Oh, they both are. I suppose that's something they look for in any marine. Some people... excel at it.

Trying to be that marine with just the right balance is looking like a harder task by the day.

Are you one of those excellent examples?

[ That 100% legitimately makes him laugh. Give him a couple of days and he might be stressing over what everything that happened said about him as a marine, and his dedication to duty, all of that complicated stuff.

For now, it's really nice to indulge in some of the simpler truths. ]

I doubt it! But it's something nice to aspire to. As long as you keep a good moral standing, it's hard to fall into any positions you regret.

I was a little more fortunate! Most of my training was under Sengoku. He gets tough, but I think he's a bit more reasonable.
