[ It's been a few weeks, but those weeks have taken a toll on Furude Rika. She's lonely without her friends, and she isn't exactly certain if she can handle it much longer. Plus, there's simply just something that she needs, and it's getting a little difficult to continue to buy that 'something' without a job.

Which is why Rika decides to pipe up today with a huge smile. It's forced, but it isn't as if anybody's bound to notice. ]

✿ action: garden park ( really late evening, around 11 PM )

[ Sometimes, it gets dull in a world you don't know. And for Rika, there's only one way to get rid of that dullness. With a little bit of wine, of course. How did she manage to get it, a mystery... but she sure didn't do it illegally, that's for sure.

Someone might note that it's Bernkastel wine that she's drinking as she sits down on a bench, rather bored before staring up at the sky, speaking in a dark, cold voice; one that doesn't belong to a child, but rather, an adult. ]

[battler took another step towards her, suddenly feeling much more desperate. no, this can't be....]

...You will not be my master? You will refuse me every time...? I can serve Furude Rika.... if that is what you wish....!

[ Quiet, she takes another sip of her wine before boring her eyes at him. She can practically hear the desperation in his voice and she feels pitiful for him as she pours herself another glass. ]

And why exactly, do you want to be my piece, Ushiromiya Battler? Is it out of your own free will? Or is it simply because you were crafted that way by Bernkastel?

[....he didn't know the answer to that.

of course, he had been made by the witches back in the golden land, and he had been expected to serve out their desires. he did, he was the perfect culprit, and now he was sure this was the proper route to take.

battler seemed even more irritated at her question and it took him a moment to answer. he glanced off to the side, staring at nothing, before looking back to her.]

...Not because of how I was crafted, no. But it is because.... I am furniture, I am just a piece, and furniture must have a master to serve. Without that.... I have no purpose, no goal, no use....

[ Her voice goes back to the childish one that just pouts. ]

How sad, how sad. The small kitten couldn't find his master, so he ended up crawling to his master's former self because he doesn't know what to do, nyaa nyaa~ [ WOW WHAT A LITTLE SHIT ]

[....if she were anyone else, he would have already moved in to begin his torture. he would have gutted her and spread her insides about everywhere- he didn't know why that particular thought came to mind, but he figured it would be fitting for a girl like her.

however, he would not touch her, he could not, because he still saw her as his master.]

Even if.... you do not accept me, I will still serve you.

If that is your decision, then I will not stop you, Ushiromiya Battler. However, I do not need a 'culprit' in this Fragment. Such a thing is unnecessary for Furude Rika.

But if Battler gets me some wine, I might tell him that he did a good job and give him pats on the head. Nipa~✰

[ She even does an invisible gesture of headpatting as she says that. ]

So.... you do not want me to.... kill anyone? Not anymore?

[he doesn't know how he feels about that, it's all he's ever been made to do. he craves it, that feeling throbs within him so strong, but he could never go against the wishes of his master.

battler smiles bitterly and then nods.]

Ahh... I see I see... I will not become the culprit again, lady Rika. And I will go and retrieve whatever you ask of me.

[in an instant battler has disappeared in a burst of purple magic. it takes a few moments for him but then he does return with more wine for her.]

[ That sure was quick. Of course, Rika has to inspect the bottle of wine, making sure that it's her favorite kind before she goes ahead to open it. ]

Thank you. [ She tosses him a rather appreciative smile as she makes an attempt to reach out and pat his head, if he allows it. He did a good job. If only because wine. ] I don't... really want to see people die again. Even if they come back, I'm just so tired of it all.

[he bows for her, allowing her to pat him on the head. what a strange gesture....]

...As you wish, I will not kill anyone anymore. Even if I crave it, even if I know I need it.... I will not do it.
