[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Beat The Heat
The Ice Cream shop “What A Scoop” in Genessia City will be offering free ice cream between 1PM and 2PM for the next several days. Ice Cream shops in the other cities are running a similar deal at different times of the day. It’s no surprise with the summer heat settling in.
So if the deal interests you, you might want to take advantage while you can! No doubt some of the shops might end up running low on certain flavors before the day is out. This writer is a fan of Rocky Road, because it is the best ice cream.
CEO's Assistant Murdered
The assistant to the CEO of the pharmaceutical company “Health+” in Genessia City was found murdered. Angela Saintella was mugged while going home for the night. A stab wound appears to be her cause of death, but an official autopsy will need to be done before it can be ruled the cause of death. The man that police believe to be the murderer was also found dead, having been struck by a car as he fled the scene of the crime.
Angela Saintella’s purse and belongings were found next to the man’s body. Police haven’t identified him yet, but they are working on it. Angela’s boss, Riley Eval, is distraught over her death. They two had worked side by side since before he was named the CEO of Health+. He couldn’t be reached for comment, but unnamed sources from inside the company says everyone is taking it hard.
Friends and family of Angela can’t believe something like this would happen. They said Angela was always volunteering her time to those in need and donating when she had the chance. She even organized charity events for Health+.
It's a Puppy Prison Break!
With the tragic loss of the employees of Whatevfur, the City of Genessia has embarked on a humanitarian project to host all of the city's animals and recycle unused resources in the city. The abandoned Genville Penitentiary has been renovated to hold puppies instead of prisoners, giving them much more room than the standard animal shelter to provide plenty of space and resources to keep animals healthy until they can find someone to "bail" them out.
However, keep in mind that this Sunday, July 17th from 11am-1pm will be the new Puppy Prison's opening celebration: Prison Break! Adopt animals without an adoption fee during the event only. All adoption fees and donations on other days go to keeping the Puppy Prison open and the animals healthy. Despite the name, the shelter will host a number of potential pets waiting to be brought home.
Fayren Unearthed Pt4
As the heat rises in Fayren, a new ruin has been discovered. This one seems temperature appropriate as just going near it, you can feel a rise in the temperature. It appears based at the foot of a mountain, which doesn’t appear to be large enough to contain what is inside of it. The heat level hasn’t been measured, but if you plan to venture in, you may want to bring along something to keep yourself hydrated as well as wear clothes that don’t retain too much heat.
Water based abilities don’t appear to work inside while fire based abilities seem to have their strength doubled. Deep exploration hasn’t been conducted, as archaeologist don’t want to risk being in the heat for too long. Merchants are selling Frost Charms that can help you stay cool. They last for about an hour before becoming ineffective. While activated, a cooling aura is placed around the person that wears it.

Chambers & Wyverns Pt 4 (Into The Fire):
A new ruin has been discovered in Fayren. Like previous ones, this one has both monsters and treasures inside. The number of monsters or what type are in there aren’t known, but based on accounts n what the place is like, it can be assumed fire type creatures are lurking around. Archaeologist and Merchants are offering up money for items recovered from the ruins. Maps leading to the ruins can be acquired at a local tavern and a warning about the dangers will be given to those that come to get one.Special Bounty Note:
There is no limit to how many people can accept this bounty. Everyone is welcomed to go alone or form a party. There is no level payment for this, instead those that post here accepting it will be given a randomized item that will be found during their exploration (For parties, each member will receive an item). The item can be sold to a peddler or archaeologist for a payment level between 1 – 5 or be kept instead of sold. An open log can be found here, but people are welcomed to make their own logs for it. An anonymous tip has been given that within the ruins, a group of cultist are attempting to perform some sort of ritual. What the goal and what will happen should it be completed aren’t known, but a level 4 payment is being offered to anyone that can put a stop to it.Attleton
