[When the video feed initializes, it's obvious the user is 1, outside at night in Genessia City, 2, is currently just outside the Bay as the end of Weiss' holographic message can be heard in the background and then it starts again, and 3, that the user, a dark-haired and blue-eyed gentleman in what looks to be his mid-forties is awkwardly holding the phone in one hand and the pamphlet that explains it's use in the other.
He speaks, at first to himself, with a cultured English accent, though there's a harshness to his consonants that suggests English is not his native language.]
Remarkable! [He smiles in satisfaction and adjusts his grip on the phone so it's oriented correctly for a video address before continuing.] Hello, everyone, or what I assume to be everyone paying attention at any rate. These devices are rather clever, aren't they? [He shakes his head as though chiding himself for beginning off-topic.] My apologies. This is all so fascinating! I should say preemptively that it is a pleasure to meet all of you. My name is Charles Rieben, and I have, quite obviously to most of you I'm sure, just awoken in this "Bay" so usefully marked on this map. I admit the whole situation seems a bit...off-kilter, but nothing seems life-threatening for the moment, so I believe we have time for a chat.
[He pauses here, looking a bit thoughtful.]
I do have one pressing matter to ask of you all, though. Where might one acquire an Almanac for this place?

[How he seems to know Amadeus would be able to find her easily if he had a druid, he doesn't explain.]
...I may have an idea of his endgame, but it seems a bit of a complicated way to go about it...

[She just keeps wondering why he'd hurt her the way he had.]

...[He trails off, looking thoughtful.]

[Though she knows far less about both Druids and Creators than Charles does. His train of thought appears to jump all over the place and he's losing her.]
He wanted to destroy the nod didn't he? I thought Less nods meant less sources of power or some sort of disruption.
[She's still learning how the planet works.]

[She doesn't need to make that much of a leap to know it's another vampire. Amadeus is just like that.]
What would the goal be? They can't want to just hurt the planet... Everyone needs the earth.

[Whoever was really pulling the strings sounded smarter than Airy liked.]

[He looks back to the video feed, very serious.] It's fortunate they, we, found you in time.

Silence stretches for a moment longer and Airy finds herself chewing on her lower lip. Her thoughts quickly turning. It's possible that Amadeus doesn't know what he's doing too. She glances back at the video and exhales a slow breath.]
Yeah, do you think they can do that? Turn me against- everyone.
[They've already turned her into a puppet once and while Seth had said he protected her she suddenly doesn't feel very safe.]

[Airy doesn't want to think about what they'd do if they had managed to turn her. What would they have asked her to do? Would she have made Nathan do something terrible too?
It's not something she really wants to think about.]
Anything else I can tell you? It's been awhile. I don't know what you want to know.

She's doing well. I only meet with her once a week because she's busy. I think she misses you, she's very stern and no-nonsense about things. I sometimes wonder how her and Gus get along. [It's like oil and water when they are the same room though Natalia will always consider what Gus has to say.]
Cairn's good. He had trained Nathan after the first year I was there. I mean... he still trains Nathan but now at HQ. He doesn't seem to have lost his energy. At least that's what Rachel always tells me.

She's never coped well with loss. [And he smiles, slightly bitter.]
Gus is adaptive where Natalia is unmoving. If they get on at all, it is only by that grace. [They never got on, really.] She never approved of my bringing him to us, but he quickly proved to be invaluable.
[And he smiles more fully at Cairn's mention.] Ever tenacious, that one. He's responsible for all of the wards about the place.

[At least Cairn helped her for a little bit. She doesn't remember the details all that well.]
Natalia was happier around Antonio I think. It's the same look she had around Luther though it was hard to tell. [Airy just spent too much time around them and slowly began to pick up on small things that everyone did.]
She actually listened to Gus but then Gus rarely said anything unless it was important. [Now that she's thinking back it feels like that had been a compromise.]

Antonio is the son of Natalia's twin sister. She's been searching for him as long as I have known her.
[He smirks.] She and Gus have never gotten along aside from begrudgingly. You see, when Luther was born, neither of us had any experience with raising children. He was, as you could say, a God-send.

Yeah, you know, sometimes it feels like he's everyone's dad.
[It might just be here but she's grown very close to and very fond of the old werewolf. She doesn't know where she'd be if he hadn't come after her that day or stayed with her since.]

[He laughs.]

I can see that.
[She misses him.]

He's a good man, though, even if he has trouble seeing it.

If not for us then for our children right?
[Airy knows that she's an idealist and she doesn't care. She's always wanted a family and she'll do everything she can to create a safe world for them.]
There is a lot of good in Gus and in Natalia and Luther and Nathan and everyone. I wish they could see what I see.

Not just the Creator. Everyone has the ability to bring light. They just have to see it and I think that as me, not as the Creator. [She's suddenly reminded of Luther and his obsession of her title. Its a part of her she accepts but she doesn't like to flaunt it.]

No, not everyone. Some only have the ability to bring darkness. It's just in their nature.
