[A. Park Training]

[There has been a lot on Sun’s mind lately. What better way to forget mostly all of it than with a training session. He’s picked out a vacant spot in Genessia City to set up some training posts. Things he could hit without doing any damage to himself or anyone.

The heat didn’t bother him. Sun grew up in a place that was constantly hot, so this was a breeze. Now during winter is when he suffers. Those cold temperature are just the worst. It’d have been excellent to skip past it and jump right into this weather.

He’s ditched his shirt completely for the duration of his training session. If you come across him at any point during his training, you’ll either see him hitting a post with his bare hands, training with his weapon in their nun-chuck form, or training with it in its staff form.]


[B. Around Town]

[Sun can be found throughout the other cities at various points throughout the day once his training is finished. He has boards in all the cities that he checks in on from time to time. And if you are in Fayren, you might catch him as he’s preparing to head into the forest for something or other. He does like to keep busy when he can.]

[Despite being told not to, Terrance spends a fair amount of nights sleeping in the park. He doesn't mind the heat though he's more accustomed to constant rain through the summer. His eyes are closed and his backpack looped around his shoulder. When he hears the familiar thud of wood his eyes part.

He stands, chasing away the sleep from his nap and goes searching for the sound. Terrance has always preferred to use his mind and his physical prowess is zero to none. He watches Sun with a studious eye before speaking.]

Why trail like this mate?

[His accent is thick though he's easy to understand despite that.]

[He looks over to the guy after he speaks and he takes a moment for a breather, resting his muscles and stretching a little.] I got to keep my skills sharp. It's a way to pass the time too.

[Terrance quirks an eyebrow.]

Nothing else of interest to do here?

[He wants to see the point but he just doesn't.]

You look as if you're preparing for something.

There's a lot of interesting things to do here. [Even with him being here so long, he could still find something to do.]

I'm not. At least not at the money. My job does have me going up against dangerous monsters, though.

What's your job?

[His accents thickens.]

I'm not used to the dangerous sort of work that this place seems to have.

Well, I'm a bounty hunter for one. And I own a business in Fayren going into the forest. Sometimes I have to kill or capture monsters or bring back plants and stuff.

[rockcollector]

[Terrance hums softly.]

So people aren't at the top of the food chain in Fayren?

[monkeystowaway]

Well, I guess it depends on who gets the drop on who. [Meaning if the monster or creature gets the drop, they are at the top. But if a person gets the drop, then they are at the top.]

[rockcollector]

I suppose that's true. Man uses brain and creatures instinct.

[He muses allowed.]

I'm not skilled in combat.

[Jaune has been training a lot more often, so he shouldn't be as surprised as he is to nearly run into Sun doing the same. That doesn't stop him from initially freezing in place, pocketing the knife he was planning to train with, and backing away to just stay out of sight until he thinks he can approach him. He still feels kind of bad for his previous conversation with him. Even if he was anonymous.

Even though it's hotter than hell, he still opts for something different from what he normally wears. He waits until Sun's finished an attack before he approaches him, hoping he won't catch him as off guard that way.]

[He hears Jaune speak as he's going to grab a towel and looks in his direction.]

Oh hey, Jau- [He pauses when he sees what he has on.]

Aiming to have a heatstroke with what you have on? [Even Sun couldn't wear something like that in this weather.]

It's not as bad as wearing armor. [Actually it's about the same. It is pretty miserable but he shrugs.]

Training?

[Sun can't exactly judge. He's never warn armor before, so he couldn't tell which is hotter.]

Yep. You know we have to keep our skills sharp. [He finally grabs a towel and wipes away his sweat.] What are you out for?

Yeah. We do. [Especially here. He shifts on his feet.] I was planning to do the same. Mind if I join you?

[monkeystowaway]

Sure. You going to train in that? [He tosses the towel back down. He wasn't sure what he was going to train with, though. He didn't see a weapon.]

[aurabble]

Maybe I shouldn't. [It is ridiculously hot. He zips off the jacket so that he's just wearing a t-shirt, because not everyone has abs like Sun. He throws it to the side, withdrawing a butterfly knife. He still hasn't picked out a gun yet so he doesn't actually have one.] Or did you want to practice hand to hand?

I'm fine with whatever you are most comfortable with. [That butterfly knife is such a small weapon, though. It's definitely no sword.]

[Lenalee still found herself wondering the city every now and again to get more adjusted to her new home for the time being. At least until she felt like she could get home at least.

So today was a nice walk through the park, looking at the trees and plants that were there. However, as she puts her some strands behind her ears she soon found herself stopping.]

Ah... Are you training for something?

[monkeystowaway]

[He rests his staff against his shoulder as he grabs a towel and wipes the sweat from his face.]

Nope. Just training to pass the time. A Huntsman should always keep his skills sharp.

[bloodheels]

A... Huntsman?

[She did look slightly puzzled but she wondered if it was anything like she had done back home.]

Do you hunt something?

[monkeystowaway]

Yeah. But in my world, I hunt creatures called Grimm. Here, I have a job and business hunting for monsters and herbs in the Fayren forest.

[bloodheels]

So you do something very similar here?

[She paused for a moment, she knew no way in hell she would do a similar job she did back home. But it made her wonder what she actually wanted to do in life while she was here.]

I assume you liked your work back home to want to do it here?

[monkeystowaway]

I do. I go into the Fayren forest to hunter monsters sometimes. And hunt for herbs as well.

[He has a successful business doing it.]

I did. And I like doing something similar here too. I'm good at it.

[bloodheels]

Sounds interesting.

[She would never do it herself since she felt like now she has a choice.]

When you know what you are good at it's a good thing. I find I have to figure it out myself.

I take it you are new, then? [Most people that have been here for a while already pick what they want to do.] What did you do back in your world?
