*The video is taken by someone who knows what they are doing - at an angle that is actually rather flattering. There's enough so that her face is seen, her shoulders, and the start of her chest. Sonico is smiling, calmly, into the camera, no idea who she is talking to, or if there's anyone there at all. Still, she takes a small breath before starting to speak*

I seem to have fallen asleep and woken up...somewhere, and I don't have my bike with me. Could anyone kindly let me know where the nearest train station is? I'm worried that I'm late for work, and... I think I've missed all my lectures today. I - I hate to make such a nuisance of myself, but I have so many important things to do today, and I don't want to let anyone down!

*Sonico bows gratefully into the camera, then switches her new device off*

[Action - Genessia City]

*With no clue of where to go or what to do until someone hopefully gets in touch with her, Sonico takes to wandering the city. What she does know for a fact is that she is hungry, so seeking out someplace to eat is her first priority. The girl definitely doesn't seem in too much of a hurry, scuffing her boots along the ground as she walks, arms leisurely swinging as she sings to herself.

From time to time she'll pause at the window or some food store or other. In particular, she seems distracted by a pretty bakery selling macarons. Pressing herself up against the glass, Sonico stares in happy wonder at the various different coloured confections on display. Either Sonico will be staring wistfuly at food somewhere, or she'll be staring at her device, and the map she was given, trying to figure out her next steps, looking more than just a little lost*

So...there's really no going home, hmm? Oh...

*Sonico seeks to think about this for a moment*

Hmm. Then there's nothing for it. I thought it was one of those secret hidden camera shows or something, you know?

Nah, sorry sweetheart. 'S all for real. But they got some schools an' shit 'round here so if yer seriously hankerin' t' get yer nerd on, there's ways. Oughta find some maps an' shit there right next t' the creepy egg cave. 'Less some ass went an' mucked it over 'gain...

Really? Maybe I can sit my papers here - I was so close! I'd hate all that hard work to be for nothing...

*A small sigh before she continues, and holds up a hand full of maps*

I've got plenty, thank you. I just...I'm not really exactly sure what to look for now... Having an empty schedule is too weird!

So fill it up with shit. What'd y' do back home other'n school?

Hmm - let's see... playing guitar, singing, or else I'm at work, but I like eating too. And sleeping. I like sleeping a lot!

[wanders by, pulling behind him a wagon fills with assorted puppies and dogs of various shapes and sizes and stops as he sees her]

Yo. You lost?

Hmm? Oh! I suppose I am! Though...I kinda have no idea where I am or where I even want to go!

*Then she spies the wagon of puppies and dogs and skips over, sticking out a hand to introduce herself to the animals*

Wow! Look at these cuties! Are these all yours?

Genessia right now... and nah I'm taking them back to the Puppy Prison. It's not really a prison, though.

[watches her pet them with a smile]

You new?

*Sonico shoots him a horrified look at the mention of prison, then turns her attention back to the dogs*

If it's not a prison then it's a weirdly named...doggy park? Play house?

*She stands and gives him a polite little nod of the head*

Mhm. Just got here. My name's Sonico. Nice to meet you.

Shelter I think. And yeah it's a stupid name. [it's not even cute, just annoying]

Ace. Welcome I guess. Want to help me round up some pups?

Thank you, Ace!

*She smiles again, just so pleased to have a friendly face to talk with*

Sure, I'll help! But..where did they all come from? We should take them there and try to convince the guys to call the place Puppy Palace. That's much homier sounding, don't you think?

*But that last bit seems more directed towards the puppies*

Ah--you can try. [scratches his cheek] They're pretty pissed at me since I was the one that busted all the dogs out.

You did?

*Sonico gapes at him a moment before giggling quietly*

Was it a great puppy escape? A doggy rescue? Have you kept any of them?

Both. [grins] And nah. I don't really have a place to keep em.

You can take one if you like.

Aww, that's too bad. And me neither - I don't even know where I live round about here anyway...

*She crouches closer to a couple of the puppies, making kissing noises as they lick at her hand and her nose*

Guess it's a good job I'm more of a cat lady!

[The sender will read Mr.Smith with no other information about the sender available.]

You're a nuisance by asking such stupid questions. I wish I could have the reckless innocence to disregard everything around me.

[The face of a stranger, no older than nineteen by the looks of him, appears on the screen. At the moment, the look on his face is more apologetic than anything.]

You're a college student, I assume?

Anyway, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, well...we're not at home any more -- any of us. I don't know which world you come from originally, but this is a completely different realm than your home.

Dear Mr Smith,

Thank you for taking the time to point out both my stupid questions and my innocence. I appreciate that this must be an inconvenience to you. I am sorry you do not experience reckless innocence but perhaps you should try it some time.

*An apologetic face is a welcome sight, and Sonico greets it with a soft smile*

So then it really is true. This isn't a test or...just some other weird city? There's really no way of getting back?

*She thinks about this a moment then seems suddenly quite distraught*

But I have so much to do! My friends! My kitties! They're all counting on me!

There's a couple places. I heard something about apartments for new people but I don't know much about them... Maybe there's something in the pamphlets?

[he shrugs]

I think they have some cats there too but I didn't let them out. It would have been a disaster...

[and he doesn't want the dogs to get beat up. Or the cats to get chased. Anyway cats don't mind so much as long as they're pampered]

I think I did read something...

*She digs into the pocket of her shorts and drags out a whole crumpled pile of maps and pamphlets, a couple of which the puppies take from her and begin to chew straight away*

Oh! I'll figure it out. We should get these cuties home first.

[Yashiro is sitting at an outdoor cafe, a cup of tea in his hand. He looks to be reading a magazine. There are a few items on the table in front of him. A dessert platter, to be more specific. Though he doesn't seem very interested in it.]

"You should look like an innocent flower, but be like the snake that hides underneath the flower."

*Sonico had just been looking wistfully into this particular cafe window when she determined that there was definitely no way she coule afford that stuff right now.

With a sigh she turns away and sees the man nearby. Or, more than the person sitting reading she sees the untouched plate of treats. Life feels so unfair right now.

But then... the treats are small. Maybe he'll sell her just a little one, one she can afford. So she takes small steps towards his table, eyes on the prize*
