[It had taken the young boy a while to place the device down once it was on he moved back. But there was something different. He wasn't in his wheelchair like he normally was. Instead he appeared to be on crutches instead.]
Hey... I've been meaning to do this for a while, but never found the time between checking deliveries, hospital appointments and paperwork for the stores. [He moved slightly, finally going to sit down slowly in front of the device, putting the crutches to the side. Once he was comfortable, he figured he should speak.]
I have been meaning to try and advertise jobs for my game shops. It's not tough work, it's mostly just selling products and making sure stock doesn't get low for the most part. But I do have Assistant Managers jobs for both places. [He paused.] I am asking for help because I keep being told to not over do it. So in order to do that, I would need to get at least one other person here. But my pitch probably isn't that great.
[He laughed slightly, mostly to himself.] But I tried. That's all that matters. Taking steps at a time.
[He was quiet, looking to the side for a brief moment before looking back.]
But apart from that, as you can tell I'm finally out of the wheelchair. I have to use crutches for the next couple of months or so but I don't mind. It means I'm still healing, still getting better. It's... the walking thing that's going to be a pain after so long though.
[He smiled before looking to the side again and leaning over. After a moment he appears to have a box in his hands.]
So, because of it, I kind of wanted to give something to those who helped me. As a way of saying thank you. It's silly, but after what I've been though, I felt like I should.
[When he was done he had switched the feed to private for two particular people.]
[Private to Ryou and Atem]
This... might sound odd, but is it okay if I speak to you both in private? I've been told talking helps and I need to talk about something to help me.

[Action]
Someone you liked... you do not like this person anymore, Aibou?
[Action]
[He never said no, however. He just knew it was an impossible thing.]
They're still a good friend, but that's it. I won't let anything get in the way of that.
[Action]
I'm sorry, Aibou.
[ He might not have had to deal with situations like that; seeing as how he spent most of his childhood running around with Mana and Mahaad and then with his father learning about his duties as Pharaoh and his time as Pharaoh was so sort... and then he was dead, so. ]
I'm not surprised by that. You were always much stronger then most.
[ And honestly, he can't imagine anyone else for the puzzle to have chosen as a partner for him. ]
[Action]
[he didn't let it get to him to much anyway, but he laughs slightly, looking away.]
I wouldn't say I'm stronger than most though. I just go with the choice I think is best. I'd rather have a friend than having to go our separate ways.
[Action]
In everything you do, you've always chosen the stronger route. I can't say that I've always done so.
[Action]
[He smiled slightly, he figured he has learnt quite a bit while being here.]
Although before I completed the puzzle I never would have chosen the stronger route. So while you've always seen me do that beforehand I didn't. It's what I learnt. Besides even though you might not have sometimes, you learn and grow from it. That's what matters.
[Action]
We grow and learn from each other.
[ Because he can certainly say he's learned a lot from Yugi. That he hopes he can show the others when its time to rejoin with them. ]
[Action]
[He paused for a moment.]
Like I've learnt that I can't always help, even when I really want to. I have my limits. Like... anything magical related I should leave well alone since I can't do much to be of use.
Re: [Action]
I think you know a lot more then you let on, considering; but yes, I suppose something you're not completely familiar with should be left to the experts.
[Action]
Maybe... But I think I said what I needed to... Though I would talk about the other thing that bothers me and what happened but I heard that was kind of shown through the devices.
[At least he heard, but never saw the video in question.]
[Action]
You speak of the assault.
[Action]
[He wasn't downgrading it or anything, but he paused for a moment. As much as he knew it was the correct wording he still hated saying it even now.]
You mean the kidnapping and torture... But yes. That is what I was on about.
[Action]
I do, yes. What about it?
[ There's a faint waver in his voice, because re-living it is not something he wants to make Yugi do. Or himself, for that matter. All he wants is the criminal to pay for his crimes, whether it be by his hand... or another's. ]
[Action]
[He paused for a moment, taking a small breath. It was still kind of affected by what happened, but he wanted to say dso he could get past it.]
Honestly... With everything we had been through... That was probably the most scared I have ever been. I think about it more and I understand why. But... because of it I can't help but feel bad and guilty because it doesn't just affect me. It affects those I know in a different way. Like with you just for an example.
[Action]
Don't blame yourself for things that are beyond your control, Aibou. There is no reason for you to feel guilty over this.
[Action]
[He smiled slightly, before giving a little sigh of relief more than anything.]
Talking actually did make me feel better. You know if you ever want to talk about anything yourself, I will always be happen to listen. But for now... Is there anything you wanted for dinner? Because we'd need to sort that out soon.
[Action]
[ Atem hesitates for a moment. There's a part of him that wants to tell him; to tell him how helpless he felt watching that broadcast, how mad at himself he is because didn't do anything to save Yugi, to spare him that pain and how angry he still is over the fact that he hasn't been able to do anything! and it's just eating at him.
Yugi has seen the best and the worst of him, but Atem doesn't want to burden him with this. After all, he's supposed to be letting Yugi go wasn't he? Allowing him to start his own journey without the shadow of a long dead nameless Pharaoh hanging over him. ]
Whatever you want is fine, Aibou.
[Action]
I don't really know what i want, but I guess I can always go to the store and see what's easy to make.
[Action]
[ You remember that one, Yugi. The 'date' you set him up on. ]
I'm not sure what's out there that could be comparable to what I know.
[Action]
[Basic cooking was at least a given to what he could do.]
Probably not comparable though. But I wouldn't honestly know.
[Action]
We could always figure it out together.
[ Sounds like fun, actually. ]
One of these days, I'll have to actually take a look to see if I can find anything I'm familiar with.
[Action]
[Admittedly he had done that to begin with anyway when he was newer around here.]
See which city helps more in that aspect.
[Action]
[ And who was the one telling Yugi he was overworking himself and comparing him to Kaiba?
Pot, meet kettle. The two of you will be the best of friends. ]
Mmm. True. Perhaps there is something around here with a bit of Egyptian flair, right, Aibou?
[Action]
[It works out really since not many of the people like them were all that interested.]
Who knows, I mean this whole place is full of surprises. But it would be fun to figure out, don't you think?
[Action]
Of course. I would love to be able to share it with you as well, Aibou. [ A pause, before he adds a bit contemplatively. ] Without the life or death experiences and saving the world, of course.
