[Arrival; Outside the Bay]

[Well, this was pretty strange. You think you are going one place, and then suddenly you end up in another. Johnny had just done the whole spending time on another world thing. Now it looked like he was in for an encore of that. Though this world seemed different than he one he just came from.

He glanced around at his surroundings as he stood outside of the Bay. Yep, much more modern than where he came from. Not only that..there was something else. He took a brief moment before activating his powers. Suddenly, he was completely engulfed in flames. He could feel his abilities back in full and that felt great.]


Oh man. It feels so great to be able to bring the heat again. [He flares up his fire a bit more, the flames growing higher and hotter. Just a little test to make sure they were back in full force.

Granted, anyone not use to such a sight might freak out at the sight of someone that looked like they were being burned alive. But Johnny wasn't worried about that at the moment.]


[Apartment Search; Nova City & Genessia City]

[Decked out in a nice suit and a pair sunglasses, Johnny is making his way about both Nova City and Genessia City looking into housing. The other three cities didn’t hold his interest too much, which was good, because that meant his time searching for a place was going to be cut down if he was shaving three entire cities off his list.

Finding a place to live was important. He already has a job, but a nice, comfortable place to lay his head? That was just as important. If not more so. He couldn’t possibly hope to entertain a beautiful woman in an icky run down place. That would be blasphemy.

So if you happen to be in the area of the major apartment complexes in the city, you might bump into him taking a look at the places. He's mostly considering NC over GC, because they place is so advanced, he knows he can get into a lot of fun there.]

[It was just one of those days.

You know, one moment you're just minding your own ghostly business, taking a quick flight to relax after a long day.

And then there's some guy on fire taking up the airways.]

Okay, so I have a burning question to ask. [Danny waves a hand and pulls a string of ghost ice crystals out of thin air. ]

Need some help chilling out?

Burning question. I've never heard that one before. [No sarcasm at all. Because he hasn't actually heard that one. And he's heard a lot, believe him.]

I just turned the temperature up, why would I want to turn it down so quickly?

Oh you know, just trying to keep things temperate before they get too hot to handle.

[He sighs dramatically. ]

People always complain when I have to drop a few ghostly icebergs on fires when they start.

I think people would complain if you dropped icebergs on anything. [Sounds like a lot of property damage to him.]

So what are you? Some sort of ghostly superhero? Afterlife-Man?

I usually go by Danny Phantom. [He snickers. ]

Nice idea, though. I'd love to see people's faces if I tried to introduce myself as Afterlife-Man.

[Nova City]

[Crystal prefers Nova City over the other area’s available in Genessia, though she’d been thrilled to find the sub-archway to Paris. She spends most of her day’s doing mundane things but as the sun begins to dip towards the horizon she’s out and headed to work. Her heels click softly on the concrete while her hips sway alluringly with each step. A light teasing smirk tugs at her lips while baby blue eyes watch those pass around her. Her dress is short, wrapping her frame in rich velvety purple hues. Short bright blonde curls brush against her cheek as she steps across the street and into a small café.

She flashes her usual charming expression at the woman behind the counter before ordering herself a cup of coffee to go. It’s a short meeting and with her warm drink in hand she continues on her way.

Seeing Johnny gives her pause though her expression remains relaxed. She steps up next to him, her eyes running along the lines of his suite. He’s someone she’d remember so she can only assume he’s new to Nova City.]

Looking for something? Maybe I can help you?

[Her voice is silky and sweet with a promise lingering just beneath the warm tone.]

[Well hello there, good looking. It's a shame he isn't looking for a beautiful woman to spend time with at the moment. Because he's definitely sure that she would be able to help him with that.]

Depends. Have you been here a long time? I'm looking around Genessia City and Nova City for a place to stay. Any long time guest's opinion on that would be a pretty big help.

I've been here long enough. I can tell you more about Nova City than Genessia though. Heavens Court Apartments are the most expensive though I don't think they are for a single occupant. The Ave have apartments for one.

[She takes a step closer while a charming smile falls across her lips.]

What are you looking for?

Something nice and not run down. At least until I get myself completely on my feet in this world. [No sense in breaking the bank just to get a nice place. When he's got way more disposable cash, then he'll spring for lavished, big places that are too big for just him.]

[Outside the Bay]

[There are certain things you come to expect in Genessia. They were always along the lines of ‘expect the unexpected’. Airy has yet to master this expectation and so when she sees someone on fire she immediately reacts. In an instant clouds gather above their heads and heavy rain begins to fall. It pours until the flames are diminished and in another instant the rain is gone, the sun is out and shining down on the now soaked street.]

Woops…

[Airy looks down at her button down and then tugs at her skirt. She hates the feeling of wet clothes sticking to her skin. With a heavy sigh she runs up next to the new stranger. She pushes her dark hair over her shoulder and rings out the water that’s begun to cling to the silky strands.]

Hey, sorry. Are you okay?

[He looks fine and after a second Airy realizes that she’s staring and forces her gaze to meet his.]

[The flames really only die out when Johnny turns off his ability. His fire burns too hot for rain to put it out. It takes being submerged in a large body of water or airless vacuum to do that. Even after he turns his fire off, he gets rained on a bit.]

Perfectly fine. [He says as he heats his body up and steam rises from him as he evaporates the water.] So what are you, some sort..water wizard?

[He's met all kinds of people. It wouldn't surprise him if she was.]

[She watches him dry his clothes with obvious envy. That would be such a nifty thing to be able to do. It's at least better than feeling wet and sticky.]

Not exactly. It's... [She pauses and decides that she still sucks at explaining it.] It's more complicated than that.

Do you always light yourself on fire?

It's my power. Like how you just did that water thing? [He motions his hand to the sky.] My power is to do that. And fly. And some other stuff too. But being on fire is one of the main things.

[Krillin had been out on his daily job when he saw Johnny burst into flames. He slowed for a bit and didn't seem too worried since the guy didn't seem to be in any pain but he figured he'd ask just to make sure.]

Hey, uh... you okay?

Don't I look it? [He knows he clearly doesn't. He's had someone say that him being on fire like this looks painful. It isn't, but that much is really obvious.]

[Krillin just chuckles, satisfied that the guy isn't burning alive.]

You look like you're on fire, but I'm not the type to question it if you're okay. I mean, it's not the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

That's good. I've had people try to put me out before. One time someone threw their alcoholic drink on me. Can't say I can blame them for freaking, though.

Nova City / UF Lounge

[ If he's looking at apartments in Nova City to take beautiful women to, the most convenient place is easily the UF Lounge. It's right above a bar. Which also means Emerald has a tendency to take advantage of the bar's drunks to add into her 'payday' most of the time-- but right now she looks like she's focusing on something else. It's still midday so even if she's in the bar, it's more because she didn't want to be stuck in the apartment anymore. It's also why despite that she seems to be working on something on her phone, she's quick to notice Johnny. ]

You're really early if you're here for happy hour.

[He's not entirely sure about the place, though he hears it is pretty affordable. He doesn't want a woman to think he is sleazy if he tries to take them to his place above a bar. Also it would make them hard to avoid afterwards if he was just looking for a fling. Still, he's weighing his options so he's checking out the UF Lounge.]

Am I? Darn. I'm still pretty wasted from last night, so telling time is an ability I don't have right now. [Clearly he's not drunk at all, though.]

I'm actually more interested in the apartments here than drinks and food.

Oh. In that case, it's terrible and you don't want to live there unless you're quiet and I'm not going to want to kill you over something. In which case, it's great.

[ She doesn't know this guy, but if he wants to live there he bettern ot being an obnoxious neighbor. ]

I guess for the sake of not butting heads then, I shouldn't. I'm the have a party on Friday and Saturday just because sort of guy.

Arrival

[One would think that by now Nagisa would be awfully use to odd things like magic and the like. But even as he walked and spotted a literal man on fire, he still couldn't help but stop and simply watching. He was really use to it.]

Is... that normal where your from?

It's normal for me. At least now it is. [It wasn't like he'd been able to do this his entire life.]

[He figured he might sound rude when he said that, but he was curious. He kind of wanted to know about other people.]

I guess it wasn't always the case.

Nope. I got the powers from radiation. Now I can do this. [He urns off his powers and goes back to normal.] Personally I'd say it is one of the best powers one could hope for.
