1st Love // [Action/Video]
[Waking up, Flonne could have sworn that she'd just had the strangest dream. She had dreamed that she had suddenly been brought back to life as a fallen angel and that Laharl had somehow become a prinny. Why he was a prinny, Flonne didn't know. Etna seemed to avoid the question every time she tried asking.
Waking up in this strange place, she was convinced she would just wake up and be normal Flonne.... or a flower. Whatever way she would come back as. That didn't seem to be the case right now. She felt groggy, but she could definitely feel the tail that hadn't been there prior to their visit to Celestia. Her clothing was different and she wasn't wearing her blue bow anymore. So it hadn't been a dream in the first place...
Finally looking around The Bay, she took in where she was. Wherever this was, she had no idea where she was or even if this was still the Netherworld. It seemed too nice to be the Netherworld. Sitting up, she felt something fall from her chest. Glancing to check what it was, she opened up the small white box to find the jeweled necklace. She wasn't sure why it had been on her chestwhich seemed to balance perfectly on her flat chest, but it was a very beautiful. It sort of reminded her of the pendent that Lamington gave her. Keeping track of it, she picked up the walkie-talkie. Once she was done mulling over what exactly this was used for, she started to read the pamphlet.]
How strange... So this necklace is that important? And this is mine to keep?
[Taking her new belongings, she picked herself off the ground to look around. As she was doing so, she toyed with the walkie-talkie until it turned on.]
Is this on? Uhm... Hello? Can somebody help me find a few friends?
[The pamphlet gave her enough basic information. Right now she just needed to find Etna and Laharl.]
One of them is a girl named Etna-san and the other is a boy named Laharl-san. They're both--- [wait a minute...] One of them is a demon and one of them is a prinny.
Is anybody there?
[Stumbling along, she just happened to trip on something. And there goes the walkie-talkie out of her hand and onto the ground. The feed seems to show a little bit of the ground and part of the sky as it lied awkwardly. The blonde fallen angel picked herself off the ground as her blonde hair covered most of the feed now.]
Ow! What was-- Laharl-san?
Hey! Laharl-san! Wake up!
[She's not sure why he's not a prinny anymore, but that's not important right now. The feed eventually shuts off by itself.]
[OOC: This is sort of a dual intro, so you might or might not get replies from both Laharl and Flonne.]

Laharl-san!
no subject
no subject
She ignored the newest arrivals at first, but eventually she became annoyed that Laharl wasn't waking up- she honestly just can't lazy people.
And so, sword in hand, Satsuki's heels clack as she makes her way over to the duo, then by Flonne's side. She raises her sheathed weapon into the air, handle-up..]
no subject
W-what are you doing?!
no subject

She slams the sheath of her weapon down upon the ground, and near instantly a magnificent burst of blinding light shines behind her, and potentially into Laharl's field of vision. The roar of her somewhat deep voice follows shortly after:]
Every morning rings in a new day,
Every day rings in new hopes,
Every hope rings in new desires,
And every desire rings in a new life!
Every such thought renders a new feeling,
And a good feeling defines a newer self!
Now rise!
no subject
Oh.... What did you just do?
[Now she's more curious than worried.]
no subject
...How do Jehova's witnesses keep finding my castle?
no subject
The glare of the light fades, and Satsuki ignores Laharl's smart comment as she looks to Flonne.]
What needed to be done.
More importantly, do you and your scrawny subordinate possess adequate survival skills?
no subject
[They idea of Laharl being her subordinate was kind of nice... and amusing. She could correct her but...]
We managed just fine in the Netherworld.
no subject
Did you just call me her subordinate!? ME!? I AM THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE LAHARL! SUPREME OVERLORD OF THE NETHERWORLDS! STRONGEST DEMON TO EVER GRACE THE THRONE!
TREMBLE BEFORE MY MIGHT! AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
[...This is where you start applauding, Flonne.]
no subject
[What in the world? Were these two dead? But now that she took a closer look, the duo did appear to have pointed ears.. Did they become demons, perhaps?
Just how is she supposed to take this news, exactly?
Before she could ponder upon it more, though, Laharl delivers a speech of his own out of nowhere that makes her hair blow back a bit. It's... Decent. But she doesn't appear very impressed.]
I appreciate your laughter; I wasn't certain if that was a joke or not. [She replies flatly, then looks to Flonne once more.] Are you both truly demons from the Netherwold?
no subject
Well... Technically I'm a fallen angel but... Laharl-san is the -- [Well... prince wouldn't really work right now...] -- overlord.
no subject
Of course I'm a demon from the Netherworld! I rule the Netherworld with an iron fist! Show some respect, dammit!
no subject
This is.. Different. Satsuki's attention shifts from Flonne to Laharl, then raises a hand to her forehead as if she feels a headache coming on.
Sigh. This was not in her job description.]
I fear you are no longer in the Netherworld, Laharl. On the plus side you have the opportunity to persue a new career.
[Then to Flonne.]
Is that so. I am Satsuki Kiryuin. What is your name and rank, Miss Fallen-Angel?
no subject
My name is Flonne. It's very nice to meet you, Satsuki-san.
[Unlike Laharl, Flonne is still very polite despite being a fallen angel.]
no subject
She's my lieutenant. You got a problem with that!?
[He crosses his arms, stomping closer to the entrance of the Bay, being sure to kick Satsuki's foot as he passed.]
All it means that I'm not in the Netherworld now is that I'll just have to conquer this place, and turn it into a Netherworld. Once we get a working dimensional gate, my castle - and most importantly my own bed - will be within reach!
[He grins, casting a glare back at Satsuki.]
I'm going to need vassals, y'know. And, if you apologize for ignoring me, I'll consider not just using your Prinny as a footstool once you buy it in battle.
no subject
[Lieutenant.. Unfortunate, that. Satsuki's brow twitches upon having her foot kicked, and meets Laharl's glare with one of her own.
She has to give him credit, though, he put together a plan rather quickly, even if she doesn't believe it's a very good one. But that isn't her problem.
Still, it's clear she's not pleased with him. She murmurs to the fallen angel once more.]
Your work is going to be twice as difficult now, Lieutenant Flonne. I suggest you teach him something about diplomacy as soon as possible.
no subject
L-Laharl-san...
[But can she really say this surprises her? No. Glancing back to Satsuki... Lieutenant... She's not familiar with being called that, but rolling with the punches.]
Uhm... That might be a little hard to do...
[She's been trying to do something like that for a long time now.]
Why, though?
no subject
Diplomacy? With these idiots running about? Lady talking doesn't get you anywhere. You want change, you gotta do it yourself.
[He grins, purple flames swirling around him for dramatic effect.]
Last chance for that vassal position~!
no subject
[Satsuki notes, giving Flonne a looks that suggests she won't be taking 'no' as an answer. And with that she looks to Laharl and seems a bit taken aback by his stance.
Oh, and the sword thing.. And the flames.. Well then!
It's possible Laharl may accomplish something noteworthy in the future, but commiting to him now is simply out of the question, last chance or no.]
Is that what you believe? I will get back to you on your offer, then.
Brain fart sorry.
[Sure the pamphlet said Genessia, but she'd never heard of that place before.]
I have those all the time. <3
Doesn't matter where we are. Just gotta conquer it and figure out the details later.
And as for you, Suzuku... [...Yeah, he didn't pay attention to your name, sorry Satsuki.] ...You don't get that chance. You have to decide now.
It's fine~.
If she weren't herself, she'd tease him about ruling a giant seventeen-layer cake. Instead she frowns even harder at the mangling of her name, and conteplates leaving right then and there. However there's something abuot Flonne that makes her decide she can't exit without providing a little information.]
I am also a new arrival so I cannot provide all of the details.. But this is the city of Genessia, which is connected to four other cities via archways. Depending on the color of your jewel you should be able to access any matching color archways.
I'm certain it is the land of the living; it's populated by many humanoids, and I've yet to see other beings like yourselves about.
[Beat.]
I admit there are some areas I cannot reach so it is possible your Netherworld may be there.
no subject
[And then turning to Satsuki]
I see.... That is interesting.
no subject
...By the way, you missed it when it was on. I think one of the Prinnies has it taped though.
no subject
No, that is not what 'it would be like'. Knowledge has been and always will be power. I will not work with someone so green they do not understand something as simple as that.
[But if he lives through this, perhaps she'll make an offer in return regardless of his 'only one chance' rule. That should be interesting. She addresses Flonne once more.]
In a way, I suppose it is. Stay wise and alert, Lieutenant.
I look forward to seeing your and your Overlord's progress in the future.
no subject
[At least they recorded it.]
Uhm.. yes, of course.
no subject
[He shrugs, rolling his eyes at the "information is power" speech.]
Information is information. Power is power. If I needed to rely on strategy and couldn't just crush anything that came at me, I wouldn't be cut out to be Overlord.
no subject
I see. Well I've said my piece; until next time.
[Satsuki marches forward and intends to brush by Laharl to go along her not-so-merry way.]
no subject
[With that, she'll turn to Laharl. At least he was up now.]
What do we do now?
no subject
The same thing we do every Thursday, Flonne. Try to take over a world!
