[So Ace got wopped in the mouth by a newspaper crashing through the window. He has to find that news coo so he can tip him because what great service! He gets to be the first one to read it even around the damp sections.

But he also found something that could not be borne.

A Puppy Prison.

Who would do such a horrible thing?

Well whoever would do it, Ace wouldn't tolerate it.

He takes some time to strategize, and then around 1pm, sends this video out to everyone]

Puppies were meant to be free! I won't let anyone hold them hostage under my watch! No matter what they've done!

[and he throws back his head and howls, a few of the dogs howling with him, before the jail break commences.

And after?]

[ She can't help laughing at that line. ]

You can still come with me? Maybe the employees there will let us play with them still in exchange for returning them.

Yeah. Maybe. [Shrugs, petting a few of them.] Was it the new shelter?

I believe so.

[ She's prompting the big puppy off of her lap and prompting some of the more tired looking ones. If she had thought to take her coat with her she could have offered them shade or something... If only she had cold water for them too.

After a beat, she'll approach Jaune and hold out her hand in greeting. ]

Forgive me for not saying sooner. My name is Adela, and it is good to meet you.

I don't know where that is.

[More like he's not great with directions. With his hoodie and bad hair and stubble and tired eyes he probably looks older than 17. He hesitates and she might notice his hand trembling when he shakes hers.]

Jaune.

[ What a coincidence! Adela is also 17, though with how small she is and how young she looks it could be easy to mistake her for a much younger teenager.

She does notice his hand trembling, and her smile disappears immediately as she looks up at him again. ]

... Perhaps we should find a building nearby after all, Jaune. Let the dogs have some water and some rest out of the sun before making our way back there. We have time to look it up on the map that way.

[ And maybe get him some rest too, though she keeps that much to herself for the moment. ]

[This is part of the self-imposed responsibility of protecting all the puppies too. He nods and glances at the street signs again.]

I think I saw one back that way.

[More of the dogs are starting to look tired. He feels kind of bad.]

[ Once Jaune agrees she gestures for him to take the lead, though soon enough she seems horribly amused as she's essentially starting to become buried in the puppies on her chair. Easiest place for them to rest while they're being transported, after all. ]

They are really cute... The person I live with and I are thinking of adopting a couple if they do not already have owners.

I think that's more than a couple. [He glances back over his shoulder, guiding some of the dogs who have still chosen to walk. He might be picking up a few or five while he does.]

...They are cute.

I know, but we only mean to keep two - we have already chosen them.

[ She smiles down at the fluffy Tibetan Mastiff puppy trotting at the side of the wheelchair. ]

This little boy is mine. I have yet to choose a name for him.

[He slowly holds out the back of his hand for the puppy to sniff if he wants.]

He's big. Does anything stand out about him to you?

Well, his fur - Most of it is so black... I cannot imagine he is too comfortable in this weather.

[ The puppy seems perfectly happy to sniff at Jaune's hand before licking at his fingers. ]

I know someone named Blake... I don't think you should name him after her. I think they have books for this.

[But he doesn't read them. There's the smallest, meek hint of a smile as he pets him.]

Well, at least I know something not to name him.

[ She might be grinning just a little. ]

Are you thinking of adopting any of them, Jaune?

Yeah I don't think she'd appreciate that.

Probably not. I already have one. I named him Snow because of Weiss.

I can think of a name later if need be, if nothing else.

Though, I am not certain what Miss Weiss has to do with snow?

[ Other than that they're both white, but that seems like a rather silly reason. ]

True. I'm sure one will come up.

I...I mean, I think her name means White Snow. And she uses ice a lot. And it just makes sense? [He looks away awkwardly. And there are the nicknames like snow angel an ice queen, but he won't go into that.]

I had no idea her name meant such a thing. I suppose it would make sense, though.

Do you admire her that much, then?

[ Oh thank goodness air conditioning. She breathes a sigh of relief at the blast of cooler air once they enter a pet-friendly building, and she slumps a little in her chair once she's clear of the door. Much better, she thought she was going to overheat... ]

No. I mean...yes. I do. She's my friend and I trust her. [More than anyone.] But I did it because her dog is named Frost and I couldn't think of anything and Snow really bonded with me and he reminds me of snow.

[A lot of the puppies seem happier once they get inside. Jaune sinks against the wall, which is apparently an invitation for several to crowd around and start sniffing or licking him.]

[ Why is Jaune so awkward about that question? It gets Adela's attention, but soon enough she's distracted by the puppies that were in her lap barking and jumping off before the bigger puppy jumps up to lick at Adela's face. ]

Hey!! Stop that you!!

[ Even if she is attempting to scold him, she can't help smiling and laughing at the affection shown. Too cute, how is she going to train him if she can't get him to stop doing what he wants!? ]

[Jaune is just awkward don't overthink it Adela. Lifting up his head, he glances over in her direction.]

I don't think that's going to convince him.

I know~ But unfortunately he is too cute to stay cross with.

[ BRB mushing the puppy's face a bit. ]

That's your fault for choosing him.

[He absentmindedly pets some of the other puppies.]

I... Haha... I will simply have to train him better, is all...

[ Still giggling. The dog gives off a bark as if to respond to her after a moment. ]
