Operation 9 | [Log]
Who: Gale Reinhardt and Toby Allaway
What: Flames of Rage bounty
Where: Nova City
When: July 18
Warnings: Fire and dog puns. Also probably violence.
[Gale was starting to realize that he was slowly getting past the stage of 'absolutely livid and potentially violent towards the paperboy' and was just starting to get used to it and expect it every two weeks. At least the annoying brat had the decency to throw the paper through an open window this time. If anything, it was at least impressive to have watched Gunner catch the rolled up paper in his mouth.
But, as usual when he eventually reads the paper (after silently fuming about it), he would immediately take up a bounty that has a cyborg culprit involved. He has no idea if the Red Claw was involved or not, but he never liked it when he saw yet another renegade cyborg off to give the honest working cyborgs like Gale a bad name. Assholes.]
"Fire streams of fire?" Who the hell writes for this shitty paper?
[Well, regardless of the horrendous writing, Gale would be later found the next day decked out in his usual purple gear and sitting on his motorcycle. He tapped his fingers against the handlebars impatiently. He didn't mind sharing bounties with people, but there was always the fear in the back of his head that he'd have someone who didn't know what they were doing. Or a repeat of when he met Krillin and he be the one accused of being the culprit.
Either way, he wanted this one over quick. The others were threats in their own right, but he didn't like waiting when he knew this guy was capable of shooting fire. Looks like ice magic was going to be the way to go this time.
And another reason why he didn't like waiting? This weather sucked. He wanted to get back into air conditioned buildings as soon as he could.]

He can't help that he likes motorcycles.]
So, what's the plan?
[If they don't have one Toby's going to go by his standby, track it and then attack it. He doesn't like over thinking things and he has a good nose.]
no subject
We find the guy, disarm and incapacitate him, and bring him in. He'll be fine if he happens to lose a limb or two. He's a cyborg.
[Basically, business as normal, Toby. Track n' attack.]
no subject
Noted. Do we have anything of his or a last location?
[If he can catch a sent then he can track him down. It’s something that Toby is used to doing and he really doesn’t mind looking weird in front of Gale. Gale’s already seen him do some weird stuff…]
no subject
Nothin' of his except scorch marks he left behind, which should be adequate enough. No place intentionally scorches the street just because they can. We got reports from him being seen at the northern sector of the city, so that's as good a place to start as any.
[He'll smirk a little, despite being rather cranky about the weather.]
We'll track 'im down either way. Mark my woof.
[Gale what]
no subject
That's the best you got?
[He waves at Gale.]
Come on, let's go fetch. Am I to walk and met you there?
[Toby has no means of transportation despite Cas's efforts to get him a bike.]
no subject
That sounded funnier in my head. Cut me some slack, it's really hot out here.
[He could weasle a pick up line in there, but he's more concerned with this cyborg guy.]
Nah, makin' you walk would be pretty appawlling. Hop on. Just make sure you let me know if you sniff him out before I get any visuals.
no subject
When we get close I'll sniff him out.
[He almost said 'snuff' or attempted a pun of his own though he manages to contain his urge.]
