Two || Bounty
Who: (Closed) Hinata (
hyuuga) & Touma (
fantasykiller)
What: Bounty Hunting Ievos
When: backdated to 14 August; late afternoon/early evening
Where: Fayren
Warnings: Possibly violence?
[It was still light out when Hinata finished the last of her preparations. This was not her first time hunting down and capturing an enemy, but it would be her first without a team or backup. She still didn't know how her Byakugan and chakra would be against someone with a different type of power. But she knew she couldn't keep sitting on her hands and stay within one city, especially when there were things she could help out with.
Working alone would just have to be something she got used to, and the sooner the better. With one more steadying breath, she double checked to make sure all her pouches and jacket were secured and full of every supply she may or may not need. Better to be safe than sorry.
That done, Hinata opened her window and climbed out, shutting it behind her. And as quietly as she could, she scaled the side of the building up to its roof. She didn't really want to use chakra to get to the river in question in Fayren, but running across rooftops was the quickest way to make it to that city.
Once in Fayren, she takes to the nearest tree and activates her Byakugan. At least she knew she could still use it for tracking, and she needed to find the river the crime took place at. And anything else--
Aha! There it was.
With her last steadying breath, she begins to make her way there at a slower pace than she used to get into Fayren. Tracking was a marathon and not a race, after all. At least there, she might find more answers or something to help her out on this.]

His plan to locate the magician was both simple and a little reckless; he needed to make himself a target. Ievos seemed to react violently when people used the river without his God's permission. In theory, that meant the best way to catch their attention was to use the river as he pleased. Over the course of those three hours, he utilized many different methods in an attempt to draw the troublesome magician to him. These brilliant methods mostly involved him obnoxiously splashing about in the river like an idiot and dumping candy wrappers into the water. So far, Touma has yet to see any results.
Maybe he was going about this the wrong way? Touma plopped down on the river's edge as he considered his options and what actions he should take next.

Young-looking. Boy. Swim trunks. It didn't entirely fit her mental image of a crazed religious man drowning people, but that didn't mean anything.
She bit her lip, gripping the tree trunk a little tighter. At first glance, he seemed harmless enough, but she knew better than most how much looks could deceive. The cell phone took away a little of her hesitation. At least it appeared now that he was just another person also brought here.
Either way, from this far back she wasn't going to get answers. If this was her bounty, some innocent bystander, or a person with some other motives was something she couldn't figure out without confronting them. As much as she didn't want to.
Mind made up after another brief moment, she jumped through the last few trees before the river as quietly as she could. But when she jumped off to land not too far behind him, she made sure to make noise. She didn't want to startle him too much if he turned out to be more friendly than foe.
"I don't think it's too safe to be that close to the river at the moment."
