Locations: Genessia and Attleton

[It has been some time and Alicia has gotten mostly used to being in a new world. She more or less likened it to a new country - which is not inaccurate. She has a place to live picked out, but she won't be able to afford it forever. She needs a job to pay her rent, and afford new clothes besides just her military uniforms.

Alicia is casually strolling around Genessia City and Attleton, exploring the areas, a pad and paper in hand, trying to find a good spot to put her business. Dressed in her much lighter Bruhl town watch uniform, which might help her look less like an obvious foreigner. She seems to be thinking quite hard about something as she jots words down on the pad of paper. Coming close to her would reveal some of her musings.]

"Wonder Bread? ...No... Lucky 7's Bakery? No... That sounds like a casino that happens to be a bakery... I have to think of a catchy name or no one will want to buy my bread..."

Um...

[Airy watches the girl curiously, her bright green eyes blinking as Alicia speaks to herself.]

You're opening a bakery?

[That sounds awesome and Airy will walk past just to smell bread each day.]

[Alicia quickly stopped muttering to herself. Seeing Airy nearby and noting her question, she couldn't help but smile.]

"I am... Or, at least I want to. But I'm having trouble thinking of a name."

Well...

[Airy looks up as if the answer might be written in the sky.]

What's your favorite thing to bake?

[Alicia was very quick with her answer.]

"That would be bread."

And what's your name? Oh! and favorite thing or color or whatever.

[The gears in her head are beginning to turn.]

"Alicia Melchiott. Favorite thing and color? Well... um... this is only pure dreaming, if that's okay. I like to imagine a patron bringing home the bread I baked and sharing it with their family."

((OOC: Such things haven't been explored to my knowledge in VC1. I'm only playing on events unlocked prior to the Barious Campaign.))

Then what about something like 'Homely Breads' or 'Rising Sun Bakery' [Bad pun.] Or 'Dreaming of Bread.'

[She laughs brightly.]

There are so many great names.

"Hmm... Homely Breads... I like it. What's your name? When I get the bakery up and running, I'll give you discounts on the bread I bake."

Oh.. I'm Airy.

[She waves her palms in front of her face.]

You don't have to give me a discount. I'll be here a lot and I want to keep you open.

[Airy really likes eating.]

I don't think having a catchy name is what make people buy the bread. It's the smell that comes out of the place that will draw them.

[Hikari had been walking the dogs as they were currently sniffing a near by wall. It had such interesting smells.]

[She's trying not to watch the cute dogs.]

"That's true. But I want people to be able to easily remember the name of the shop."

[Big, long names are hard to remember.]

Then why not something that's simple and maybe have a connection to either you personally or like the place I run has a pun in the name.

[Some of the dogs were now sitting while others had come over to sniff.]

How about free, really sweet bread? Your name could be Free and Sweet Bread.

[ To be fair, he has no idea if she can hear him, or see him, since not everyone can, but if he didn't take chances he'd get nowhere.

At the very least, even if she can't see or hear him, she should feel him bump against her legs. ]
