First Voyage.
[ action ]
[ The very last thing that she remembers is setting up a party for Cinco de Mayo back in Mayfield with the Spanish teacher there and then going to bed the following night. What she didn't expect was to wake up here. ...Where was here? As the latch hisses open, Ambrosia sits up with a gasp, patting her chest. God, it was stifling, but at least she can finally hear some form of running water. That's a blessing in of itself, but this wasn't home for her. No, home was the open seas themselves. Not here.
She took notice of the box that was now on the floor, picking it up. How odd, she thought. If this was another trick by Mayfield at large, they definitely wouldn't be this generous. Carefully, she opened it, observing the items. The necklace is new, but definitely appreciated. The weird looking device is... new and kind of reminds her of Marvelous' Mobirate a little, the key makes her curious as does the pamphlet.
The pirate decided to store these things away for now and hop out of the pod she was in, seeing her sabres and her coat felt heavier than normal. A slender brow was raised before she took note of her familiar blunderbusses, flintlock pistols and grenades. Those make her smile after all, as does when she noticed she had her jewelry on her. They were small comforts of home and definitely appreciated them.
After she tied her sabres to her waist, her hand rested on the hilt as she walked over to the entrance, humming an old nautical tune under her breath. What snapped her out of that was hologram that definitely made her eyes widen. What in the blazes...? Nevertheless, she decided to listen for any pertinent information. Okay, so the pendant was useful. The Captain put that on instantly, continuing to listen to whatever she was blabbering on about. The whole thing about laws made her roll her eyes and sigh a bit. Well, even though she was mostly well behaved in Mayfield, there was always the tendency to steal things like guns and ammunition when the time called for it. As she listened to the rest of the message, she had a feeling that it was Mayfield all over again.
Well, she did it before and she can certainly do it again. Time to get to work.
Those around the Bay or in Genessia can find Ambrosia in a black and green overcoat, a white blouse, brown pants and a pair of boots. Her black hair's all frizzy, but what's noticeable in there is a small wooden heart on a string that's woven in to her hair. Her sabres were at her hips and her hat is perhaps the most striking thing on her. She took a map, but for now, she's just exploring and getting her footing. ]
[ voice ]
[ Once she consulted the pamphlet on how to even operate the damn thing, Ambrosia settled for just voice for now. Video function is another thing entirely. ]
Not again with this shit...
--Anyway, ahoy! I've heard the whole spiel from Miss Schnee 'n all, but there's a couple o' questions I've gotta ask.
First: Does th' name Mayfield mean anythin' to anyone here?
Secondly: If Mayfield don't mean nothin' to anyone, did someone named Captain Marvelous come here? Or Ako Shirabe? They were-- [ Family, really. Ako became something like a surrogate daughter to the captain and Marvelous... Well, he's the light of her life. ] They're family to me, hence why I wanna look fer 'em. If not, it's fine. Just thought I'd ask.
...Also, me name is Captain Ambrosia Gray of th' Bloody Mary. Nice to meet'cha or whatever.
Thank ye fer yer time.

[action]
He had been scribbling down notes and vague sketchy drawings pertaining to a place he hadn't noticed before when he caught sight of a woman he'd not seen in the past. Her style of dress and the rather sharp looking objects she had with her made her pretty hard to miss. Even without those things, her hat was enough to make him raise his brows curiously. ]
Pardon me, but I can't help but comment on the craftsmanship of your hat. It's rather exceptional.
[ That was how he said hello, apparently. ]
[action]
However, what snapped her out of her thoughts was when the man caught her attention. She turned around on her heel, offering him a charming smile. Instinctively, her fingers move to the edge of her hat, tilting it in greeting. ]
Ye think so, love? Do ye want to look it over?
[ What's the most that he could do with it anyway? She's fairly sure that she's faster than him if he tried to run off with it. ]
[action]
Oh, no. [ He shook his head lightly. ] It's merely hard not to notice a good hat when you see one. Makes me think you might be new around here, actually. Am I wrong?
[Video]
The way you talk...are you a pirate?
[Video]
Okay, then. Not gonna question it. ]
Aye, I am. Been one fer most of me life, actually. Are ye used to pirates?
[Video]
video;
[A pause for the moment.]
Also those names I've not heard around here.
video;
[ She's obviously very proud of that fact. However, her smile dies down a bit and she merely offers a nod. ]
I see. Thank ye fer yer help, though.
video;
[He paused for a moment, thinking of something.]
Also how are you going to sail here? The ocean doesn't exist.
Video
[Her head cants to the side.]
Is it where you're from?
Video
[ A pause. ]
It ain't as great as it sounds, trust me.
Video
Is Mayfield like here? Being trapped in a few cities?

[ if there's one thing marco's good at, it's watching, listening, and reporting what he saw/heard as he saw/heard it. often, he picks up on that which others fail to notice. it makes his attentiveness very valuable to the khan her serves. ]
[video]
Captain, eh? Bloody Mary sounds like a great name for a ship.
[I mean it's no Going Luffy-senpai but...]
[video]
Aye. Been one fer near ten years now. 'N thank ye -- it was named after me mom.
[ She's proud of that, especially since women were considered bad luck on the seas. ]

action
[ Where did he come from?
There's a small man that looks like a child (but certainly isn't one) behind her, almost entirely wrapped up in bandages, and there's a snake coiled around his shoulders. ]
