And I didn't mean free cigars, I just meant that there'd be enough to buy and resupplied as regularly as food in most civilized parts of the world.

What kind of other jobs are there?

Well then you really don't have much in terms of the type you are looking for. Only law enforcement is deputy guardians, or a group I put together in everglade, but that doesn't pay an awful lot.

Though you could open your own police force if you wanted, however.

Surprisingly, no. Whoever kidnaps us do not even let themselves be know. He kind of have free reign.

How many law enforcement types would you estimate exist here already?

Hard to tell honesty as there is at least over 100 people who have been brought here. A good number of those seemed to want to help out and do things like Guardian, deputies or bounty hunting. So I'd give a guess at over 20 in that regard.

But can't give an exact.

You would think that, but in this world things still happen.

Do you have all out wars here?

Well we've had one incident with someone over powered once who outright killed me.

[And yet was still here, talking.]

Then we had something else happen around a few weeks ago. Sometimes it isn't a war that happens it can just be by one person.

I can understand that. [After seeing Portgas alive again, he somewhat expects death to be meaningless. Or at the minimum... fucked up as all hell.]

I've had to deal with situations like that as well as the other.

I can add what skills I have, but I'm wondering at what point it becomes a matter of too many cooks in the kitchen. I'd hardly be welcoming of others invading my territory normally, even with the best of intentions.

What kind of powers did this person have?

I don't know, maybe in the future we'll be able to figure that out.

As for the person. it was complicated, but it didn't help with them having something of someone I knew, which only increased his powers.

I heard there's bounties on beasts too. Are they really that dangerous?

It was dealt with over a year ago. it's just a nice little reminder to me about what can happen here.

I met someone whose death changed the whole shape of our world.

Everyone's life causes ripples, his just was far more connected to everyone else to cause tsunami.

That's if a life effects a great amount of people to cause a whole world to change. Then again little ripples can slowly spread and grow bigger and bigger.

In Portgas' case, it was like a focal point that caused a lot of other stalactites to fall. Even without other lives lost, it changed the whole world.

Other worlds and how they work are simply fascinating. But I asume it's just me that thinks that, right?

No, I think so too.

Hell, I even thought that about individual islands. On a larger scale is all the more interesting.
