I won't be able to make anything new for a while. I apologize for that inconvenience and for being away. However, I am open again.
[Formal, curt and to the point. He's going back to his shop and carrying on as usual, or at least as close to it as he can. It's Ryou's way of giving the middle finger to the recent ... incident that he was involved in. A bandaged hand flips the sign over to 'open' on Figurine Fables door.]
ooc warning:Could be mentions of some Battler-stuff under the cut. Nothing gory or detailed - unless someone's character is an asshole and they are TRYING to trigger him.]
A) Shop
Ryou stared at his diorama hoping he didn't look as depressed as he felt. He didn't know why he came down here, it wasn't like he could work on it. And he really wanted to be able to work on something. Working on models or figures had been something he liked to do, but he didn't realize how much of a coping mechanism it had also been as well. Keeping busy kept his mind away from other things.
Some people paint with the tips of their fingers. He smiled the little at thought. That would be funny wouldn't it? 'Sorry everyone, but I've taken up painting now. I can't carve or sculpt without being able to hold the knives properly. Guess I need to think of a new name for the shop, too.
He laughed a little bit, but his lower lip was trembling. He gritted his teeth to swallow the sobs and clenched his eyes shut.
I'm fine. It's fine. That had been his mantra in the past. He'd repeated it over and over to himself when his sister passed ... when his friends were falling into comas that he couldn't explain and people began to isolate and resent him....it was fine. He didn't need to feel these things because he would take care of himself. He always did.
The bell on the shop door rang and he jumped. He wiped the corner of his eyes on his sleeve hastily and made his way to the front.
b)Closing up and walking home
Getting out had been the right thing to do. He was glad he had come out here even if he'd had a bad moment earlier. Staying home and doing nothing would have just made him crazy.
He shut the door and flipped the closed sign. Before he left he waved to guy closing shop next door. Then he turned and - " -oof!"
And right into someone he walked! Well, it would seem he was still a klutz.
"Sorry, I never heard you coming."
c)[Kind of a free style. Anyone can meet him on his trip home, but if you have another area in mind, that's fine too.]

b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
Her heels click softly against the pavement, her hips moving in an alluring way that's usually meant to draw the eye. When the white haired boy turns she tries to step from his path though Crystal isn't the quickest person in the world. Her hands gently go out to steady him, keeping them both upright.
Shimmering blue eyes look down at Ryou who's a few inches shorter than Crystal, adding her heels gives her substantial height. There is a light smile on her lips that's easy but kind.]
That's fine. Are you alright?
[Her voice is sweet and warm. Crystal's head cants to the side brushing golden ringlets against her cheek as she watches the startled young man. She knows him from the network though they've ever spoken.]
Re: b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
My name Ryou. [He had at least picked up being slightly less formal in Genessia. He didn't say his full name anymore even if sometimes he still bowed.] Most people call me Bakura, but I'm fine with either.
b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
[Once he's steady her hands fall from his shoulders and she takes a small step back, giving him the space he might need.]
I'm Crystal. Is this your shop.
[She looks up at the sign, her expression curious but polite.]
Re: b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
Have you been in Genessia long?
b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
[She gestures towards the silky fabric of her dress. When she speaks to Ryou her eyes met his and her gaze never wanders to his bandages or any other oddities. She's skilled at making people feel more comfortable in conversation.]
And you? I find there are many here I haven't met though I do remember seeing you post to the Network a few times.
Re: b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
Oh. That must be why I haven't seen you. About three months? [He squints.] Time does pass rather quickly when you aren't paying attention to it. Hard to believe I've been here this long.
b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
How long has it been? I'm afraid I don't get out much besides work.
[Which is at a nightclub, hardly the place Ryou will venture.]
Re: b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
It's not the kind of place he'd usually go, but it's not like he wants to go home either.]
I never got into the night life here. But maybe I should. I could be missing out.
b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
I work in one of the VIP rooms as a hostess.
[Crystal’s smile widens.]
You should come and see it. I’d love to see you there.
Re: b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
[Crystal flashes him a charming smile.]
I suppose I should let you get home. I have to be heading to work as well.
Re: b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
Ah! Yes. I'll let home. [he adds as an afterthought] Be safe on your home.
b) Closing up and walking home [Nova City]
Be safe Ryou.
B)
Ah, don't apologize, really. You probably have a lot on your mind.
Re: B)
B)
[She smiled happily.]
You own a shop as well. What is it like?

Re: B)
[His smile faltered a little.] But the villains are real here as well. [And unlike a game, he had not been granted any special powers.
B)
[He paused for a moment. He wondered if that would actually be fun or not though.]
Re: B)
[He'd seen first hand himself that is was useful.]
B)
[He is pondering it since there are so many.]
Re: B)
B)
[He nodded slightly.]
I'd settle for that as well. Helping friends would be the best.
