[Action] "RAIN" on the Heat!

Who: Sakura, THE RAIN card, and YOU
What: 100-112 degF heat all month long? Have some unscheduled rain.

Notes: Start your own thread reacting to the random rain and/or find Sakura leaving the scene.

[A certain little girl was concerned that this heat wave would cause considerable problems for plant life and water reserves. Not to mention the people who have to be outside in this weather. Fires could become more likely if things are too dry. Hiding herself away in a empty alleyway, Sakura pulled a key-shaped pendant from under her shirt.]

[The key began to float between her open hands as a magic circle appears beneath her. She was speaking a incantation clearly.]

"Key that hides the power of the dark, show your true form before me. I, Sakura, command you under our contract. Release!"

[The key expanded and transformed into a staff. Taking the transformed staff, Sakura tosses out a peculiar card which hovered in the air in front of the girl. Twirling the staff quickly, she recites another incantation.]


"Water the land to preserve its life! RAIN!"

[Tapping the face of the card, the card flashed and shimmered as thick wisps shot into the sky at amazing speeds. Soon, rain clouds began to form above Genessia. Among one of the clouds, pop goes an adorable blue girl.]


[With a playful giggle, THE RAIN rode her clouds over Genessa, gently showering it in rain to give the plants a drink and maybe help cool off the weary residents. After roughly 10 minutes, the rain stops, the clouds break up and vanish, along with the blue girl.

However, if anyone went looking for the source of the wisps, they would not find some powerful weather-changing wizard, but instead little Sakura looking completely normal, except for how she got rained on. Those who are magically inclined can tell magic was performed here, though. How curious.]

[ The rain is a welcome relief. Adela is in the garage when she sees it beginning to pour, smiling a little as the air feels like it's cooling off at least a little bit. She almost wants it to last longer, honestly...

... Wait. What are those?

Something about the rain seems... Off. What are those wisps after?

With telling Smoker that she's going out for a while, Adela starts following them by herself. It's a little hard to follow, and she seems surprised when she's led to a very familiar little girl.

Adela stares for a moment, then looks around before turning back to Sakura. ]

Pardon me... Miss Sakura, have you seen someone here recently?

[ It seems like there are traces of... Whatever she was following still in the area. It's hard to recognize as she hasn't seen it a whole lot, and if she didn't know better... Does she know better? It almost looks like... Magic? ]

[Sakura seemed surprised that someone found her here. She shook her head and seemed quite sincere and innocent in her response.]

"No, I haven't. Were you looking for someone?"

"Not exactly... I suppose you could say I was following something.

There really was no one else here?"

[ Hm... Wait.

It would explain why her magic hadn't scared Sakura, but... Really? ]

"... Did you cause the rain, then?"

[She let out a short giggle.]

"That's silly! How can I cause it to rain?"

"In the same manner that I used the bench the other day in order to stop the dogs from running loose. With magic."

[ She raises a brow at Sakura, watching for her reactions carefully now. ]

[Sakura seems to be getting nevous now.]

"T-there must be some mistake... I can't do magic."

[What is she going to do!?]

[ ... She's not entirely sure if Sakura is being truthful. Adela wants to give her the benefit of the doubt, but... ]

"... That is why I was asking if you had seen anyone else, Miss Sakura. There are traces of it still here, though they are fading fast."

[ She leans back in the chair, sighing after a moment. It's clear that whether she is or not, the conversation is making the smaller girl really uncomfortable. ]

"Whether it was or not... I suppose it is not something I need to know. It was simple curiosity for the wisps I had seen and where they led that has brought me here."

[Sakura does feel a bit bad. But Kero specifically told her to keep it a secret.]

"...What will you do if you found whoever made the rain?"

"Nothing."

[ That question does throw her off a little, but she's going to answer honestly. ]

"I was indulging my curiosity, nothing more."

Action;

[Sakura couldn't figure out what else to say at first.]

"I'm sorry you didn't find what you're looking for. Maybe it will happen again?"

"Perhaps it will."

[ She smiles for Sakura, reaching out to gently ruffle her hair. Come on, don't make that face at her... ]

"Do not worry over it, whether it does or not I think whatever responsible is really considerate. If it was not just a normal rain shower, that is. Perhaps I will get the chance to catch them and say thank you next time."

"It definitely will!"

[Because Sakura plans to use THE RAIN every few days until the heat wave breaks.]

"And I'm sure the 'Rainmaker' knows you're thankful, even if you don't meet him."

"I still intend to try and find them myself regardless, I would rather say so in person."

[ She nods to Sakura, then pulls back a little before waving. ]

"You take care now, all right?"

[Fai had been walking the pokemon, taking them to a place where they can fight to there hearts content, only to find instead a small rainfall.

Hand outstretched he let the drops hit his hand before looking at the pols that had begun to form. He could already tell it wasn't the normal weather. There was magic behind it and he could tell where about it had been coming from as well.

So within minutes he turned the corner and smile slightly, not letting the other know that he had a single inkling as to what is going on.]

Nice weather that just randomly appeared, don't you think?

[Sakura was about to leave to head home, but stopped as soon as someone approached. She smiled at him.]

"Yes! I'm sure all the plants and people working outside were happy for it to happen."

[truesmiles]

True, but it makes me wonder what cause it, hm?

[Hands behind his back, his eyes glanced up slightly.]

I'd say magic, don't you think?

[powerisphwee]

"Phwee?"

[There's something just slightly unnerving about him. A mystery. Is she even able to hide her secret from him?]

"Magic is the cause?"

[truesmiles]

[He pointing his finger upward briefly.]

There had been. Coming from the sky exactly. Takes someone who uses magic to know and sense magic.

"You can use magic?"

[Use and sense? She needs to stay calm or else that alone will blow her secret.]

I can. Have been able to for years.

[He didn't exactly hide it, but then again he had no reason to really use it.]

[powerisphwee]

"That's really nice. Maybe I should hurry back home. It's been nice talking to you. Bye!"

[Sakura was clearly nervous around him as she made an attempt to excuse herself before he calls her out on her Clow magic.]

[He waved slightly.]
