[Ace is camped on his favorite spot on the beach of Genessia on another pile of driftwood and such that he's been collecting for various Ace related reasons. He doesn't look really happy, though. And he even sounds pissed, voice tight and clipped.]

I'm looking to start a pirate crew. Not sure what the ultimate goal is but for right now adventure, breaking laws, maybe some arson and never paying for anything you eat ever.

[Levy rolls her shoulders in a shrug. She's met Ace one other time before but he always seems to be the happy sort of person.]

[She exhales a slow breath.]

Anyone can fake it. It's pretty easy you know. [not that he was at the time but]

You should be careful who you believe.

[he's not even going to say thank you for your concern. Though he feels he should. Even if he doesn't understand why. Though he suspects it's for the person she thinks he is rather than the truth]

[Levy shakes her head.]

It's just an observation, I don't know if it counts as believing.

I... already know what it's like to believe the wrong person. [She is responding via video after all.]

Accident mostly. It just doesn't seem important when we have another goal in mind.

That depends on the job but it's usually to have fun and make money. We're just a big family.

[She smiles, remembering the fun times in the guild.]

[he grins at that]

[and he stands to show her the tattoo on his back]

I'm the son of the strongest man in the world.

[Levy smiles at the camera.]

That's amazing.

I have a tattoo too.

[She turns and like most of her clothing the back of her dress is open, showing off the mark on her shoulder blade.]

Nice. [he approves A+++] Are any of your family here?

Sort of, a few of them are but they remember different things.

[It makes it a little awkward and Levy wonders if she did something wrong.]

What about you?

Yeah! My brother is here. But he explained it was like hot pockets or something. You should ask him.

[he doesn't get it himself]

But hey, don't worry about it. They'll remember eventually.

[She feels herself smiling at his grin.]

I can, who's your brother?

[Levy hopes that her friends and her will able to speak more freely.]

His name is Marco! He looks either like a sparkly chicken or a pineapple depending on his mood.

[Levy almost laughs which is a surprise considering how she's been feeling.]

I'll keep that in mind and keep a look out.

[don't almost laugh. It makes him feel better and he's trying to be in a shitty mood right now]

Treat him with seeds if you do find him. He likes that.

[It’s nice to talk to him though she supposes she should leave him be.]
