[ It's been a few weeks, but those weeks have taken a toll on Furude Rika. She's lonely without her friends, and she isn't exactly certain if she can handle it much longer. Plus, there's simply just something that she needs, and it's getting a little difficult to continue to buy that 'something' without a job.

Which is why Rika decides to pipe up today with a huge smile. It's forced, but it isn't as if anybody's bound to notice. ]

Good afternoon, everybody. I saw the newspapers recently and was wondering what kinds of jobs do you guys think would be suitable for me. I've never had a job before, so I'm rather curious to see what would be fun. I'm really good at playing games and I know how to cook and clean, if that helps anybody out. I'm really excited to be working with each and every one of you. Nipa~✰

✿ action: garden park ( really late evening, around 11 PM )

[ Sometimes, it gets dull in a world you don't know. And for Rika, there's only one way to get rid of that dullness. With a little bit of wine, of course. How did she manage to get it, a mystery... but she sure didn't do it illegally, that's for sure.

Someone might note that it's Bernkastel wine that she's drinking as she sits down on a bench, rather bored before staring up at the sky, speaking in a dark, cold voice; one that doesn't belong to a child, but rather, an adult. ]

I never thought that in a thousand years I'd be placed in a Fragment outside of Hinamizawa without Hanyuu... ahh, it's such a lonely sight, in the end. That I have to drink this to even get by... it's truly something.

[Her phrasing confuses Terra.]

I never said that it wasn't.

[ It is, in fact, her favorite as well. But she felt as if it's more important to note that it was her father's. ]

... It helps ease the pain, however.

[She introduces it as her father’s favorite drink which is odd though Terra doesn’t press the matter forward. She takes things literally which is why she asked if it was the girls favorite too.]

You and your father sound close.

[Her tone is soft.]

What pain do you wish to ease?

That's... not necessarily the case. I haven't seen my father in over a thousand years.

[ Her voice remains solemn, but her gaze shifts uneasily. ]

I'm the only one from my Fragment here.

I have never seen my father.

[She replies in a soft voice, not looking for sympathy but to explain that she understands.]

And even as a fragment, while you are here, you are yourself.

Am I... really...?

[ To her, that statement is difficult. She doesn't know which "self" she is in this world, and that alone brings complications. Is she "Furude Rika"? Or is she "Frederica Bernkastel"? ]

Yes.

[Terra doesn't understand it herself.]

This world has us as we are.

Is that so.

[ "Us as we are" -- it doesn't make sense to her either. But who is she? She can't define who she is, herself. So what is she supposed to do. . . ]

[Her own ties have been broken.]

It's worth exploring instead of being stuck... isn't it?
