heart
Info: A recently self-published video by a serial killer revealed numerous citizens of all five cities being gruesomely tormented. Citizens are advised not to watch the video if they are weak of heart or have a soul that they don't want crushed or twisted. Seriously, it's really graphic and gross.
The Genessia Tribune would like to reach our hearts and prayers out to the victims and take a moment of silence to acknowledge the tragedy that took place. Victims included both Nova City's City Guardian Weiss Schnee and both of Genessia City's Deputy Guardians, Mikasa Ackerman and Karla. The complete list of victims is as follows, but the question remains: if our protectors can't protect themselves, how safe are we?
