Ain't no party like a swimming pool party!

Who: Nagisa and pretty much anyone who wants to come.
What: Swimming Pool Party!
Where: Sametobi Swim Club
When: July 23rd
Warnings: Depends on what happens. Will add warning if things crop up.

[Nagisa had been given the okay to throw the party, which was always a good thing. So Nagisa had managed to send out invites to pretty much most people who are on the device list to say there would be a party on the 23rd. So when the day finally arrived, Nagisa had made sure to have an area where there was food set up and nice cold drinks in a cooler. he had also made sure there was a chest filled with floating loungers, rings and other swimming toys or games one would usually find at a pool party.

When he had finished setting up, he was already in his own swimming trunks, standing by the entrance and pretty much greeting anyone who arrived with a smile.

He just hoped people would have a good time.]

[Of course Airy is going to show up to Nagisa's pool party. She loves hanging with friends, the water and any chance to swim is one that she'll take. She's also invited a few people to this party knowing that it was imminent. There is a bounce in her step as she walks into the pool area. She's wearing a new bathing suit and her usual bright smile.

She brought her own towel and drops it on a reclining chair with her cover. This chair will be hers and it is claimed with her things. She also places a small bag on the chair which has a change of clothes for when she's done swimming.

Airy nears the pools edge slow, her bare feet whispering across the concrete. She dips a toe into the water feeling the cold bite at her skin. It feels amazing though she's thinking of wading into the water instead of jumping in. She's yet to make up her mind in the matter.]

[Nagisa had already dived right in, for once not to practice, but more to just have fun as he swam over.]

Hi~! Planning on going for a swim.

I don't want to jump on you.

[Airy smiles before running and jumping and landing on the other side of Nagisa in a splash of water.]

[He laughed slightly as he watched her jump in, splashes of water hitting him before looking over.]

Well you could have before I came over you know.

[Airy's head breaks the surface of the water with a smile.]

I didn't know if I should just in or wade in. It's a little cold.

Just jump in, sooner you do the quicker you get warm.

[Plus it's just easier than taking ones time by wading in.]

[Airy smiles at him.]

That's why I did jump in.

[She floats to the edge of the pool so she has something to hold onto.]

[He moved to float on his back for the time being.]

Good. Because that is what I always do. Plus it's more fun to do that.

[He hadn't come with anything more than the clothes on his back, and didn't have his swimsuit from home, so he'd spent his time in water, well... skinny dipping. But he'd only done that by himself and certainly didn't want to do it here, so he'd found himself a pair of trunks for the occasion. It was the first time he'd really had to shop for clothes instead of them being custom-made in years, so he just picked the first plain old pair he saw. It wasn't like he was a super model, he doubted anyone was going to be checking him out, anyway.

He changed inside, piling up his items carefully, looking at them as if he was worried something was going to happen and leaving them reluctantly. He wasn't a materialistic person, but it was all he had from home. He didn't want to lose any of it.

Glancing around nervously, he made his way to the pool to sit on the top step. His eyes darted around, watching what other people were doing. He wasn't sure what he should do or who he should talk to, and somehow he felt more naked here than he did skinny dipping by himself.]

[With a towel on his head, Nagisa was walking around, checking to see if everyone was having fun because that was what mattered to him. However when he spotted the guy by himself he made his way over.]

Hey, you okay?

[He glanced up, a little confused. It wasn't that Nagisa had asked anything wrong, but he thought he was asking if Bracken was in any danger. He paused, and nodded his head. Nothing was going to hurt him.]

Th-This is the first... the first time I'm swimming w-without my friends.

[At home they had some favorite spots to go to, even if no one in particular in his group was obsessed with swimming. At parties like this with them he was quiet, too, but he knew them and felt less awkward. Especially since Thistle always talked to him. Here... he didn't know many. Not yet. And he wasn't someone particularly good at taking the first step.]

I-I wonder how long it'll be. Until... Until I see them again.

[Ted had said they would meet again, and he believed that. Why would Ted lie? But it was kind of lonely waiting.]

[He shrugged slightly. He had no way of giving him an exact answering considering, but he frowned slightly going to sit down.]

No one really knows. It's luck here. As much as I don't like this place for it. Bringing people here only to then take them way.

O-Oh...

[He wasn't quite sure about the taking away part. He'd only heard of people being brought here, not anything about them disappearing.

He stared at the water for a moment before asking...]

How, how long did it take for y-your friends to get here?

I arrived with some of them, so not long there. Another friend arrived a few months later but... he wasn't around for very long.

[He sighed slightly, thinking about it made him sad.]

Out of everyone whose come, only one friend from my world is here.

Not... Not around...?

[Since all he'd learned was that there was no way for him to just go home, he wasn't really sure what happened.]

Where did they go?

I don't know, I like to think back home.

[They had no way of knowing where they actually went, at least he was sure of that.]

I-Is there a way back home?

[He tilted his head. It was worth knowing, if there was one. It had sounded like there wasn't, so he'd given up trying to go back for the moment.]

Not willingly, no.

[He shrugged otherwise rubbing the towel on his head, making sure his hair wasn't dripping for the time being.]

I-Is there a way to know when... when you can go back?

It's sudden I always assume, so I don't think so.

[At least that was a major guess on his part.]

O-Oh...

[He pouted. That meant more waiting, until his friends came there, or he went home, and he couldn't do anything.]

S-Sorry. That... That your friends are gone.

It's fine. They are back home following there dreams.

[Nagisa still would of had a year left to consider such a thing, but here it had been different. It hadn't taken him long for him to get some form of work he was interested in and worked his way up. It was strange now he thought about it.]

I found what I wanted to do here.

Wh-What do you do?

[He did smile, though, because Nagisa seemed to be happy.]

Here. I was a cashier for a sweet shop. But when the owner left I took over. So if you are ever in Fayren and come across Trick - And - Treat, that's where I work.

Wow, that... that sounds really great. And I stay in F-Fayren. I'll def... definitely visit sometime.

[It sounded pretty exciting, and delicious. He did like sweets.]

Good to hear and it can be great. The business side however isn't. It's hard work.

[He looked out at the pool, a slight smile passed by his lips.]

But I guess work is meant to be hard.

R-Really? What... What type of things do you have to do?

[He leaned in curiously. Candy shops just sounded like fun.]

It's mostly a lot of paperwork for the most part.

[He paused for a moment.]

Unless you meant the not business side.

P-Paperwork...

[That's why he wouldn't be able to run a business. He was a good worker, but all that legal stuff? No way he could keep track of that.]

B-But... It sounds like it would be s, so colorful, and p-playful.

Yep! it's the least fun part of the job, but I got no one else to do it. So I have to.

[Plus he has filled out papers before when they set up the swim club, but it was more advanced than that and he knew it.]

The actual making part is exactly like that though.

M-Maybe you can hire someone to do it?

[It did sound like a less fun part of the job.

He lazily slid off of the step, standing in the shallow water.]

D... Do you want to do anything?

I don't know, I mean I could, but I've not met anyone who could do it and wasn't busy themselves.

[So it was a hard thing to do if he had to be honest.]

You mean now? Well I'm taking a break from swimming right now to have a drink.

[Levy shows up mostly to support Nagisa. Before she'd never miss something like this and she feels a little obligated to go now. She isn't wearing a bathing suit but a light green dress. She only owns bikini's and has no interest in showing the scars that mar her stomach.

She takes a seat near the pools edge, her bare feet lightly kicking at the waves. The currents echo away from her motions and she finds the sound of the echoing water relaxing. Her palms press against the pools edge as she watches people play and have fun.

Levy feels more comfortable watching.]

[When Nagisa had seen her, he went to sit down next to her, a light smile on his face as he leant over slightly.]

I'm glad you came, but are you okay?

Yeah, I just wanted to watch.

[She pauses, hoping that it doesn't sound to weird.]

Is that okay?

That's fine, you mentioned only watching before.

[He smiled slightly as he went to sit down next to her.]

Yeah, I don't have a bathing suit.

[That she's comfortable wearing.]

Is it okay to just sit with you?

[If that is all they do, he really didn't mind so long as it was with a friend.]

[ Since one of the jobs she has is working the front desk, Sertoria can be found dressed in her makeshift Survey Corps uniform with her 3DMG on her as a precautionary matter. Like always, she has her jewelry on her as well, too. However, she hasn't really brought anything in which to wear today to enjoy the pool itself, which is fine. There's things that need to be done, after all.

For now, she's comfortable keeping watch to make sure that everyone's having fun. ]
