[Ace is camped on his favorite spot on the beach of Genessia on another pile of driftwood and such that he's been collecting for various Ace related reasons. He doesn't look really happy, though. And he even sounds pissed, voice tight and clipped.]

I'm looking to start a pirate crew. Not sure what the ultimate goal is but for right now adventure, breaking laws, maybe some arson and never paying for anything you eat ever.

Nah forget it. [he rest his chin on his hand] It's too much trouble and like I said it's only partly about that. I've gotta do something bigger I think...

My boss isn't here so I have no direction, my partner is trying the straight-and-narrow like some kind of social experiment, and if I ruin it for him he's probably going to kick me off of the couch and I'll have nowhere to go since I'm not the kind of person who does well cooped up in an office or store. If you're going to set fires anyway, I might as well give you a list of people who suck so I can enjoy watching them burn.

It sucks to be alone... [that he can agree with] But I'm not going to be your firestarter. I don't even know them. Why not do it yourself?

[ She shrugs, not acknowledging the alone part. She's got a love-hate relationship with being alone. On the one hand, it's lonely and hard to get by. On the other hand, she trusts virtually no one other than Cinder and Mercury and thinks most people are horrible. ]

Fires aren't my thing. [ And she did try once- she and Mercury trashed a hotel here in Genessia before he got his 'pardon' and fire may have happened, but she's not going to admit to it. ] Not paying for anything is though, so I don't mind helping out if it kills some time.
