[A: Video: Well now, he has to taunt everyone, but just how to do it...]
Seems like everything is getting a little interesting again, eh?
And for all those who don't find it so, check out the After Life Nightclub for all your nighttime and clandestine adult needs.
[Holds up a finger.] Except prostitution. Because my wife will kill you. And I'm not kidding.
[B: Library: Marco has always been a little bit of a bookworm, despite what some of his family might realize or think, but he's still boring his way through tomes and volumes, trying to study and glean all the universe's knowledge at once and comparing maps to try to put together a compilation. There's a good fifteen books stacked to his left, and rather than bother with ballpoint pens, he's using a quill to make his varying notes, please don't spill his ink.]
[C: Later at the Nightclub: He's hanging out near the bouncer, reading a book. In a nightclub. He also may or may not be sporting glasses frames that have no lens. Because he's a giant freaking dork from hell. But no, he's totally on the job. Totally.]
[D: Dungeons: You know what is the worst place ever to try to fly and fight? A dungeon. Why is he in the ruins again? "Training?" This was a bad idea. There's a blue phoenix kicking skeletons and bugbears and occasionally swearing loudly in squawks. He misses fighting at the Garden.]
[E: Private for Espio:]
Kiddo, we need to talk.

Kiddo, we need to talk.

[C: Later at the Nightclub:
[Crystal works in one of the VIP rooms and while she's heard word of new hires she's yet to formally meet Marco. A light smile tugs at her lips while dark black fabric drapes and accents the lovely curves of her frame.
Unlike Marco, it looks like she's at work.]
I was taking a short break but perhaps I can fetch you something before I go.
[As a hostess she fetches and sees that customers are happy. No reason she can't do that for employees as well. Plus she very much enjoys talking to others.]

[Nods in greeting, but holds up a
winghand.] Nah, I'm good, thanks. You know Grell? I wasn't going to switch positions, but anything to keep her happy, eh?no subject
[Crystal flashes him a smile.]
If there is anything I can get you please let me know.
no subject
[A wink right back.] Crystal, right?
[Because even though she hadn't said her name, Marco is a devious little birdie.]

[She continues to smile.]
It's nice to formally meet you Marco.

Dare I ask who would marry you, or should I just assume the fact that she will murder people is enough indication.
Not really, I think anyone who's known you for more than an hour could likely have made a guess like that. At least I can hope that if your wife frowns upon prostitution to such extreme levels she might keep you a little bit in check... but that's a very small hope indeed.
You don't remember me do you?
Can't say I do Little Miss Moppet. You're not one of Big Ma'am's daughters, are you?
Certainly not! I shudder to even think about being associated with someone with a name as odious as 'Big Ma'am'!

He doesn't engage the phoenix beyond letting him know he's there and calmly looks over the shelves; though not searching for anything particular]

[He can't tell if this is to taunt him or not, however. After all, it IS a public library. Why wouldn't the marine have his own business there?]
[Marco keeps a half eye on Kuzan to see what section of books he's at, but continues on his notes.]
[And then clears them, and replaces with a large rolled up paper disecting what appears to be a singular metal arm, but clearly with diamond workings. 8|]

Oops.
It slipped, yoi.

I don't doubt.
[he shelves the book and then returns the ink]
Yours, I believe.

WHATHCA READIN' THERE PINEAPPLE-HEAD
For now he'd count on the tall one's sloth to render any influence he might have impotent. What really concerns PC is what the patient is reading. Something to do with charts, obviously. Navigation? If that's all it was, he could rest content that nothing very different was likely.
But if not...he better have a look at those titles.]
Trash :V
[And he's had enough of that today already.]
[However: There are some medical textbooks in there about nerve endings, and mechanical limbs. Bit strange for a man who regrows his own naturally.]
Re: Trash :V
Not just philosophy, but poetry, history, letters, plays, novels...hell, even romances can suggest things that ought to be kept out at all costs. The Enemy would literally use every trick in the books.
But this all seemed like business as usual. Better keep an eye on that medical book, just in case...]

[Only to switch to human briefly.]
Oi oi, I keep forgetting...
Climb on yoi.
[Back to phoenix.]
I can talk in a way you can hear now, yoi. In case you forgot, eh? Something to do with this place.
no subject
[He hasn't forgotten. He just... didn't think it was because of this place, specifically. He climbs on, snuggling slightly into the feathers because warm - human shape or not, he's still cold-blooded.]
You know nobody likes being told 'we need to talk', right? That's code for 'you're in trouble now'.
