[So Ace got wopped in the mouth by a newspaper crashing through the window. He has to find that news coo so he can tip him because what great service! He gets to be the first one to read it even around the damp sections.

But he also found something that could not be borne.

A Puppy Prison.

Who would do such a horrible thing?

Well whoever would do it, Ace wouldn't tolerate it.

He takes some time to strategize, and then around 1pm, sends this video out to everyone]

Puppies were meant to be free! I won't let anyone hold them hostage under my watch! No matter what they've done!

[and he throws back his head and howls, a few of the dogs howling with him, before the jail break commences.

And after?]

[There may be one approaching dog that's a little older than all the little puppies. And the only one that actually has a collar. With a happy bark, a certain german shepherd had wandered over to Weiss, and was quite excited to see her again!

Which, of course, meant a certain cyborg was nearby too. And he was immediately looking around for Gunner to see which direction he went when he realized his buddy had wandered off. If Weiss looks up at the right time, she might get to see Gale get bowled over by an adult saint bernard while he was distracted.]

[ She certainly looks suspicious about that dog for a few moments before she realizes who it is. ]

Gunner?

[ Wait- She looks up just as Gale is halfway to the ground, raising an eyebrow in the slightest bit of concern, but mostly she judgin'. ]

Come here Gunner, I'd be embarrassed of him too.

[Gunner barks again, looking up at Weiss with a wagging tail. Meanwhile, Gale would have a sassy comment for that... if he'd heard it. Instead he's laying on the ground for a few moments before sitting up, putting a hand to his head.]

Anyone get the number of the truck that hit me?

[At least he's fine. Until he puts a hand up to his face and realizes his sunglasses fell off in the process. Where are they? They'd conveniently landed on the muzzle of a nearby puppy, who frankly, just looks confused that it has glasses now.]

[ Weiss at least does him the favor of getting his sunglasses for him, kneeling down beside him and holding them out. ]

Do you have food on you? That might explain why you're getting bowled over.

[He looks over to her and smiles, taking his sunglasses from her. She was the last person he expected to see, and really, he was glad.]

Maybe. I do have a few snacks and water bottles on me for Gunner given the weather. Or that dog might've just had it out for me. I wouldn't blame it.

[Ever the joker, this one. He gets back to his feet, then offers Weiss a hand to get back up.]

'least now I know why Gunner ran off. Didn't bother you, did he?

[ She takes the hand to be polite. Despite her heels, she's probably got the best balance of anyone in Genessia, so she definitely doesn't need help getting up- but she's not rude either. At least intentionally so. ]

Of course not.

[ Dogs are never a bother, ever. ]

[Gale was slightly internally surprised that she accepted his help, if only because she carried that "strong independent woman" vibe. But he also was glad she didn't snub him.]

Glad to hear it. He gets a little carried away around people he really likes.

[Gunner adds a bark into the conversation while looking up at Weiss. Meanwhile the white puppy had wandered over, sniffing at Weiss and Gale.]

Looks like you have another fan too. [He frowns a bit.] I hope these dogs will be okay out in this weather.

[ She does, but she was also brought up with proper lady-like manners. You don't just start behaving like a wild mess because you've found yourself and like who that person is. Or, well, she did until her self-worth was completely shattered in the Battler fiasco. ]

I think they'll be fine, but I'll keep an eye out. I'm sure someone just let them out.

[ What on earth this dog.. Weiss eyes it. ] I already have pets, you know.
