[Trunks's arrival goes as per normal. He wakes up in confusion, finds the things on his person, and listens to the hologram. At this point, the only thing he can think of to do is listen to the advice he found, and visit the welcoming center.

Though before he does, he rises into the sky and unleashes some energy. He begins to power up, but just as he's on the cusp of going Super Saiyan, he stops and lets his power level fall back down. If anyone he trusts from his world is here, that's the best way to get their attention. Then he leaves the Bay area.

It's late afternoon when Trunks walks into the Schnee Welcoming Center, looking around for whatever he can find. Eventually, he may approach an employee and ask for help.]

Excuse me, you work here, yes? I was wondering if you could help me out here.

[The feed shows a young man in his early twenties with lavender hair and piercing blue eyes. The edges of a blue jacket can be seen, as well as what looks like the handle to a sword strapped to his back. He also has a serious expression on his face.]

So, everybody that ends up here gets one of these devices, right? So you can all see and hear me right now.

I'm a new arrival here, though you probably guessed that by my first question. I was wondering if anyone had any important info for me that wouldn't have been covered in the kiosk outside the place where I woke up. Also, the message had said this was safer than most places. How safe are we talking here? Unfortunately, "safer than where I came from" is a pretty low bar, so I'd like to be prepared in advance.

Also, what may have changed since that recording was made? Has anyone made headway on how to get out of here?

[Trunks listens with rapt attention. But as time goes on, his eyes widen and his jaw drops open. That is a lot of information to process.]

As for the sword, yes and no. I do most of my fighting nowadays without it. But it's good to have in a pinch.

It was pretty safe until Frieza showed up saying he owns the place. But that's being worked on.

[Well. THAT was a nasty shock. Not to mention a double header. At least he can be civil around Android 18, even if looking at her gives him mixed emotions. He knows perfectly well that the androids from the main timeline aren't the genocidal maniacs that he grew up fighting, but there's just that gut reaction.

But she mentioned Frieza. Trunks still remembers as clear as day killing him with his own hands. Did someone bring him back to life with the Dragon Balls?]

[He cuts himself off and thrusts his hands into his hair. Dammit, this is too much. He's got to clear his head for a moment.]

Where is he? And who's dealing with him?

[Trunks focuses his senses outward to try to detect Frieza's energy signature. However, it's not in Genessia itself. Could he be in one of the other cities?]

[She's glad he's not reacting terribly to her, she wasn't in the mood to deal with more of this nonsense given the current situation. She sighs softly to herself, pushing herself off the dojo wall to head out the front door.]

I'm what? I assume, given how it worked out with the rest of us, that he's probably over in Nova City, though just look for his energy signature, you can't miss it. [Another brief moment of a pause, pushing some hair behind her ear out of habit.]

You're the fifth person from our world to show up here. You already know about Frieza from what I just told you and myself... Krillin and Vegeta are here as well, we're kind of banking on the latter if it comes down to it.

[The briefest bit of a thin-lipped smile.] We're trying to keep the damages to a minimum, so we're hoping he keeps his head down for the time being until we can get the plan into action, it'll keep anyone from getting harmed with how this place works. Krillin knows more about it than I do as he's been here the longest.

[Alicia was finishing her latest batch of bread when the young man enters her bakery. She smiles at him.]

"Hello, welcome to Homely Breads, where everything I bake is freshest guaranteed."

[Obligatory slogan out of the way... She notices the sword on his back, making her hesitate a moment. Chances are he's also from another world like she was.]

"I can certainly try. What sort of help do you need?"

[Trunks had been lured in by the smell. He doesn't have the same appetite as full-blooded Saiyans or even Gohan, but he still answers the call of his stomach.]

Ah, yes. I was wondering, if I continue down this street, will I be able to get to the Welcome Center?

[Alicia gives him a short series of directions. It should take him to the Welcome Center fairly quickly.]

"Is there anything else I can do for you?"

[startles at the sudden voice and drops the bottle of wine on the floor so that it shatters splashing everywhere... god he wished he hadn't been holding the red]

Uh-- s-sorry I don't actually work here...

[though he doesn't really feel the capacity to be able to do anything as he picks up the pieces and hopes the clerks aren't too mad at him]

[Without waiting for a response, Trunks heads over to the counter to ask for some paper towels. He comes back carrying a roll, rips off a few sheets, and begins wiping up the wine.]

[Conversely, Trunks's face goes into a scowl. He is definitely NOT happy to see Frieza again. Especially in a populated area.]

I had a feeling you'd try to contact me when I heard you were here. Either you never learn from your mistakes or you're simply a glutton for punishment.

[Best way to get someone's attention is right. It's been a weird day already with goddamn Frieza showing up, but there's no mistaking who that energy spike came from-- and there's no better way to get Vegeta out the door. He'd never admit to how fast he got from point A to point B, but that's besides the point.]

[So he lands close to his future son, pleased to see him, but still not totally on board with this affection and family thing to outwardly show it. He's doing his best okay.]

It's been a while. [Well, at least for Vegeta it has.]

[Trunks, on the other hand, bursts into a huge grin when he sees his father. If it had been anyone else he would have greeted them with a hug as well, but he knows that Vegeta isn't that kind of person.]

I'm sure people have already told you that there really is no headway about the whole escaping this place and safety of this place is... well you can never know what will happen one day or the next.

[Considering what he had been through and he hadn't expected, he knew that really anything was possible. it wasn't perfectly safe, that much he at least knew.]

[Angelo appears to be looking at papers on a near by bench in the Welcoming Center when he's spoken to. Although not employed there yet, it seems he's being mistaken for an employee and lifts his head to stare at the person who is speaking. When he does this however, his eyes grow wide and he's suddenly speechless. What in the name of the Goddess was he looking at? It was him, but not him. This person had so many different features to his own and yet their faces were completely identical. All he could do was continue staring at the other in front him as his mouth couldn't produce any words.]

[Trunks, likewise, was shocked into speechlessness. The two of them looked eerily similar, right down to their hair styles. Was this just coincidence, or was there something else at work here?]
