Has anyone ever realized that you can do the Chicken Dance to the Macarena?
Or that the ABC’s is to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star?
Or that when most people think they look up and to the left?
I don’t understand the saying ‘walk a mile in each other’s shoes.’ I know what it means but if you did that you’d be a mile away from the person and have their shoes.
I think I need new things to think about…

[ She doesn't have her practice room like she had in HQ but that doesn't mean she can't practice. She keeps finding new places to practice looking to increase her focus and radius. Airy is easily distracted and if she’s going to be able to control her powers she has to fix that. Now more than ever she has more things that she wants to improve on. Reading is part of it but each new thing she reads she has to attempt to create.

Airy sitting on the hard concrete with her legs crossed beneath her. She starts with creating grass, green leafy petals rising from the concrete around her. She can feel the plant brush against her legs and a light smile begins to tease her lips. The wind ruffles her hair and she moves to the second step; creating a tree. It starts as a disembodied arm shaped branch poking out from the ground to her right but the trunk slowly thickens and the branches reach out and grow vibrant green leaves. As the leaves bloom the tree grows in height until it’s shading the area where Airy’s sitting.

Airy's eyes are closed but she looks excited. It might look odd to have a medium sized tree and grass planted in the middle of a concrete surface.]

Action; Practicing leads to Cloud Watching @ Fayren; Wednesday

[For some reason practicing with a staff seems fitting for Fayren. It’s a lot harder to stay focused without a teacher. On the plus side she isn’t being throw against the wall or the floor for fun.

She cycles through the forms trying to keep her stance and form straight. The sun feels too hot and she keeps pausing to grab a drink of water. She’s practicing for a few hours before she can be found sprawled across the grass with her bow staff resting to her right. Her chest heaves with an unsteady breath as she watches the clouds lazily roll by.

Airy points up at the sky with a smile.] And that one looks like a bunny. [She doesn’t care that she’s talking to herself.]

[Jaune remembers dancing with Airy recently. Even though it was just once, it was a good memory, and lately he hasn't had a lot of those. When he notices her sitting on the concrete, he stops where he is, not bothering to say anything at first. She looks like she's focused on something and he isn't sure if he wants to talk to her yet. He's about to leave until he sees the grass, then the tree begin to grow. After staring in shock, he finally speaks up.]

Baking, dancing, now conjuring up plants. Is there anything you can't do?

[Airy opens her eyes and looks up at him from her position seated. She continues to focus on the plants, mostly seeing if she can keep them there and hold a conversation.]

I can't breath under water or fly or draw or... [She smiles.] I can make a list.

[Though she enjoys her horrible looking stick figures.]

[Jaune keeps glancing at the plants. He's never seen anyone capable of conjuring plants before.]

I can't do any of that either. I also can't do what you're doing.

[He's seen Weiss' art before, he wouldn't be shocked by anything now.]

I've tried neither of those dances and don't plan on it so I'll just assume your statement is correct.

I think most people know the second one.

It's easy to notice that if you watch people a lot. Are you watching people, Airy?

I've always thought walking in someone else's shoes would be uncomfortable since most people's shoes would be way too small for me.

Are you trying to distract yourself from something or are these all everyday thoughts that cross your mind?

[Anastasia was returning from checking on her sub archway. It felt like nothing inside had changed. Nothing to help her with her unstable magic. It was like life in her sub archway was stagnant.

She was draped in a floral shawl and carrying a parasol to keep the sun off of her as she made her long trek back to Nova, but stopped when she passed someone whom she heard say the magical happy trigger word.]

"Bunny? Did someone say bunny? Where's the bunny? I wanna pet the bunny."

[She began to frantically look around for signs of a bunny. Anastasia has absolutely no justification to be as excited as she was, since she just left her sub archway, which had too many snow bunnies roaming free in the streets.

She roamed onto the grass to continue the search, but instead almost steps on a older girl laying on the grass.]

"Oh, hello there. Did you see where the bunny went? Someone said something looks like a bunny."

[Airy only hears a whisper of Anastasia's voice against her ear. It's hard to hear so close to the ground and she isn't really listening to anything except the gentle brush of the wind, it's nice and peaceful.

She turns her head her bright curls obscuring part of her view as she spots the girl. Airy flinches when Anastasia almost steps on her but otherwise doesn't comment. Being stepped on is an unsettling thought.]

Yeah, looks like. It isn't a bunny. I'm just... cloud watching.

[God she sounds lame.]

I can go if I'm in the way.

[Nathan let Airy go do her bo-staff practice, because well, like Dave said, it was important she know how to defend herself, so he didn't go looking for her until several hours had elapsed. What he found when he found her, though, just made him smile.

He moved to her side quietly, laying down and rolling next to her, then looking up at the sky.]

I think that one looks like a turtle.

[A smile teases her lips as Nathan lays down beside her. She turns her head to face him before looking up towards the cloud he'd indicated.]

A turtle with a really small head. [She canted her head to the side, lightly leaning her head on Nathan.] Or is that it's tail?

[She wants to keep talking about the sky but with Nathan there she feels her thoughts being pulled away as they reform something new. Her tongue flicks over her lips and she steels herself with the question posed on her lips.]

Hey Nathan, can you feel my creations?

[Airy doesn't feel up for chatting on video so she'll send Icy a text.]

And the one right over there looks like a dinosaur chasing a penguin.

[Nagisa had just closed up shop for the day as he started to walk on over. Looking up at the sky since he was seeing her doing the same thing.]

I assume you are cloud watching for a reason?

[Airy's head turns, her position on the ground affords her a skewed view of Nagisa.]

People cloud watch for a reason?

[She smiles softly and then shakes her head.]

I'm just cloud watching to cloud watch.

[ludger had been walking by when he had noticed airy, but what came next was astounding to him. he watched her carefully, and he saw as she started to create and imagine things around her. ludger walked a bit closer to her now, crouching down once he was close enough and he began to talk to her.]

Wow that is.... really something. [way better than anything he could do.]

[Airy turns her head towards Ludger and smiles. He's someone she counts as a friend and she's always excited to see him.]

You think so?

[Her tone is soft and a little breathless as she scoots herself close to her creation, beneath the thick tree.]

[ Tony didn't take walks without a set destination in mind, and the one he was on when he spotted several very unusual things was no exception. He'd almost walked right by entirely, his attention buried hopelessly in something he was doing on his device, but the misplaced hues of green had made him look up and refocus his attention. The source of what he was seeing was all he needed to decide that what he'd been doing before could wait. Being the nosy person that he was, investigation was not optional.

He stepped up to the tree with a casual air about him, tilting his head just slightly. ]

So, let me guess. You're Airy and over there is the real tree, right?

[ He was trying to be funny more than a smart ass. Really. If he didn't like Airy she would have been fired on the first day. Or, you know, more likely not hired at all. ]

[Airy looks up at Tony, her bright green eyes watching as he addresses the tree. She can't fight the smile creeping over her lips at his reply though she tries very hard to look as if he might have insulted her.]

Down here Tony, I'd like to think I look nicer than that as a tree. [She wiggles her fingers in the air as if the gesture means something when combined with what she's saying.] You know, more flowers.

[As she starts to think about flowers, bright sun-kissed daffodils begin to bloom at Tony's feet.

Woops.]
