entry 1 (joint with akihiko sanada & shinjiro aragaki) | accidental video

[for_my_father]

[The last remaining Shadow crumbles and dissolves a short distance away, but Akihiko isn’t paying attention to it. There’s still an opponent left to fight. Someone strong… that will feed his lust for power. His mind is hazy, eyes glazed over in confusion, his body humming with the urge to attack.

Without saying a word, he rushes toward Shinji, swiftly closing the distance between them. When he gets close enough, Akihiko rears an arm back, then thrusts it forward with metallic claws fully bared.]

[It’s in this moment that he’s distracted with dealing out the final blow. Just as he turns to see how the other two are holding up, he’s given just enough time...to raise his hands to block a punch.] Aki, what the hell?!

[In site of how tightly he was holding onto his Evoker, the force of the blow was enough to knock it right out of his hand. With that, Shinjiro was lifting his hammer to assist in blocking anything else Aki might deal out.

Immediately after yelling at his best friend, he’s quickly moving back to avoid any further attacks from the boxer. In the short pause he’s granted from moving away, he realizes there’s a sharp burning sensation in his right forearm. He doesn’t even have to look at it to know he’s been given a pretty deep cut from those damn claws.

Crap, so, this must be what Charm looks like...]

Tch! Snap out of it, you idiot!

Aragaki! Sanada!

[ Mitsuru shouted out after a moment of confusion. The shadow disappeared and she had yet to recognize their new setting. The last shadow they just defeated charmed Akihiko. She had to de-charm him. Mitsuru moved in to back up Shinji seconds later, rapier aiming to block the claws from attacking any further with her rapier. Her evoker was in her other hand, and she was close to calling her persona to stop this. ]

[Another unexpected opponent! He hadn't been paying attention to this new one, but she definitely has his attention now. Akihiko’s lips curl with deadly excitement as his muscles tense up even more in anticipation. His other arm suddenly crashes into the weapons that are in his way, breaking the deadlock. He leaps back a few feet and starts to reach for his Evoker, when all of a sudden…

Akihiko doesn't remember how he fell unconscious, but when he wakes up with a start, he’s instantly greeted by a thick cloud of dizziness. Something is wrapped tightly around his body, holding him in place. With hurried desperation, he claws at the bindings, and eventually forces his way out of the cocoon. His head still feels foggy, absent of reason and logic… uncaring of the current situation.

All he wants to do is fight, feel the body of his opponent getting crushed under the force of his blows. Eyes devoid of emotion, Akihiko eases into his familiar battle stance, fists raised to take on whoever he happens to run across. Inside his mind, he can hear Polydeuces stirring in response to his desire, ready to be summoned at a moment’s notice.]

[Crap...

Everything almost seems to be happening in slow motion. Even his own actions. Between trying to make sure Aki doesn't hurt Kirijo...and making sure he doesn't get his own ass handed to him, he's in quite the dilemma. Because, there's also the matter of making sure they don't hurt their fellow SEES member.

Well, that is...until the sudden black out.

Next thing he knows, he's lying in total darkness. It's after realizing he shouldn't be there, that he begins forcing his way out of... whatever it is he's in. There's a pause as he carefully examines everything he's suddenly found himself with. All the while, he's kind of just...really confused. Where was he...before now?

Oh... right...he'd been in Tartarus, and...]

Aki!

[He'd been trying to kill him and-]

Shit, Kirijo, too!

[Damn it, what if Aki hurt her. But...he doesn't even begin to know where he even is, much less how to go about finding those two. His main priority is to find his best friend, of course, but...he's worried about her, as well.

Teeth clenched, he's running full-speed to find his idiot friend and fellow SEES member.]

Damn it, where the hell are you?

[ all the noise stirred her awake, and she didn't seem to be in the least bit pleased with the fact that she was woken up to the sound of voices panicking. With the voices panicking, she jolted awake too, looking around trying to figure out what in the world just happened. ]

Where am I?

[ She replied pushing herself up. This looked nothing like Tartarus and Mitsuru felt like she had been drained of all her energy. ]


What in the world is going on? Sanada! Aragaki! Respond!

[ With her own voice and Penthesilea sending out a signal to her teammates, she got up fully to search for them. Mitsuru had a rather serious look on her face as she forces herself to take action to find her teammates. ]

[Hours later… Akihiko is back to his senses, and no less aggravated. He looks down at the screen with some annoyance and impatience.]

Yeah, we got that much figured out. Hey, where the hell is this place?

[The no clothes factor doesn’t even faze the feisty boxer. He just wants to get the hell back home. Not having answers in some foreign place gives him a feeling of helplessness that he hates.]

Not that it really mattered. Akihiko didn’t care who he took on. He just needed to make sure he won the fight. Discretion and strategy were far from his mind as he casually left the room, both hands gripping tightly onto the metal claws. He was eager to run into someone – anyone – and feel that intoxicating rush of adrenaline surging through his body once more.]

[Virgo was shopping. Or rather, she was what some might call 'window shopping'. There was really no point in her trying on anything since she had no intention of buying but it was rather interesting to see this area's style in clothing. As a constellation it was easy to fall behind and she couldn't very well let Lucy become out-dated.

At least there weren't many people around at this time of day or there would be a lot more curious glances. A petite young woman in a maid outfit with chains dangling from both wrists did tend to stick out. Her back was turned towards the oncoming young SEES as she contemplated a window display of bikinis.]

[That maid outfit would have caught him off-guard, if his mind was actually clear enough to appreciate it. Instead, Akihiko zeroed in on the fact that this woman was someone he could fight against. Especially those chains, which he only glanced at with mild interest. She didn’t look like the same girl as before, but he didn’t give a damn about that. If this one was strong… even better.

Without a conscience or an ounce of worry, Akihiko started rushing toward the woman. After some distance had been closed, his right fist jabbed out to try and get in a light hit. Meanwhile, his left arm reared back, and waited for an opening to slam in a punch with much more force.]

[The running towards her tipped her off before his reflection in the glass thankfully. But it still only gave her a moment to glance over her shoulder to catch a glint of metal. Virgo reacted by dropping... directly into the ground. And then popped up again a few yards behind him.]

Do you intend to attack me? I do not recommend it.

[ Mitsuru gets in the way of Akihiko and Virgo's intended fight with her rapier. She would rather not have Akihiko get too hurt in the situation. ]

I would not suggest starting a fight with him. He is not in the right mind.

[ She mused. She had to stop Akihiko but with minimal damage as possible. Where was Shinjiro? ]

[Audio] People need to quit being active while she's trying to sleep!

[There's something sounding suspiciously like a yawn to start with. And not a theatrical yawn either.]

Mmmm, you've been pulled to what seems to be a pocket dimension along with some of the rest of us. If you happen to kill something please let me know, I'm doing some research on our surroundings.

[Akihiko’s starting to feel like he’s back in middle school again, waiting for Mitsuru to explain the Dark Hour to him for the first time. That was just months ago, and he’s still getting used to the idea of monsters appearing out of nowhere, for no apparent reason.]

Kill something? [His interest is immediately piqued.] You mean, there’re monsters here too?

[He sounds way too excited about that prospect. He would gladly take down monsters to get stronger.]

It really depends on what you call a monster. By 'non-human', there are plenty in some areas. By 'evil creatures that need to be executed to make the world a better place', I've run across too many of those with human dna.

[Well, that’s one more person telling him they’re in some other world. Akihiko lets out a quiet noise of frustration. Part of him is supposed to worry about school and things like that, but mostly, he just cares that he can continue to fight in this world.]

Tch, we’re not alone here. [He has Shinji… and Mitsuru. He and Shinji never really had anyone but Miki, and then each other. They know how to be independent.

Akihiko shakes his head, sobering up a little at hearing the title. Mitsuru’s been trying to teach him how to be more polite, because of their interaction with the Kirijo Group, but he’s still a little rough around the edges. Especially in stressful situations.] Nope, never heard of that school. I go to Gekkoukan High. Who the hell’s pulling all of this, anyway?
