1st March (Action)
[All Alicia can remember upon waking up was the dry heat, the arid landscape dotted by ruins from the era of the Darcsun Calamity. The fateful encounter with their enemy, Maximillian, Prince of the Imperial Alliance, and the battle with his massive tank that soon followed.
After the grogginess cleared, the realization that she was no longer in the Barious Desert came down on her like the thunderous booms of both the Eidelweiss and the Batomys main guns. Where she was, she couldn't say. There were too many weird formations. There was too much water. Was she captured by the Imperials and thrown in some cavernous dungeon? If so, where are the other prisoners? She certainly doesn't see Welkin or anyone else from her squad, alive or otherwise.
Alicia found all of her equipment, intact. Her rifle, grenades, ragnaid, radio, everything was all accounted for. As for the box she woke up with, she ignored it. It could be a bomb. After a quick look around, she found an exit. And furthermore, no guards. Just what in heaven's name is going on?
The Gallian scout didn't exit the cave. She instead crouched down and peeked around the corner looking out. She could be in enemy territory and wouldn't want to get killed before she found her squad. Using the radio was clearly out of the question. All she got was static and no response. The best she can do is escape and find a clearing to try again. Getting out a pair of binoculars, Alicia looked out into the city. She can see people going about their business like everything is normal. No marching of soldiers, neither Gallian, Imperial or Federation. No flags declaring allegiance to either side in the war.
But wait! Someone is coming? Someone is heading right this way! Putting the binoculars away, Alicia scoots away from the entrance to the bay, carefully wading through the water to a spot to hide. She checks and readies her rifle. She was going to get answers and escape.
Whoever the incoming stranger is, hopefully they sympathize with Gallia and will help her.]

Action;
There is still a bandage over her left eye and as she steps within Alicia's sight she runs straight into a lampost. Her books and papers slip from her arms and she stumbles back; dazed by the impact.
She hasn't gotten used to the change in depth perception.]
Re: Action;
Still, her soldier instincts had the upper hand. At least for the moment. The dazed girl wasnt in any kind of uniform, if one can even call it one and she saw no weapon. Alicia will throw caution to the wind, and let empathy prevail. Please don't let this be a mistake!
Swinging her rifle onto her back, she carefully approached Levy and knelt down to help pick up the spilled books.]
"...I'll help you gather your things. But in return, you'll tell me what I want to know. Deal?"
Action;
You don't have to and I'll tell you anyway.
[She kneels down and begins to gather her things. She gathers what's on the right first before turning her head to see all the items on her left. Even afterwards she still misses a book.]
Re: Action;
"I'm going to anyway..."
[While Alicia is curious as to how the blunette got such a nasty injury, she didn't want to poke a potentially touchy subject. Even if asking could give her clues about Imperial activity.]
"...I've been away a while... How goes the war? What are your feelings on it?"
Action;
What war?
[She pauses looking towards the bay.]
You didn't just wake up did you? Did you read the papers in the box?
Re: Action;
[Did she time travel? No, that's stupid. More likely this town had a isolationist policy. A rather extreme one at that.]
"...Wake up...? Yeah, I guess did... And the box?" [the one she thought could be a bomb?] "No... I didn't."
[She didn't destroy it, so if it's safe, then she can retrieve it if she has to.]
Action;
This world isn't the same as your own. There isn't a war in a traditional sense. There is fighting at times. [She exhales a slow breath.]
The box has information in it. I can answer any questions but you should look at it first.
Re: Action;
[She wasn't going to look for the box until that question was answered.]
Action;
It's exactly what it sounds like. We were brought here from our respective worlds. [Or they're clones but who knows.] While you're here it's like time in your home pauses.
It's easier to understand if you read the pamphlet in the box. They're written to explain this better than I could.
Re: Action;
"...I really need to find my squad... And you absolutely promise me that I am absolutely safe to be Gallian here?"
[If promised, she'll go back to get the box.]
Action;
I promise but… your friends. They might not be here… [Levy’s voice sounds resigned.]
This place isn’t easy to explain.
[ Which is most likely obvious to Alicia. Levy is earnest and she’s trying so hard to help.]
Re: Action;
"Okay... So this is a bunch of red paper. Money, given the print. A pamphlet... ...A pendant? And...some sort of see-through plate with squares on it?"
Action;
[The others items are more self-explanatory and Alicia seems really smart.]

It seemed to succeed. She could see him well enough. Red, a color favored by the Imperial Alliance. So this was indeed bad for her, to be alone in definite hostile territory, but it's still weird how she was not restrained and stripped of her equipment. Regardless, she had the upper-hand, so it was time.
Alicia carefully approached and raised her rifle.]
"Drop any weapons you may have and raise your hands where I can see them."
no subject
"Got a feisty one, eh?" [He turns, grinning as he eyed the make of the rifle she held.]
"Never seen a gun that make before. Looks to be fairly old by my standards, and not all that powerful. Look, I know you're scared in a new place and everything like that, but this is not how you make good first impressions. ...And you'd need a lot bigger gun to drop me."
no subject
"Then, how about telling me why the Imperials would drop off a captive with all of their belongings in a cave and leave them unguarded?"
no subject
"Dunno who these Imperials of yours are. But all that stuff she says about being in a different world and everything? That's all true. I know it's a tough pill to swallow, but there you have it."
no subject
"And who is 'she?' I don't see anyone. And you expect me to believe this talk of another world and that you know nothing of the Imperials?"
no subject
"Her. Name's Weiss Schnee, she looks after one of the cities here. And you're going to need to be a tad more specific which Empire you're talking about. The only empires I'm aware of fell a good couple hundred years ago. Also, if you're going to keep pointing that peashooter at me, just shoot me and get it over with."

Alicia slowly lowered her weapon, keeping an eye on Dante as she moves closer to the hologram, listening to the audio coming from it. Her mind was soon completely overwhelmed by not just the fact of free-standing moving images in 3 dimensional, but now by the fact that this guy was telling the truth.
"Is this... really the truth? The Principality of Gallia, the Atlantic Federation, and the East Europan Imperal Alliance... You have really never heard of them? You and I were pulled from separate worlds and placed in "Genessia?" And there are others like us?"
no subject
[He reaches reaches under his shirt collar and produces the pendant he received upon arrival and holds it up for inspection.]
"These pendant things allow us to travel between the cities, and mark us as people not from this place. Honestly it's not all that bad here."
no subject
"Not all that bad here? But what about my homeland? It was invaded by the massive Imperial Alliance and I was in the middle of a war to kick them out. How can I just accept being a deserter?"
[Granted, she hates the fighting, but she has her patriotic duty, and a love of country to back it up.]
"And those pendants... obviously they're invaluable. Do we wake up with them, or do we have to find them somewhere?"
no subject
Think of it like this. If time is a river, this place is a dam. When you leave here - since people pop in and out with no rhyme or reason - you'll be put back exactly where and when you were snatched.
[The next question gets an arched eyebrow.]
You didn't get a little box in your pod? Had the pendant and some money and a pamphlet explaining some things in it.
no subject
[Yeah, she remembers finding a box. But for all she knew, it was a bomb or some sort of new experimental weapon.]
"...I did find a box, but... I was in the middle of a battle when I woke up. I thought it was a bomb. I didn't destroy it, though."
no subject
[He rolls his eyes before turning back toward the entrance.]
"I suggest you find it and get acquainted with your surroundings. For now, you're a citizen of Genessia. Not this 'Gallia' or Empire or whatever. Might want to try and get settled before anything weird goes down."

[ The voice that Alicia ends up hearing is one of what seems to be a child, humming cheerfully. Of course, she just arrived in this world recently herself, too. When she thinks she's alone, she drops the soft, childish tones in exchange for something cold and mature. ]
I thought that after surpassing that June that I would finally be free of travelling to different worlds... and now, none of them are here. Not Hanyuu, or Keiichi. I wonder if this world is meant to be another dead end for me.
no subject
But then, she heard a new voice. She peeked out and saw it was the same little girl who had been humming. What in the world happened to her voice? Alicia was taking a risk of the girl alerting any hostiles to her presence, but she emerged from the bay's entrance to try talking to the girl and see what happens.]
"Hello there. I liked your song. Do you think you can help me? I just need to know what town this is."
no subject
Miiiii..... I just showed up, but according to this pamphlet, it looks like this place is called Genessia.
no subject
[Never heard of it. But then again, she was once a baker in Bruhl. She didn't need to think about the rest of the world.]
"Where can I find a pamphlet? Can your parents tell me?"
no subject
[ She's never heard of Genessia either, but at least she understands the concept of other worlds -- other Fragments. When there's a mention of her parents, her expression wilts slightly. ]
I don't have any parents though, miss.

Re: action;
She took her useless radio and turned it on, letting it emit annoying static in hopes it will lure Nagisa to her.]
action;
Hello?
Re: action;
She'll see if her voice carries well enough.]
"Hey, you there. Can you come over here for a moment? I want to ask you something."
action;
I assume you are new here right? Don't want to come out for whatever reason? If that is the case I can come over.

Re: Action;
Ambush no longer felt like a wise idea. Perhaps surrender may be her best option if she ever wanted to learn the fate of Welkin and the rest of her squad, granted if this person had the slightest bit of mercy. It was her best shot since she was still unable to determine if she was in Imperial territory.
Alicia emerged from her hiding spot and stepped in front of Saber, hands raised in sign of surrender.]
Re: Action;
Looking around to check for any possible attackers, the blonde walked over to Alicia and raised her own hands, imitating the girl.]
I must confess, this is an awkward way of greeting someone, though I can see the appeal in ensuring you approach unarmed.
Re: Action;
"Oh, well... Then let me introduce myself..."
[Alicia stood at attention and saluted.]
"Good day, citizen. I am Sergeant Alicia Melchiott, Squad 7, Gallia Militia. I have some questions that I need your help in answering."
[That is, if the other person wants to answer questions. Since she was out in the open, Alicia doesn't sense danger. She lowers her salute and waits for her to agree.]
Re: Action;
Though she supposes it was true now after all. She's not a king anymore.]
Greetings to you Miss Melchiott. You may refer to me as Saber and I will be willing to help with questions that you may have. Though it might be good to also go to the welcoming center as well.
Re: Action;
"It's nice to meet you, Saber. Where does this town stand on the Second Europan War?"
Re: Action;
[That sounded so close to European that it tripped Saber up a bit, but she shook her head.]
THere is no such war here. Did you not see the hologram? We are snatched from our respective worlds and brought here for some unknown purpose.
Re: Action;
[She spotted the shimmering girl in white. It was quite impressive that technology has reach a point where they can make images of people in a 3D model. However, she doesn't understand the point of it; what was wrong with a good ol' radio? Alicia approached it and listened, the disbelief growing with each sentence until she can't listen anymore.]
"This... This is unreal... I have to have been injured at Barious and I am in Randgriz right now in a hospital..."
[Alicia pinched both of her own cheeks to try to wake up in a hospital, with her squad-mates checking on her. However, all she can see was this world, "Genessia."]
"...I'm really not in Gallia anymore, am I? I'm no longer fighting to protect my country?"
Re: Action;
Indeed you are not in this Gallia anymore. None of us are where we used to be. The box with you is proof of this with a pendant and enough money to last for a month if you live decently, more if you're frugal.
[At the look on the other girl's face, Saber sighed as she let her arms fall from where she was fixing her cuffs.]
You're in another world now. There is no need to fight unless someone is trying to pick a fight with you. If you ever wanted to take up a profession, now is the time to try one out. You'll return to your world whenever whoever took us deems to do so.
Re: Action;
[Alicia crossed her arms in thought for a moment.]
"...However, I dreamed of returning to a civilian life when the war ended. Since I'm given that chance, I'm going to follow my dream and open a bakery."
[She really feels like a deserter in this scenario. Hopefully Welkin and the others can forgive her.]
Re: Action;
[Complacency thy name is not Saber as she dismisses Alicia's worries without thought.]
A bakery is a good idea. We don't know how long we are entrapped here after all, it is best to be able to ensure proper life and living while you can. Don't worry about the time lost, apparently we will end up returning to the time we had left with not even a second passed.
Re: Action;
[Alicia gave her a small wave and a smile before heading out into town. It could be awhile for the feeling of surrealism goes away.]
Re: Action;
[Saber bowed to the brunette as the suited woman took her leave, continuing on her way while wondering if she should stop in whenever Alicia gets that bakery made.]
