Now that was a nap - arrival - OTA
He had set the doll in the chair, setting the automaton to look like it was working. It was really drawing a penguin. That done, he had fetched his pillow, blanket, and some cherry blossoms because it was fun to sleep covered in them, then curled up to sleep under the desk, tucked in where hopefully Suoh wouldn't find him for a few hours. He always felt a little sleepy when he looked at piles and piles of paper...
And then he awoke...somewhere else. His first thought was that he had been kidnapped again. A glance around showed that Suoh wasn't around anywhere. That was concerning. He slid his fan from his pocket and tapped it to his lips thoughtfully as he sat. The pamphlet, necklace, and communications device. He allowed himself the smallest frown before he picked up the pamphlet and read it, quickly memorizing the contents.
Nokoru took out the money and studied it a moment. "I wonder how many oku this is..." He doubted it was terribly many. He tucked the money away carefully, then put on the necklace, tucking it under his button down shirt, doing up his tie again after. He stood carefully, looking around as he did.
He headed for the magazine stand, to learn more. The hologram could have been something from Clamp School, and the young lady it projected was lovely enough to be from the same. He listened intently to all that she had to say. Hologram or not, it was only polite to give a woman your full attention when she speaks, after all.
When she finished, he eyed the green line pensively. He didn't mind being around other children, of course, but it might not be safe for them to be close to him. He considered carefully. He didn't know the monetary system here yet. That would have to change. Still, if he were cautious the others should be safe.
Alright, he would do as much as he could to earn enough to gain a proper house as soon as he could. Until then... he would do what he had done before he had met Suoh. He would make sure to not get too close to any one person, and he would do what he'd been doing recently, solving the problems of young ladies the world over.
He tapped the fan against his lips once more, then spread it open, revealing the words "time to explore!" Well, until Suoh and Akira found a way to bring him home, this place could be fun enough. Earning the money he needed to live as he was used to could take a few weeks, and he might even have to work... but he doubted it. Still...
He fanned himself, and the fan now read "ADVENTURE!". That settled, he went off to find this detective agencies..... He had a few other places to sign up for, to earn some money as well. He could do some lecturing at the university, at least that was fun. As was being a detective. Ah, he was sure he would be fine...

Action;
And right on cue, Sakura turns the corner, a school bag in hand, heading towards the K&H Home for Children. She doesn't say anything to Nokoru as she passes, only giving him a polite smile in greeting and continues on.]

So as she comes close enough, he beams her a bright smile. "Good afternoon, lovely maiden." He bowed deeply, and as he stood opened his fan.

[Well, that escalated quickly and came as a flattering surprise. It was just a simple pass on the street. How was she going to respond to that? At the least, she politely bowed.]
"Um... Good afternoon?"

"Me? To, um, my room. At the Home."
no subject
The home? The same place where he would be living until he could afford his mansion? Interesting.
no subject
[He's nice enough, atleast.]
"I'm Sakura Kinomoto."

no subject
"Um, hi! N-nice to meet you."
[Once they finally started walking, her movements would be rather tense from her mild confusion, and is the reason why she went quiet suddenly.]
no subject
"Nice to meet you as well. Do you find you like it here, Kinomoto-jo?"
no subject
[She kept having dreams of her life in Tomoeda continuing as normal. These persistent dreams keep Genessia feeling surreal. Eventually, she managed a smile at Nokoru.]
"But everything will surely be all right."

"D-Do you live in Genessia, Imonoyama-san?"

[Sakura can see the K&H Home for Children a short ways away.]
"We'll be at the Home soon. Since you just arrived, do you know where you'll be staying?"
no subject
Her school, not his. He... was going to have to earn money. Which meant making Suoh proud, because it meant he had to find a job. Still there were some promising leads in the pamphlet. He tapped his fan lightly against his lips as he thought.

"Oh, I forgot... I still need to pick a school to go to. I guess I'll use the video phone and ask for suggestions..."

[Even though she hates math. And soon, they were at the front door of the Home for Children.]
"And here we are. The K&H Home for Children. I hope you'll like it here."

"I like your fan. Anyway, it's a small house, so we'll see each other a lot. I'll see you again soon, Imonoyama-san."
[Sakura bows and takes her leave, heading towards her room.]
